This is the sales equivalent of a sleazy pickup artist. You can tell he's trying to sell something just by the way he writes. Its just sad, but kind of informative to read. First we start with a opener: "Does this situation sound familiar at all?" Then try to evoke emotion: "Now, this woman is EXACTLY your type - her hair, her eyes, the way she dresses ". Trying to get you visualizing - turn on feelings, turn off rational thought. Evoke feelings of loss (withdrawal) "And as you close the door be…

If all the women you want are not interested, and all the women you don't want are interested in you, that tells you something. You need to work on treating the women you want in the way you treat the ones you don't. You are probably treating the ones you don't like as normal people, and treating the attractive ones differently. You are probably coming off as needy, or putting them on a pedestal, and cock blocking yourself. Next time you see someone you want, tell yourself you aren't interested,…

Confidence includes being confident enough to talk about your limitations. But not to make excuses for them!

The other point is that , if fractionation worked, you'd be a shitty person no one wants to be around. My two step pickup strategy: Make an interesting life that makes you happy and healthy. Talk to everyone.

I'm not telling you how to live our life. If video games are what make you happy, then play them. Most people here want to get better at social interaction, that's why they are reading /r/seduction. Socials skills are all about practice - and it's a lot of hours, not ten or a hundred. How much time did you put into CoD? The problem with games is they are easy. Comfortable. "I can really escape my thoughts". If you stay in your comfort zone, nothing will ever change. If you are ok with that, it's…

It did for me. I went from shy to confident. This didn't take weeks, it took years, but less time than you have spent on reddit! :-) The best way to have things to say is to do interesting things. Right now, my conversations are shit, as no one is going out, and I'm doing jack. "What have you been up to?" "Nothing. You?" "Nothing". Even my best friends an i have trouble maintaining a conversation under those conditions. When life returns to normal, do things! Go to a music festival, that will gi…

Fractionation is just a bullshit term to used to separate desperate people from their money. Google it and look at some of the results. Endless scrolling pages full of bullshit claims and ridiculous promises aimed at the desperate. BTW, I am a Nigerian prince, and would like to send you some money.

No. Why would you? You don't talk about self help books you are reading with women you are interested in dating. Talking about what you are doing to fix yourself is a losing strategy. It's pretty much only used by people saying "oh, pity me". Just don't. You should be talking about what you are doing in your life, not what's wrong with you.
/r/seduction11/04/20 09:09 PM

The answer is very simple: Practice. Yes, that's hard right now, but that will pass. It's all about how you spend your time. If you sit at home all day, every day, you won't progress in social skills. Go out. Join groups, clubs, meetups, hikes, dances, sports. Talk to people when you are there. Google things to do in your area. The best ones for "getting started" activities are ones with many new people, and a social component (for example, going out to a lecture isn't as good for social skills …

Don't follow! There are some women that you will see that are fantastic, but the logistics won't work. Let her go! Abundance mentality: She doesn't want to talk, move on, in a different direction! Lots of people to talk to. You can say something to someone standing near you, or going the other way, but never turn around and follow, if you don't want the weirdo vibe. If you are still learning, don't keep doing it in one place, like a mall. People hate obvious PUAs. Try doing something interesting…

I think you are both right. It's easy to get stale, only trying the easy sets, and baling (this is a good way to fail at life, too!). Working to have a good vibe, and trying challenging sets is great. It's also hard to argue with "action always beats theory" and "importance of volume". You don't have to do one or the other. Pick how much you want to emphasize one or the other, and go with it. You should try some tough sets, and he should try more volume some nights. Both good.

And everyone’s reactions after? They fucking loved it lol. They gave me props for having the balls to holla, and were so happy for the good laugh. You are playing to your friends, and not the girl. I'm guessing your are in your teens. Most places would fire you for that, if she makes a complaint. No question.

This is a major step towards that, so should be celebrated. Only counting 100% successes leads to stagnation.

That is actually a great success! You've reached the point where you are looking for someone to be with, not someone to validate you. They don't fit, you can continue looking, it's not a personal rejection. And, because you weren't stressed about it, there's no issue with continuing to talk to the waitress. Female friends are great, they have insights, and suggestions and other friends! You can't sleep with everyone, making friends along the way is a win, too.

General response to the comments: This is /r/seduction, not /r/twoxchromosomes. If you have a problem with that, leave. If you have no idea what you are talking about, because you haven't gotten laid in a year, or a lifetime, don't post. This is getting ridiculous.

What's your schedule like Never. It says I'm wide open, and gives her no option to say "I'm busy". Sounds desperate. I'd like to take you out on a date I've never liked this. She's probably still deciding. The point of the date is to give you an opportunity to persuade. Have some specific plan. No "food or drink". You are still not there, you are thinking backwards. It's just like a guy who thinks "if only i got laid, I'd have a good life". It's the other way around, get the life get the girls. Same thing for you, build a social life, and the girls will come to it. The girls aren't the key, you are.

No. Compliments that are comparisons are best avoided, both to men and women. Better: "You are wonderful" Even better: "You know what I really love about you? XXX" Where x is something they do. as /u/theytoldmeineedaname says "use specific compliments".

If you only talk to girls when you are needy and horny, that's how you will come across. Practice talking to everyone, not just people you are trying to pick up. That will give you the baseline skills to talk to anyone without being fucking awkward. Picking up girls in clubs is not the place to start.
/r/seduction16/11/19 10:41 PM

Classic Netflix and chill, go for it. tell her Tell her what? Your feelings for her? Generally better to just make a move. But how do you see things continuing? If you just want to get laid, go for it. But if you are interested in relationship, you might want to start when she is back - otherwise, are you dating someone who isn't there for four months? Do you care if she sleeps with someone else while she is gone?
/r/seduction29/12/18 05:52 PM
2

Yeah. Practice helps. I just started going out and doing things with people. Sitting at home is no way to meet women.
/r/seduction29/12/18 05:44 PM

If you ever mention the word "incel", you are never, ever getting laid. Stop that shit. Stop thinking that way. Labeling yourself as a failure is how you stay a failure. Your a guy who is interested in women. Period. this might be my one chance Again, this will cause failure. There a lots of women, you'll meet tons of them. This kind of broken thinking leads to desperation, which leads to failure. Work on inner game, and self confidence. How you think determines your life. Work on it.

It's tinder. Dick around for days/weeks, and you'll burn out her interest. Stop fucking trying to have an online conversation with someone you should be meeting in person. Find something interesting to do, and ask her to go. Or just invite her over. "who’s way out of my league". There's your problem. Forget that crap. She's a person. She likes sex, or she wouldn't be on tinder. Make her happy, give her the opportunity to get laid.
/r/seduction26/12/18 04:56 AM

Women give out numbers all the time, for any reason from "fascinated" to "want him to go away". Probably didn't get her interested enough. You should behave like any guy who had gotten laid multiple times since you last talked. What do you care if she didn't respond? Abundance mentality. Smile, wave or say hello. Whatever seems right for an acquaintance.
/r/seduction30/11/18 02:27 AM

Make some female friends, and ask them. I hate that people think that pickup is something you can do when you don't have enough social skills to make friends. Go make friends - and not just women you want to fuck.

"Hey do you wanna hang out after break" It's not bad, but that doesn't really show any value. But if she's already into you, that may be enough. I usually like to suggest something to do, and invite them along. "I'm going to see X. Want to come along?"

If 3/4 of the women head for the VIP tables, then that's what's valued at that club. If you aren't a VIP, you are probably going to have issues. Once they figure it out, they are going to drift away. Try a different venue, or make more money! :-)

I've paid for her dinner even though she insisted she should pay (because that's how her parents raised her). Well, you are certainly trying to be in a friend zone. Spending money on women does not impress them, it has the opposite effect. There's nothing less seductive than trying to impress a women. Unless you are trying to be a sugar daddy, and have a lot of money. Women take this as He believes he needs to spend money on me to be good enough for me, therefor he doesn't think he's good enough…

/r/seduction09/11/18 05:16 AM

You are thinking about it wrong, and that is why you fail. The goal is not to get laid, the goal is to interact. What you are doing now is like going to the gym. You don't go to the gym to win today, you go to develop and to grow. Some people literally go to the gym once, look around and say "I'm out of shape", and never come back. They don't know they difference between a contest and a work out. Some people go to the gym and have fun, and eventually get into shape. They develop. Every interacti…

LOL! Her> everything you do is according to plan You> But the plan always works I think you might be a bit to obvious that you are doing things the way you do them with lots of girls. That's not a win from the girl's point of view, it says she's replaceable, and not unique. (Worst case; she may also have talked to someone else you have run the routine on. That would make you look like a bit of a clown. That's the issue with routine). I don't think you've blown it. I'm assuming from your level of…

Let them know what you are looking for. Usually telling them they can't have a relationship makes them want it more. Don't apologize, don't sound depressed. Just be matter of fact.
/r/seduction01/10/18 01:45 AM

They are not giving up on you because they want a relationship, they are friend zoning you, because they aren't feeling it. They are just being nice about it. I don't really feel like I'm in a good position to be in a relationship Your mindset is focused on your personal issues, and they can feel it. When you can go on a date where you genuinely want to have fun tonight, instead of "you're not ready for a relationship", you might get somewhere edit:typo, phrasing

Last time someone asked me that, I told her I was 12, I just looked mature for my age. It worked. Of course, if they thought I was younger than them, I'd reverse it "I'm 103, I just live well".

Stop worrying so much about your feelings. It's a failure mindset. Just do, don't waste time introspecting. I know that if I can somehow render rejection meaningless I know the warm fuzzy types encourage this kind of shit, but just don't. You are just inventing obstacles "If only this, then that". Just fucking do it, forget this crap.

Excellent! The one thing I'll suggest (not sure if you did it) is put the same energy into welcoming the guy. It makes you look better to the girl, and two friends can be an introduction to more. Congrats on the number & kiss! Keep up the good work.
/r/seduction30/09/18 11:26 PM

Start with the easy things. These are events with some structure. Clubs, meetings, anything where they expect new people. Those are easy starters. Parties and such are great, but harder if you haven't developed the skills specific to them. Start easy. Look up things to do on your campus. I googled that for University of Houston, as an example. That led to student activities, which was the right phrase. Find the page like this for your campus: https://ssl.uh.edu/campus-life/student-activities/ind…

I've been going at it for two weeks now. Two weeks is nothing. Honestly, I think you are doing great. Reading is a good support, but there's nothing like time in the field. If I connect with a super gorgeous girl/girl I vibe with, I stop gaming Yeah, I have friends you get an interview for their dream job, and stop interviewing. Guess how well that works. We texted for a lil bit and then she stopped replying thats the last time I got a number. I used to do this. Drove me crazy, they'd always drop off. Texting is for logistics, not aimless chatter until she gets bored. Community college is harder; fewer events, more people live at home. Find any on campus events you can, and go to them. (I mean, anything mildly likely to have interesting women).
/r/seduction18/09/18 02:24 AM

I've been going to conventions for years, and have picked up women there. I don't know that I would these days, it's so hypersensitive. But if you want to do it, the best way is to present value, and let them approach you. You want to meet cute women that cosplay, then bring your A-game, and your A-costume. Women generally hate guys that lurk around and try to get laid. Guys that have passion and have fun, on the other hand, are welcomed.
/r/seduction18/09/18 02:20 AM
2

Depends on the college, but many have events that are open to the public (e.g. dances may or may not require student ID). Go the the social events that are open. People there are prequalified as being interested in socializing.
/r/seduction18/09/18 02:16 AM

Good design? Question mark, because I suck at it, but women always seem to appreciate well decorated places (the kind you see in magazines, or as close as you can get). Clean! Good music. Something interesting for them to come up and see.
/r/seduction18/09/18 02:13 AM

Go to every event/club/game you can (but not so much that you flunk) Talk to people. Don't worry about picking anyone up, you are laying groundwork, not getting laid tonight. Talk to everyone, men, women, ugly, cute, student, non-student. Women are attracted to men who have a fun, full life. Quit Facebook, skip the video games, hit the gym, the dances, the campus clubs. edit.
/r/seduction18/09/18 01:28 AM

Ah, yes - the 'Job Interview' style of pickup. How's that working out? More seriously, give to get. You can't just ask a series of questions. You need to put some information out there as well. If she hasn't given you an engaged answer, one that you can build on, after a couple of questions, then you need to say something interesting.

This is a good post. This sub used to post a lot of practical, direct, "you need to hear this" advice. It was much better then. Too much "oh, pity me" now. Also a good example of how to promote your stuff properly. A page of solid advice, followed by a link. Add value, then suggest something.

/r/seduction25/08/18 04:20 PM

There are tons of free dates. And if you take her on one, she'll appreciate your thoughtfulness, and be happy not to worry about money. Go hiking. Go to the beach, Window shop downtown. Google free things to do in your city. This is a great chance to shine. Go for it.

"Men are rational" Bullshit. We're just as emotionally driven, just with different drivers. But you are right about women.
/r/seduction06/08/18 12:13 AM

I haven't used a therapist. Try it and see it it works for you. Personally, I found that more social interaction resulted in more comfort. So, with or without therapy, go out and do social things. It's a lot easier if you don't put the pressure of pickup on it to start with. Just go out and have fun. /u/coreyrude suggested toastmasters. That's a great, safe place, to practice social skills.
/r/seduction06/08/18 12:08 AM

No. I wouldn't date myself. I don't have large breasts. (thank god). Very few people are looking to date some one with their own characteristics - most of us look for a complement, not a clone. Always good to look inward, and reflect, but this post has nothing to do with seduction.
/r/seduction05/08/18 11:59 PM

Develop hobbies that involve people. Don't spend time at home, alone. (don't waste time on reddit, video games, etc). Don't waste your time starting with cold pickup, or crap like that. Baby steps. Practice social interaction. Organized group events are great for this. (clubs, meetups, hiking groups, running clubs, book groups). Go regularly. Avoid the standard pickup places (bars, clubs), where you will get immediately judged.
/r/seduction03/08/18 04:19 PM

Not that that's a bad question, but, if you can't figure out one of 7 things, do the other six. Don't spend too much time thinking, start doing.

If you do activities that involve women, you get to do warm approaches (there's a good post today about music festivals, for example). Way easier than complimenting random strangers. Hence "have an interesting life". Completely cold approaches are hard. I don't use the "walk up and compliment and get a number". Too high failure, too high ghosting on "success". I prefer situational openers, and trying to move into a longer conversation right away. (coffee, nearby bar, etc).

Yes, it's challenging with no information. That's why it starts small: weather, sports, current happenings. Generic topics that work for most people. As the conversation progresses you get more of a feel for the other person, you get more information that you can build on for a deeper conversation (or you back away slowly!)
/r/seduction01/08/18 07:14 AM

It's not that information about texting isn't useful, it's that TEXT is well described in TEXT, putting it into a VIDEO seems makes the information harder to get to. Your video thumbnail is a video of a screenshot of text. Think about how silly that is. Text, converted to an image, then take a video of it. I'm not criticizing the content at all.
/r/seduction31/07/18 02:45 PM

Why on earth would you do a video on texting? If there's anything that would make no sense as a video, it's text.

This is why the Mystery Method crap fell out of favor. It's not that it doesn't work, it's that nobody likes a manipulator. Not women, not men. You have to keep finding new venues, because when people start recognizing your routines, you're out of there. Live well, have an interesting life, meet interesting people, and you'll never have to worry about being seen as a creep.
/r/seduction31/07/18 05:21 AM

Really, your first sentence holds the answer to all of your questions. stop looking for approval and validation from women and man Also good: stopped fapping and deleted social medias and found a job with a hobby i love, And trying to learn a new language. Don't look for someone to make your life good; make your life good, and someone will find you.

I just hate to speak to people about non sense You are confused. Small talk is not nonsense, small talk is about exchanging critical information, before going on to other communication. Conversation has multiple channels of information. (speech cadence, posture, tonality, word choice, topic choice, eye contact, listening skills, etc). The fact that the words are not carrying most of the information does not mean that there is not a LOT of information being exchanged. Missing this fact means you …

Everyone is selling the "ultimate resource". 90% of them are crap, so that's your odds. I don't know anything about RSD Todd in particular. Find a preview/sample. If it's all "There's a secret", "imagine fucking beautiful women", "won't it be great", then it's crap. If he doesn't have enough information to put some good stuff in the same, he probably doesn't have much information.

Think about what your audience (and women) want other interaction. "

How do I just not give a fuck and approach girls on the street, or in a library! Be in the moment. Don't be thinking about the future ("I might get laid!") or the past ("Women hate me"). Expect to have a pleasant conversation. Pay attention to what's going on *now. Be outcome independent. Your happiness does not depend on their approval. You have to not care how it comes out. You talk to them for the conversation. You talk because you expect to have a good conversation.

It usually means they do like you, but aren't interested in dating you (at least, not yet). Meeting up with a girl and her friends is a dating goldmine. There's the first girl, all her friends, and the women that see you with a bunch of friend. Not to mention that friends are a good thing in general. If you have the time, do it. If you've got a better options, do that.
/r/seduction07/07/18 04:34 PM

Seduction guidelines are guidelines. It's like opening a door for a woman. Most of them like it, a few get offended by it. More women seem to like the "Let's do X" approach", this one doesn't. It's a numbers game. And these things vary by location and time, so adapt, if you get this a lot. There are no "universal" rules. Anyone who says otherwise is selling something.
/r/seduction07/07/18 04:24 PM

LPT: Never compare women, either directly or indirectly. Not when picking up, not when dating, not when married. That includes the implied comparison of "you're the most beautiful girl in this bar!!" Frequently the girl coming out ahead in the comparison won't thank you, either. Just don't.

You are doing fine. It's a skill, it takes practice to get good. If you are persistent, and pay attention to what works and doesn't (like you seem to be doing), you will do just fine. Where does it go wrong? How do you treat the women you are succeeding with vs. failing with?

Goal is to have fun, no mater how the evening ends. Start the night with contact - hug on on the way in, touch as much as is comfortable. Escalate as long as they reciprocate.

It's a bit late, how you react can set the tone. If you get uncomfortable, because you feel you are doing something wrong, you are setting the tone for them, and it's going to go badly. If you are happy to see both of them, smile and say "hello", you may get out alive :-) If you don't think it's ok, then you shouldn't be doing it.

How I usually approach asking them for a date is after I think I build a rapport with them. I just don't blurt out: "Go out with me!" Understood. But if it's not working, you look for possible issues. Without knowing how you go about it, there's no way for anyone to comment. It could be that you are failing to build the rapport that you think you have. It could be that you are friend zoning yourself, with your approach. It could be that your invite needs work. It's a classic pattern. You are not afraid of women. You are afraid of getting hurt by ones you care about. The only ones that can hurt you are the ones you are interest in. The others aren't scary, because you don't care.
/r/seduction12/11/17 04:54 PM

It's a life rule: don't pass on opportunities now, because you think you have one in the future. Also: if your date shows up, and some other girl is giving you attention, she'll try really hard to win you back.
/r/seduction12/11/17 04:45 PM

Just gently escalate. She's asking you for rides home, and looking for validation that she's not a slut. Sounds like ASD. Tell her she's perfectly normal for enjoying sex, then seduce her. Suggest continuing the conversation when you take her home, and see if you get invited in.
/r/seduction12/11/17 04:41 PM

What the hell is wrong with me You are afraid to get hurt again. Good things always come with risks. Go back and get her number. Maybe spend no more than five minutes planning what you will say, then go do it.

There are lots of ways to pickup women. Don't like negging? Don't. There are some parts of pickup that are pretty non-negotiable, like "actually talk to women", and "stop reading about seduction, and get out of the house". Negging is not one of these things. Go read "Models". It sounds like all you've read is the game.

I recommend the fine volume "Get the fuck out of the house and talk to girls now". It's excellent.
/r/seduction31/10/17 04:11 AM

also, don't assume you have blown it. Women are surprisingly tolerant of a lot of things, if you don't take them to serious. You are doing fine. For others: 1) Don't get mad at her 2) Don't get mad at yourself. Life's a game, have fun playing.
/r/seduction31/10/17 04:03 AM

You know, if you can laugh at yourself, you're doing fine. Everyone chokes sometimes, everyone freezes someday. If you can laugh about it, you can get back in the game with a smile on your face. That's how you win.

Muscle helps, but that's not the reason to go. The mental effects are even more important. Your body is designed to exercise. If you don't, it will fuck you up. It's like leaving your car parked in the garage for years. Work out. It doesn't matter much, if weights, running, dancing, or having ridiculous amounts of sex. Exercise is good for your brain.

Forget the pickup shit, and work on building a good life. You'll meet better women, and you'll be a better man. Pick up and this lifestyle in general is made to look so freakin perfect and majestic in youtube videos That's because they are selling you shit. You aren't dumb enough to believe ads, are you?
/r/seduction28/10/17 02:36 AM

Like you are being intentionally secretive about wanting to fuck them? If you think about it, you are doing exactly what you think they are doing. That's probably why you assume that's what they are doing. So, be more honest. Be more flirtatious. Ask them to events that are solo, and seductive, not group events. Tell her she's beautiful. Have confidence. Maybe they are not telling you, as they want to leave it open for you to make a move. So, make it.
/r/seduction28/10/17 02:16 AM

Work on yourself. It always pays off.
/r/seduction28/10/17 02:02 AM

Many people have friends of both sexes. It's normal. Why are you waiting weeks to tell them you want some more? If you have no interest in them, other than seduction, you should be escalating way faster than "weeks". Guys with female friends tend to get laid more. Not necessarily by these women, but they have friends, and you'll have social proof.

Forget the age gap. Mentioning it is a likely turn off. She's already interested. Plan your logistics (where will you take her for privacy? Is your room clean? Out of condoms?) Meet her, maybe bounce to one or two places (where?), and take her home. You've got this.

1) Bragging is not real life. 2) Practice, practice, practice. College have tons of activities designed to give you a chance to get to know people. Take advantage of them. Disney and our moms taught us. Nothing screws up men in this country like trying to learn relationships from movies. Just don't. Most chick flicks are about some already qualified guy proving his love for a women. ("50 Shades" features a billionaire model, IIRC). Women dream about being pursued by a guy they already want. Yeah, if you haven't been social for a while, then getting out and practicing social skills can be a good first step before working pickup. It'll help you lose any "creepy" vibe you might have picked up. Also, college is way better than high school, I think. High school has so many cliques and rules - you are likely to be labelled "creepy" just for talking to a girl that thinks she's out of your league. College shakes that up, and people are much more open.

Many people assume monogamy based on behavior. If you want to not leave pissed off women behind, you might want to be explicit about your relationship. It sounds like you know they would be upset, your call how you want to deal with that.

Don't kill the attraction with things like "How was your night". Move things straight to meeting up in the real world. That will convey the interest just fine. Just like women, all men are different. But your perception that you can lessen your value if you initiate is true, in some cases. A lot of pickup for men is how to open without lowering value. (Value lowering: "You sure are beautiful". Terrible opener) I think most men are Ok with women opening, but some may not be. A simple alternative would be to just open the conversation with something less direct (nothing about attraction) - just let them know it's ok to talk to you. Opening the conversati…

If you are getting responses, but no dates, it's your text game. General wisdom is text is for closing to date, not for getting to know her. If you keep texting too long, they lose interest. The first conversation is to set up a meeting. If you are getting dates, but not getting laid, post a field report, there's not enough information here to comment.

I've found that this sort of thing goes over people's heads. Everything is so technical at those competitions. Like figure skating. It's not the technique that gets you laid, it's the entire crowd looking up to you, it's publicly being the best. Women love that, don't matter in what. I don't think so. If you are twenty and fit, and talking to a twenty year old girl, you can walk up with an attraction based opener - "hey, you are cute". If you are fifty, and try that with a twenty year old, you'll get blown out. You have to be more indirect.
/r/seduction03/06/17 09:00 PM

No, that's absolutely bullshit. That's what we tell the beginners, so they will quit making excuses and try. :-) Different approaches work for different people. If the women is way more attractive, you have to go more indirect. You can't just go in with "hey, I think you are cute". You can still go in, you can still close. But if you try an approach that doesn't fit, you'll blow out every time.

All women are available for romantic interactions. She wasn't interested in you (yet). You can either use that as a filter, and spend your time on more receptive girls, which will save you time. Or you can build more attraction with this girl before you start making your physical interest clear. Sets are the game equivalent of reps in the gym. Gotta get the hours in, if you want results. But props for doing it intelligently, and looking for feedback, before hitting it again.

because I feel like I waited 3 days for a lame excuse of a text, I'm not impressed with her reasoning, no one is super busy that they can't text you back - I figure she can wait for my next text, that's not bitterness is it? Yep. Nothing but. And it will keep you from getting laid. You can be mad at the world for not being perfect, or work with what you have. The second one works way better for me.

You talk to them. Even though it's scary. Bravery isn't absence of fear, it's feeling the fear and doing it anyway.

I sometimes just text - "now you have my number, too. - MyName Other than that, I tend to agree that texting is for logistics, not 'how are you?' level stuff. You texted "Can I be honest?", I suggest following up with non-needy honesty. I don't have a magic bullet, but I'd go for common interests. "I really like talking to you. You seem really XXX", where that's some quality she knows she has. And then "would you be up for YYY". Pick an activity that you know you have in common. Can you find a v…

The lesson is simple: Ask for what you want, and get it, or don't ask and don't get it. Decide what kind of life you want to have, and live it. You don't have a choice, not making a decision, is a decision. What are you going to do?

Yes, you have to go to social events, but you seem to be confused - there are tons of social events that don't involve college or drinking. Hit meetup.com for an easy start.

Even if you do everything right, sometimes it doesn't work. No big criticism. I'd probably send your first text ""Nice meeting you, Gtrman571 :)" within a few minutes or never. Right away, it confirms that you met her, and that she has your number. If it's later than that, it's just an empty of meaning text. Or just start with your second one. Keep it up, be nice if you see her there again.

And you missed my least favorite chunk of posts: "Am I too pathetic to get laid?" and its older brother "I'm angry I got rejected". Two sticky posts would kill 90% of the traffic and improve the place immeasurably. And read the sidebar! There's great stuff in there. The park with the great flowers. First move is to somewhere close. Preferably somewhere you were 'already going'. Your goal is not to get her number, your goal is to seduce her. Girls won't be direct, they've learned angry guys can get worse if directly rejected. Ghosting is safest for them (literally talking physical safety here). If you don't get that, you aren't ready to date. One of the most important things you can do to be less angry, and be more dateable is to not put a label on the girls activities. One should never "confess" feelings. It's a one way ticket to the friend zone. Confessing is what you do for things you did wrong, or aren't proud of. If you aren't proud of your feelings for her, she's not going to be interested. If you are going to tell someone you like them, own it - be happy and confident with it. Never be hesitant or shy. I think she'll probably say "yes", but give a few moments thought to the "no" option. You just need to accept what she says with a smile. Do not show hurt, or be a dick about it.

The best way to do small talk is to do interesting things. Did you do anything in the last month besides video gaming and fapping? No wonder your small talk sucks. Go out. Dance, laugh, party. Do something scary. You won't have any trouble making conversation. You just have to have something to talk about.

I hate myself because I have no success with women whatsoever. Stop keeping score by women. Set some goals for yourself, and keep them. (backpack across Europe, do a color run, take up MMA). Anything that will satisfy YOU. Find value in your actions, not seeking it from others. (You probably aren't even seeking it from women, you just want to show them to the world). Models also a good book. Counseling is an option as well.

textwise This is not good text game. Pointless conversations will fade out until they ghost. Text is for logistics. Build attraction in person. /r/seduction16/03/17 04:23 AM

Next time she's laughing at one of your jokes, say "you are really fun to hang out with. We should do more of this. Do you want to go to prom?"
/r/seduction16/03/17 04:22 AM

Flirting involves interacting with them. Checking out can be done from a distance.
/r/seduction16/03/17 04:20 AM

Make up an outrageous one. "Drug mule", "Rhinocerous Trainer", "Professional bubble blower". She'll get interested, and want to really know. Don't tell her, keep making it up. "What are you really?" "Really? Squid hunter. Professional"
/r/seduction16/03/17 04:19 AM

On spring break, are you really going to ask for a number? It's spring break, you'll never see her again. Take her home now.
/r/seduction15/03/17 05:45 AM

Well, I'm just trying to figure out what you mean by partly a firm, and partly a society If it's more business like, you don't want to be blatantly trying to pick people up. (blatant: other people noticing). If it's more like a frat, ignore this. I think flirtation tends to get less overt as you get older. More attitude and expression than "hey, you look cute"

/r/seduction15/03/17 05:25 AM

/r/seduction15/03/17 05:22 AM

how do i get them to percieve me as more experienced than i am Usually, there's nothing more obvious than someone trying to pretend they are someone they are not. Especially around those who are what you are pretending to be. Be yourself. Better a confident you, that a uncertain fake. Let them tell you things that you don't know. Hell, let her teach you things you don't know. I'd be more subtle being flirtatious than at college. Have fun.

Can't tell from your description. Could just be insecurity, or could be your behavior. Asian can be a plus or minus, depending where you are. Don't even think about it. It's like being tall: it's not gonna change, so no point in worrying about it. Ask a female friend you aren't planning on dating for advice. Girls love to give advice. Depends on your gym. A lot of women wear headphones, and look down because they are actually there to work out. I think it's a bit of a dick move to interrupt someone clearly trying to not be hit on. But if your gym has a juice bar, or it's after your zumba class together, say hello.

Get better at sex. Seriously, take her to Good Vibrations, or whatever you have nearby. Pick up a book, or a toy. Then read it together, or play with it together. BTW: The comment "get better at sex" was not a slam. It was serious advice. Just like pickup, you take the cards you have, and play them as well as you can. You want sex with a woman to get better, make it better. And, I can assure you, there's nothing like lots of orgasms to make a woman really want to make you happy. Go buy a book on…

You denied there was competition to suck up to this one. She noticed both things. said "hes prob not interested anymore" She's playing you, just like you just failed to do with her. she texted me today with small talk so at least my feelings didn't scare her off completely This is a very good sign. Just keep talking to her. Keep acting like a man (compliment her, don't apologize for your feeling). don't ask her to tell you how she feels. Act like you are on a date you are enjoying. The fact that you have female friends that will talk you up is great. That probably matters more than what she (Christine) actually said. Now I'm going to go into what I think didn't work so well…

The reason is, of the girl knows I like her, she will get defensive and move on No, if the girl thinks you want something from her, she'll get defensive and move on. If you let her know that she's smart/funny/sexy/well dressed/interesting/unusual she'll be pleased and keep talking. I'm developing a theory that you shouldn't look for her reaction after a complement - that says you are looking for approval, or a pat on the head (good dog). It's polarizing. some will not like it, some will take it as a challenge. I'd play it up. Or take some white-out :-P And ignore your idiot friends. The cast is going to be there, so work it. It's like the rest of life, it's all about how you work with what you have.
/r/seduction12/03/17 09:15 PM

This isn't really a seduction question. We're good with how to do things, when you are ready to do things. My biggest problem is I feel like I'm unworthy of affection I still can't break out of the belief that sexuality is somehow immoral and that it's wrong for me to even be thinking about it This is more of a "talk to someone who deals with this" kind of problem. The one thing I'll say is "you can do this".
/r/seduction12/03/17 09:12 PM

You don't realize it, but it means exactly that. Comments like this show up all the time on seddit, and they show way more about how you think about women than you are aware. And it's at the key of why things aren't working for you. There are a couple things that are killing your game here: Lack of social understanding, and lack of ability to see things from her perspective. You can't game if you aren't aware of how other people think. A simple example: A fat girl at work asks you out. Do you sa…

/r/seduction12/03/17 06:13 AM

Not sure. Usually "no spark" means you aren't flirting, or doing kino. You are registering to her as a nice person, but not developing attraction. Bear in mind, with Tinder, the fuse is shorter. You need to be moving things along, not setting up things for later.
/r/seduction11/03/17 07:27 PM

Don't stress. Some sets go south, it doesn't sound like you fucked up. Maybe she doesn't like to dance. And friends dragging friends away is probably the biggest hazard in club game. You attracted her, and talked to her. So your game doesn't suck. Just keep at it.

Should I stop being concerned with being polite with them Polite works fine. You don't have to be a douche to get girls. (It works really well for some people. I'm not one of them.). Couple polite with confidence, and leadership. Be the kind of person who does what they want to do, and invites others to join. Where a lot of guys go wrong in "politeness", it confusing it with "doormat". Doormats do not get laid. Polite: I'm going to a show tomorrow, you wanna come? Doormat: What do you wanna do? …

So, missing a word. I'm assuming "i dont wanna waste more of my time". If I'm wrong, ignore the following. Don't do this. It's just flagging yourself as having issues. It shows you're annoyed, so you flunked the test. Be outcome independent. Now, she wasn't that into you, so small loss, but it's a bad habit to get into - it shows your inner game is off. I was answering "how to keep things going when I run out of things to say". It's not that movies are great. But if that's all you can say about a movie, I can see why you run out of conversation soon. I think maybe this is more of the issue. What can you say about a movie? "I loved that scene where XXX", "I could not stop laughing at". "It was so sad". Movies survive by tugging at your emotions. Use that. Go see "The Fault is in Our Stars". If you can't manage some emotional connect after that, …

Arguing about whether it's a date does get you out of the friend zone. But I'm not sure the asshole zone is an improvement. People that try to deal with this kind of issue with words always come off as insecure and insincere. What do you care what she calls it? Either go, and seduce her, or don't go. Losers argue.

Seriously? I read this forum pretty regularly, and i must have missed that. But then, I don't read the posts that are trying to sell something. People that are sleeping with a new girl every night don't have time to post. And someone who has actually slept with 300 women wouldn't be here unless they wanted to help - so they wouldn't mention it.
/r/seduction11/03/17 03:40 AM

"other people" - are these people you want to be listening to? Lots of people will tell you to not stand out, be different, go for it. Doesn't matter whether it's pickup, starting a company, going to college. Most women date older at some point - usually not long term.
/r/seduction11/03/17 03:35 AM

Serious now: There is really one person whose opinion matters: hers. Don't make her feel creeped out. It's good manners, and creeped out women don't sleep with you. That's a skills thing. Ok, and your opinion, too. You, OP, clearly think there is something wrong with it. If its not for you, don't do it. This is a seduction forum, people aren't likely to say "don't". And yes, some people will judge you. Mostly the women your age, who think you should be dating them. If there are a lot of women ar…
/r/seduction11/03/17 03:18 AM

Can't win if you don't try! Go for it. Let us know how it goes.
/r/seduction11/03/17 03:09 AM

Don't underestimate the power of silence. You don't have to always talk. Certainly a walk in the park, you can smile at her, and then just enjoy the scenery. It can be very romantic. Or go to a performance. Movies are a bad first date, since you can't talk. But if want a break from talking, go to a movie. And then you have something to talk about.

Who wouldn't want that? But perfection is a fantasy. It only exists in people we don't talk to.
/r/seduction11/03/17 03:00 AM

This girl was absolutely perfect (in my eyes) There's your problem, leading to and I couldn't even grow the balls to say hello Who wouldn't be intimidated by perfection? But she's not. It's your imagination building her up to something unobtainable. And you do nothing. But in reality, she's a person, not an ideal. She eats, she farts, she pukes, just like you. When you realize that you'll be able to approach.

/r/seduction10/03/17 05:50 AM

Do some research, and find some fun activities to do. Then drop them into the conversation, and if she seems interested, invite. You have to take the initiative to move it to the next step. I suspect you are waiting for them, or for it to just "happen". It won't, unless you make it. Suggest doing somethingoutside of class.
/r/seduction10/03/17 05:49 AM

What do you have to talk about? Go do at least three things this week that you haven't done before. Then you will have something to talk about. Doesn't have to be skydiving naked. Go to a beach you haven't been to, or a bar you haven't been to. Take a class, do some improv, take a dance class, do a color run. Do this regularly, and you'll be the most interesting guy in the room.
/r/seduction10/03/17 05:46 AM

Wrong mindset.
/r/seduction10/03/17 05:43 AM

The fact that people on the internet keep posting it, because it's the only rule they have ever seen does not mean anyone uses it in real life.

It can. And what's the consequences if it comes off weird? You didn't manage to smoothly talk to one woman. And you probably didn't annoy her particularly, since you didn't hang around. Then you try again with the next one, and gradually, you get better. Without major stress, or annoying the shit out of a bunch of women.

Intense isn't necessarily bad. Needy comes from needing social interaction. We all need some. That's why you should go out and get some. Then you won't be so needy around women you want to date. Social interaction is much easier than seduction, but it builds fundamentals and makes you feel better.

Also good. A man is in control of himself, and not easily provoked. Really, you sound like you just need some more practice. Keep up what you are doing. Talk to more people. Find the ones that like your sense of humor, let the other ones settle for someone else.

This is how guys end up in the friend zone - because women don't see a man who follows them around and agrees with everything they say as boyfriend material. I posted a field Report on a popular pickup blog recently, and everyone was telling me that I need more structure and to start investigating 'routines'. Everyone has their own opinions, and each forum tends to have a bit of an identity. The issue with routines is not that they don't work, but that you need a steady stream of new women - women who don't talk to each other. Otherwise you are likely to get called out as a pickup artist, and make yourself unwelcome.

Different people have different opinions. Most people into pickup with say "of course". Many women will say "of course not". To me, it really depends on your level of skill. Normally, I would say "don't" on gym pickup, but if she talks to you first, go for it. Since most women avoid talking to people at the gym, that's a pretty strong IOI. Forget Facebook. Go direct to post workout date - the endorphins are pumping. Starbucks and see how it goes.

The key thing to making a conversation is to have something to say. Go do something unusual, or several things. It will make you a better, more interesting person.

How would I set it up? like this: We've been touchy-feely with each other so far; playfully punching each other, brushing up, stood in line waiting for drinks casually pushing each other with our elbows, etc. Then you put your arm around her. then if that goes well (it will, she likes you) face her, and put the other arm on her waist. Don't stay inside. Stop sitting in front of your computer. Stare at the walls for a few hours without your electronic baby sitter, and you'll be motivated to go out and do something. If you are going to rap, rap publicly. Get some attention. Are there open mics for rap? I don't know. Find out. You can work out at home. Google for ideas. meetups/classes/clubs/activities. Again, Google it. Stop doing the things that don't count, if you want something to change.

You are right, it can be a lot harder than college. Look for groups. Want to work out? Don't life at an all male gym, find a pilates class. Bonus: girls will be fit! Yoga, kickboxing, hiking etc. /u/meowfix is right, Check out meetup.com. In many larger cities, there are tons of group activities. Look for salsa/swing/blues dance places. Take the classes.

Lots of definitions of friend zone out there. Mine: When you are hanging around with someone, because you want to sleep with them. And not being honest about what you want, and never making a move - hoping she'll somehow notice what a great guy you are. That's a pretty awkward attempt to advertise your blog. Better to give before you get, it gives you credibility, and creates interest. This is the equivalent of a cheesy, canned pickup line that people have heard a hundred times before.

I don't want to go back to gym because i don't like that. Which do you care more about pussy or gym? Doing the things you need to do, to get what you want is discipline. You might want to think about if some of the humor is counter productive. E.g. Violent/racist/negative jokes. Make sure you aren't telling jokes and looking for approval. Maybe I was unclear when I said "you don't escalate next time" I meant "you don't escalate next time, you take her home this time" In other words, stop waiting and start doing. If she's smiling when you grab her ass, and asking for dick, it's time to give her dick.. Plan the logistics in advance. Invite her to something near your home or hers. ('wanna come over and study'? or 'I just got <movie she likes> on netflix. Let watch it tonight')
/r/seduction13/02/17 02:19 AM

Why can't I escalate? Not sure what you mean. You should escalate. Start small, and build up again. But don't stop escalation unless she gives you a stop signal. A girl who says she needs a new " dick appointment " is being about as obvious as it gets. Obvious but necessary: Just because she was ready to jump your bones last time, doesn't guarantee she will next time, so start easy, work up to it. But work up to it in one night, there's no need to wait for next time.

It means they don't want to talk to you. Don't take it personally, they probably do it to any man they don't know. If you stare at them the whole time you approach, you will almost always get this. Things that I find help. 1) Don't stare at them as they approach 2) Smile while you are approaching. They may not be looking at you, but they are still registering your body language. Be happy.

If you can't make eye contact with her, and she's got headphones in, she's sending a pretty strong message of "leave me alone". If you are gorgeous, or a master, maybe you can try, but I'd leave her alone. For general public places, make a comment about something happening around you. The more interesting it is, the less it will seem like a canned "line". Learn to be observant. If she engages, then proceed. If she ignores you, or shuts you down, move on.

Now, props to you for wanting to make your intentions clear. I feel like you might be looking for permission to take things to the next level. ("Is it a 'date'? Good, then I can touch her, etc."). Just ask. Ive done things to try and compensate for this, such as a huge grad proposal, taking her out and buying her dinner/food and a few other smaller things. No. This is trying to buy your way in. It just gets you a ticket to the friend zone. Trying to change who you are is not the way to get a girl that already "always liked" who you are already. Women are skittish in this day and age, they are frequently nervous about strangers looking at them. Two things I've found on this: Be smiling before you look at them. They can tell. Look near them, not at them. Then when they look at you, you can meet their eyes and smile more.

I often feel I must just not be physically attractive enough which I can't do a great deal about. Nope. You are getting past that filter. Girls don't grind on guys they don't find attractive.

Told my brother I was gonna approach her but he tried to talk me out of it. Soon after my bro and his friends wanted to leave. Seriously? You don't have a wingman, you have a cockblock. Never bring this guy out with you again when you are looking to succeed. Your first set sounds like a slam-dunk. You were doing fantastically. Isolate and close. Seriously, I think you need to stop overthinking, and work on closing. (and never go clubbing with your brother). You are doing great up to that point.

You need to work on the abundance mentality. There are plenty of women out there to fuck - if one goes away, who cares? If you get angry about it, you lose. What do you lose? Chance to sleep with her again. Chance for her to introduce you to her friends Chance to figure out why she bailed, so you can do better with other girls Odds are, she one of the other people she was dating got picked. Happens to everyone who dates a lot. No reflection on you. Better reaction, exit with a compliment: "No? T…

I was embarrassingly bad at it, for way too long. There weren't any resources that I was aware of. I just had to find my own way. I'll see if I can think of any good stories. They'd mostly be what not to do. What to do: Practice, practice, practice. Read a bit, practice a lot. Don't take anything as gospel. If it sounds reasonable, try it for yourself. Start now. I'm a big fan of small improvements. I don't think going from zero to hero in one step is realistic. If you haven't been doing this, d…

when I ask what she is up to on weekends There we have the problem. You are being a needy follower. Girls don't date needy followers. This is how you friend zone yourself. Needy: Girls hate this type of question, as it's designed to find a space in her schedule where she doesn't have something, so she doesn't have a handy excuse to say no. Follower: You are starting with her schedule, not yours. What you should be doing: Find things YOU want to do, preferably in your shared areas of interest, an…

I like /u/ErusDraco's response, I'd try that first. An alternate would be "Do you know when women reach their sexual peak? Around <her age>. Do you know when men do? <smile>"

You can't fix someone else. Note that people like this are their own worst enemy for a reason. The two most common are: It draws attention and support from well meaning friends. This is what you are doing. This actually encourages self-defeating behavior, because it brings attention. (Girls do this a lot, too. Don't date girls that do this!) It's an excuse for failure. If girls don't date fat guys, and he's fat, then it's not his fault - it's not that he is a hopeless loser, he's just fat. Peopl…

As /u/chillfancy says, escalate kino: touch him more. Gradually up it. At some point, you will notice him moving closer, or moving away. There's your answer. Also when he touches, encourage him to escalate: if he puts an arm around you, lean in. If he hugs you, before letting go all the way, make eye contact and smile. Think about him kissing you, that should put the right kind of smile on your face! (if he holds eye contact, slowly tilt your head just a bit. If he does the same ... :) Dress a b…

You are doing the right things, keep it up. The only think I might add is meditation. It sounds like you need some practice calming the internal noise. Fake it until you make it. No one cares if you are good enough. They care if you act good enough. So, don't give a fuck if you are "good enough", act like you are good enough. Then you'll get the practice you need to be who you want to be.

So many excuses! Learn to dump those, or no amount of advice will help. There will always be a reason you couldn't. Don't allow yourself to fall into that trap. we locked eyes quite a bit Go over and talk to her She often smiled at me and I smiled back Go over and talk to her! I also happened to be sitting at the table right next to hers. Go over and fucking talk to her! Seriously, the only thing you need to add to "Fucking talk to her" is "talk to her friend, too". First, this isn't tumblr, you don't have to apologize for wanting a girlfriend. Having said that, even though the end goal is dating, I'd stop focusing on women and start just talking to everyone. From "weak social skills" to pickup is a big jump. Just take the first step, fix the weak social skills. Talk to everyone you meet. Be as interesting as you can manage to everyone you meet. Find ways to talk to many people (old, young, ugly, pretty, men, women). You'll get a lot more practice if you ta…

I had a huge mental barrier preventing me from doing it well There we have the problem! No, not the barrier. The fact that you are blaming your lack of success on some abstract "barrier" instead of on lack of practice and training. If it's a "barrier", then it's not your fault, right? Not under your control. Might as well quit. Bullshit. This is a mindset is probably THE problem that is limiting you. Try the book "Mindset" for some insight. Take some responsibility. It's scary, but it's worth it…

now I'm to become a pimp from zero I'm not a fan of "zero to hero" - get the fundamentals down, and then the rest isn't such a leap. As /u/dutchbookmkrr says, work on yourself, it'll make the rest so much easier. And stop comparing yourself to others, that rarely leads to anything good. Sounds like getting out of school will be good. (better than "depths of hell"). Just tell yourself it's a complete fresh start, and go for it. 25 is a great age to be. Celebrate it.

You get higher odds with closing in the first bar, if she leaves, you may never see her again. If she's showing that much interest, I'd try to close before separating, if this happens again. "I've got a better place to go" and lead her off home...

Friends are good ways to meet new people, provide social proof, give you feedback. They definitely make it easier. It's also easier to make friends than pickup girls, so I recommend it as a starting point, if you aren't heavy on the social skills already. Or do both. I don't recommend ignoring the friends part and solely doing pickup. Friends are good things to have.

The beginning of everything is like that, it's all new, you have no idea where you can go. Then after awhile it grows familiar, and even easy, and the same thrill isn't there. (A lot of people go through this in relationships) There are many options: You can enjoy the comfort zone You push for new limits that test your skills once again. Pickup a 10, or twins, or in a girl in another country. Pickup a new hobby. Work with a team, and learn from others. Teach others Combine it with a new hobby (p…

Attractive women are people. I never implied anything else. I'm simply stating that, if you pretended you don't notice their attractiveness, they won't ever notice yours.

Right... You're new here, aren't you? The guy may live in a small town, where that works, or he may be very good looking, but it sounds like one of those articles written by someone who sits at home alone writing pickup advice for naive young men. You'll learn to spot them. This is pickup 101 RULE 1: LOOKS DON't MATTER LOL, no. Looks do matter. Anyone who's done any pickup will tell you that. They simply aren't the only factor. Advice given that works fine for someone who's highly attractive, ca…

If you treat her like an friend, and wait for her to notice you are a great guy, and confess her love for you, you ain't never getting laid. This is the true friendzone. If you continue to treat her as an attractive woman, without putting her on a pedestal, you can do just fine, now or next year.

Can't tell. Could miss you, could be drunk texting, may have just gotten dumped. Doesn't matter, problem is not her, it's you. Stop being, in your words: "... an insecure, needy, jealous piece of shit.". I don't want to get my hopes up Don't. Be outcome independent. You are letting your fear rule you. You are so afraid of getting hurt, you are not going to even try? Stop caring so much. You'll win some, you'll lose some, if you play the game. Or you can stay at home, and play video games alone. …

Why would you post this without testing it? If you look at women as they come into view, they'll look at the floor, the walls, anything. But not you. Unless you are very attractive. I've tried. (I'm not particularly attractive). Best I've found: 1) Be smiling before the see you 2) Look near them 3) Meet their eyes when they look to see if you are looking. Or be very attractive.
