It’s enjoyable because good sex with an attractive partner is enjoyable in itself. As a man, there are few greater pleasures in life than fucking your partners brains out while she’s vocally and enthusiastically moaning and fucking back Needless to say, that’s a greatly enjoyable feeling

That’s where I disagree and think you’re totally wrong. The patriarchy isn’t the root cause. Science, evolutionary biology and natural selection is the root cause. You’ll have as much luck asking men and women to change their behavior in dating as teaching a fish not to swim. That’s why the redpill is so powerful and so empowering to men. It explains their everyday reality. It helps them navigate that messy reality, and doesn’t feed them some feel good egalitarian bullshit about how the world ou…

They are being gaslit by people denying the reality that, on average, men and women are fundamentally different in their behavior towards dating and sex. As I said in another post, there’s a reason why being assertive and dominant helps men in sex and relationships. There’s a reason why even the most ardent feminists (again, in a statistically large sample size) enjoy being submissive in bed. There’s a reason why women have such a strong preference to date tall men. That’s what the redpill means…

Nah, it’s great that women have equal rights an opportunities as men. The context is pretty much in dating and relationships. No matter how progressive the society, in a large enough population size,, women are not going to be as proactive in asking men out for dates. They still expect men to take the lead. The redpill points out that this reality is because of fundamental biological differences in behavior between men and women, because of evolutionary forces. There’s a reason why things like a…

The end game is being happy and fulfilled. More specifically, it’s having a good job, financial independence, a close network of trusted friends and fulfilling sex and relationships with a partner on your terms. The red pill helps men respect themselves, achieve fulfillment and avoid being taken advantage of. It does this by helping men understand the fundamental biological differences in behavior between men and women (especially related to dating, sex and relationships) that arises because of …

Not really. Political opinions, personality, etc are all mutable and can change. The importance of good sex with a hot girl/guy cannot be under estimated. Good sex is the fuel that keeps a relationship alive.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/11/21 04:09 PM

Fair enough. Yeah I think women like that are the equivalents of male simps
/r/PurplePillDebate04/11/21 09:09 PM

But if he’s honest from the start about only wanting sex and not a relationship, why does she still continue to have sex with him and not walk away? Why not stop seeing him have sex with another man who actually wants a relationship? Still struggling to see why it’s the guys fault if he’s honest from the start and practices safe sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/11/21 09:01 PM
1

Hm, I kinda see your concern. But when men have safe sex casually (with a condom), the risk of pregnancy or STD is vanishingly low. So if he was honest from the start, and practices safe sex, surely she’s equally responsible if she continues to hook up full well knowing his intentions? Struggling to see why the guy is the villain here. He’s just living his life and is chill. No drama, no emotions, just good sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/11/21 08:55 PM

As a guy I expect to have sex within 4 dates. If not, then onto the next gal
/r/PurplePillDebate04/11/21 08:44 PM

Where to start. I just hate this guy. It should be obvious why. Next. Why?? I’m curious now. Especially if he was honest from the start?
/r/PurplePillDebate04/11/21 08:40 PM

It’s not hard as you grow older. Be honest, have lots of good sex, be kind, be healthy. Everything else is just a bonus.

Depends on how hot you (and she) are
/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/21 02:52 PM

But in the end it’s still your behavior that matters most It matters second most. Looks (especially height) still matters the most. Women are absolutely brutal to short men (< 5’6”). Evolutionary biology gives no fucks.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/10/21 11:09 AM

Haha I’m not short :) I have friends who are, and it breaks my heart to see them put so much effort into dating and beat themselves up over their personality, and not realize the elephant in the room

One of my favorite Vonnegut quotes is from Cat’s cradle. “Midget, midget, midget, how he struts and winks, For he knows a man's as big as what he hopes and thinks!” Perfect microcosm of the human condition in general. Captures the absurdity of trying to ignore reality and fooling yourself for moral grandstanding. Could not be more relevant to the plight of short men in dating. There’s another great related quote about “The heartbreaking necessity of lying about reality and the heartbreaking impo…

Healthy dose of TRP and practice. Just to be abundantly clear, I am asking about tangible, actionable steps that you deliberately took for the explicit purpose of improving your social skills. Not vague, feel-good nonsense like "I learned to love myself.", etc. Specifically, going to the gym and lifting weights, not being friends with women I’m attracted to but asking them out right away, agree and amplify when dealing with shit tests, being more touchy feely, bar dates with alcohol instead of c…

Yeah. So fuck bitches get money. You know what I’m talking about right? Haha no, that’s dehumanizing language that treats women as objects 😉 Instead, my point is don’t be a simp if you’re a man, and focus inwards on spending energy that formerly was used in obsessively and actively chasing women, into now making money.

Travel a lot, experience different cultures and places, meet new people, explore new hobbies and new experiences, buy quality things, fancy restaurants and cars, buy a house and live somewhere nice, be stress free, socialize with other high income people, pick up expensive hobbies like skiing etc I.e. life becomes a lot easier with money

I wish there was an easy answer :( As a first attempt I’ll say STEM degree, tech jobs, med school, MBA, upskilling, learning emotional intelligence, learning how to sell yourself, second job to increase income, and plain dumb luck. There’s a really simple solution to this dilemma. Ignore women and get rich. Money solves so many problems in life, and there are so many things you can do and places you can explore with money. Ironically, more often than not it also solves any women problem too

As always, the true conflict is one of economic class and not race/gender/identity pol nonsense. Right now, life is great if you have an advanced STEM degree, six figure job that allows remote work, etc. some of this group is woke (esp east coast liberals, but they’re still NIMBYs), but can also lean libertarian/conservative. How about food shortages? No such thing in the US Inflation? & Riots? Current high inflation is a transitional response. Even if not, I make enough money for it not to matter. Oh it will. We’re both in our 30s and not young kids anymore. I find it’s only the young “woke” fresh out of college kids who make everything about politics. At the end of the day, enjoying time together, being outdoors on hikes, being financially independent, good sex, etc are all much more important than sharing political beliefs. Politics doesn’t really affect you if you aren’t poor and not woke

A lot of things matter in choosing a mate Sure, but in a large enough population size, there are fairly universal patterns in the traits we find attractive in the opposite gender. This is because, like all other living things, our brains have been shaped by hundreds of thousands of years of natural selection and evolution. Therefore, human behavior such as choosing a mate also isn’t random, but has been shaped by evolution. For this reason, you’ll see very similar patterns of behavior across cul…

Are the ideas correct or not? At the end of the day, human behavior and attraction, like everything else, is the result of hundreds of thousands of years of evolution and natural selection. As a result, in a large enough population groups, both both men and women exhibit very predictable patterns of what behavior they find attractive in the opposite gender. At its core, TRP just points out these trends. E.g it doesn’t just tell you that women have an overwhelming preference for height in men, it…

What content would you pay for? Number one priority is paying for a college degree in STEM, remote degrees and online certifications (e.g AI/ML certification), medical school etc.. I.e. any content that lets you earn more money down the line. Pay money for quality entertainment content too e.g. movie tickets, sporting events, media like HBO, Netflix, YouTube TV, etc I think for men, paying for content for gratification can be summarized down to the gold rule: “Don’t be a simp”

It’s interesting how in a comment about male insecurity and vulnerability, you still make it about the woman and focus only on “large labia” It just reinforces their point, truly nobody gives a flying fuck about men.

Because Reddit is full of young woke kids who are too naive to understand how the world really works. It’s the conviction of youth mixed with inexperience. Kids ignore them, they put them in old age/elderly homes and Skype or zoom every now and then.

The answer is: 1) Looks (facial features, height, athleticism) 2) Money (> 100k per year adjusted for cost of living) 3) Status (being high value, someone respected by other men and wanted by other women)
/r/PurplePillDebate16/09/21 02:21 PM

Perhaps. I’m not sure about that. I think many of those men are being either intentionally dishonest to appear morally smug and superior (aka “woke”), or they are genuinely fooling themselves that they’re somehow suppressing their innate biological instincts. I think the number of truly low libido men (either through health conditions or ourliers) are much lower than most people think. There’s a reason male thirst is a thing, and that reason is biology and genetics.

Honestly, jokes aside, I think feminism is vitally important. Historically, women have not enjoyed equal rights as men. Even now, and especially in many non-western countries, they are not afforded the same opportunities and freedom to pursue happiness as men. Women need to have the same opportunities and freedoms as men, both in their professional and personal lives, and I totally support that from of feminism (that’s about true egalitarianism). The point is, the world has progressed since then (especially since the advent of the scientific method). Islamic culture alas has not and still largely lives in the Stone Age with respect to its judicial system (e.g. Sharia) and fundamental rights (blasphemy laws, womens rights, etc.) Islam needs a great reformer desperately.

This is complete bullshit and typical Muslim apologetics. Sure, Islamic culture contributed to proto-science, but that’s still in the stone ages. Islam, like all religions, is completely incompatible with the minder scientific method. I.e. everything from Darwin’s theory of evolution to modern physics. But nobody should be sticking their dick in crazy, not just because it hurts them but it also hurts other people. The problem is people seek out sex based status before they ever place any dutiful care towards appreciating and fostering healthy social environments. It takes two to tango. Sex is an innate biological phenomenon. Our biological drive doesn’t give a fuck about “appreciating and fostering healthy environments”. If being nice to a woman and wanting to get intimate with her is a form of disrespect, what women do should be seen as downright heinous. No I disagree, what women do makes perfect logical sense when you think about it. Of course they’ll take emotional validation offered for free by the ugly but nice guy, and sleep with the hot guy. From their point of view, it’s a win-win. It’s not like they’re asking for emotional validation either, they’re being offered that freely. The fault here lies entire…

Treating someone as a human being with respect is vastly different from being their friend. Men don’t owe women friendship, just like how women don’t owe men sex.

Often however, you see dudes who, upon seeing that the potential for a relationship or sex goes out the window (friendzone), they stop being so friendly compared to before. And absolutely nothing wrong with that.

However, my point is societies like the African dwarf pygmies are the outliers with very stringent and unique environments. In contrast, for the general female homo sapien population across all societies, they have a strong innate biological preference for taller men. Do you disagree with that claim?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/21 04:54 PM
3

I’m not saying tall men are genetically superior at all. In fact, there’s a host of health problems with being tall. I believe shorter men have longer life expectancy. In certain environments, shorter humans have clearly been selected for. Right, but only because of environmental factors like nutrient scarcity, which is the outlier not the norm. All I’m saying is that across modern Homo sapiens, women have an innate biologically driven preference to have sex and mate with taller men (in a large …
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/21 04:43 PM

Only because there were other pressing factors like lack of nutrition. If a African pygmies were to compete against modern humans, female African Pygmy women on tinder would not give the short me a chance. At the end of the day, it’s all just biology and genetics. The reason women overwhelmingly prefer tall and big men is rooted in evolutionary biology.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/21 02:26 PM
1

Nope. It’s not if women voluntarily offer it at a price in a safe and ethical manner as a business transaction. I’d say it’s more misogynistic and dehumanizing to take away independence and agency from women, and presume you can control what they do. Please don’t be misogynistic. Be better.

Not true. For example, they can support technology (the infamous sexbots), or vote to legalize/normalize ethical and safe escort/prostitution services, etc. The first step to fixing his issue is acknowledging privilege and inequity.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/21 09:53 AM

Personally I have too much respect for myself to make an effort to spend time with someone who doesn’t value me as a whole person. Completely agree, but that’s also EXACTLY the reason why I’m not friends with women I find attractive. If they also find me attractive, then we date. Otherwise, I have too much respect for myself to make an effort to spend time with someone who doesn’t value me as a whole person. Yup agree totally

It wouldn’t work because it’s against fundamental biological human nature.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/21 11:54 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/21 11:49 AM
2

Disrespect?! That’s rather entitled don’t you think? Why is simple friendship/companionship not good enough in itself and why are those women somehow automatically entitled to male sexual attraction? Flipping the question, if women told men that they’re only friends for emotional validation and favors, do you think the guys will feel valued? .
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/21 11:35 AM

Something seems off here. It makes perfect sense with two simple rules: Be attractive Don’t be unattractive In that case, “friends” means a cute guy she’s attracted to but doesn’t have a label for because it’s very early. Otherwise, “friends” is a guy who hangs around for group activities or maybe helping her move, but someone she’ll never ever fuck because he’s ugly.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/21 04:39 AM

On the contrary, me and guys I know only befriend ugly/fat women (outside work colleagues). If she’s attractive, then I wanna smash and not be her friend.

and she’s thinks he’s unattractive funnily enough…
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/21 03:06 PM

Right, but what’s the trigger? I’d argue there’s no incentive for young women to change when there’s always another really hot bad boy giving attention/validation/great sex they think they can tame/fix. It’s only when that resource starts to run out (looks fading), there’s an incentive to have a reflection and self realization. This is why women settle for nice guys when their looks begin to fade.

Anyone can have character development. I’m just saying what you’re claiming as “character development”, in the very narrow context of women settling for “nice guys” after dating “bad boys”, is in fact strongly correlated with women losing physical attractiveness. Men aren’t faultless either. There’s a reason why they string those women along for sex without committing. It’s all about sexual market value. That’s a key factor that underlies “character development” in men and women.

First of all in the Bay Area, total compensation (salary + stocks + bonus) runs very high. 250k a year is solidly average in total income there. 40% of all households in Silicon Valley make 200k+ a year Next, I don’t want to settle with a gold-digger. So I don’t advertise my income or job either. When I mentioned my job on dating apps, I got a ton of dates it’s true. But always with women pushing for a relationship ASAP. I am baffled why she does see us as equals. It’s because there are plenty of guys with career, money and business that it’s not as special as you think. For example, I have an income of 250k a year (big tech), am 5’11”, early 30s but am average looking as well. I don’t run marathons but comfortably run 10ks and bench my own body weight. The reality is that guys like us are still in excess supply. We are the “safe” guys that women settle with once they’ve had their fun in their twenties. Do you r…

Men do the same thing too, if we are being honest. The difference in how nicely we treat attractive women and fat women in everyday interactions is night and day. Height in men is similar to weight in women.

Ever wondered why this fact exists? Why is the bar higher for men? Why are the expectations higher and the pressure higher? In the context of dating, sex and relationships it’s because of evolutionary biology and natural selection. In STEM, I agree with you totally. There are large systemic gender and racial barriers that prevent women and minorities from thriving in traditionally white-male dominated fields. In dating however, there are fundamental biologically driven differences in the outward…

Why do women value themselves so much? You need to understand, the sexual marketplace values them so much because they are hot. Hot women are in demand due to scarcity, whereas average men are in plenty of supply. It makes perfect sense why hot women value themselves so much, because that indeed reflects their true market value.

Like I said, this realization usually only happens as the woman grows older, her looks begin to fade, she’s getting less free attention and validation with the “bad boys” and there’s more competition from even younger and prettier women. That realization usually only happens when their looks begin to fade and they can’t get attention from the “bad boys” easily and so need to settle with a less toxic but also less physically attractive guy. But sex is biological even if gender identity is a choice right? If we agree that our behaviors and traits we find attractive have been selected for by millions of years of evolution and natural selection, that should apply to all people. When Reddit was in its heyday there was a great post that explained the answer to this question. In short, for women romance “just happens”. For them, it’s something that’s spontaneous as they are the passive recipient more often than not. Whereas any man knows the same thing is not true for them, there’s a lot of conscious effort and planning involved. It’s saying the right thing, acting a certain way, knowing when to escalate and when to back off. In contrast to women, men are active pursuers …

The problem is, you aren’t a man of value (for short/long term relationships) unless you meet those standards (superficial or not) Ultimately, every man needs to decide for themselves if it’s worth the grind. I’m not saying it’s always true, but there’s a perception that fat girls are easy and more open in bed. So men who prioritize easy sex will identify and date such women. Bigger fit girls are hot though, and should have little difficulty getting dates! In general, for reasons arising from evolutionary biology, I think most men will prefer petite, feminine looking women (wide hip to waist ratio, etc). I still disagree. Personality isn’t something that’s innate/set in stone like you presume. It can be changed. TRP helps you genuinely change yourself into a new person that’s attractive to women (e.g. more confident, outgoing, extroverted, less friendly and less of a people pleaser). It’s because I think there’s an element of subconscious unease that has been selected for by evolution in raising a child who doesn’t share your genes. And you’ll be financially responsible for her and her kids too. Plenty of single dads around for single moms though!

No, sexual release is not the same need as sex with another human being. Fyi, sex with another human is on the Maslow pyramid, not masturbation. That doesn't mean we're ready to bounce on every cock that comes our way. Yes, and nobody's asking you to. Doesn't take away from the fact that the median woman has much easier access to sex. Men and women are fundamentally different that way in their lived experience.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/21 04:55 PM

I wouldn't be so harsh. Who knows what she or anyone else has personally experinced!? However, at the end of the day, attraction isn't really "mysterious" (though most women believe it is). It's subject to evolutionary biology like all other aspects of human behavior. Everything makes sense only under the light of evolution.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/21 02:38 PM

It's not that complex, most people aren't special snowflakes. At the end of the day it's just evolutionary biology. The traits each gender finds attractive has been selected for by evolution over hundreds of thousands of years all the way from the time of our common ancestors. This is why in a large enough sample size, most women are attracted to men with height, money, status, dominant personalities. Similar, most men are attracted to women with youth and beauty. Understanding this cold reality…

I highly doubt most men are simps who think all their problems will be cured with pussy. Agreed, but most men, like most women, want sex. It's part of the Maslow hierarchy of needs. It's just that women have much easier access to sex with much less effort. The two sexes are fundamentally different in that way (even in the median, not just the outliers) Is it really that hard to accept the reality that women have it easier in getting access to sex? I'm not saying they have it easier dating overal…
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/21 12:44 PM

Sure, but that's the key difference between the genders. Even though they might act the same, one gender has much easier access to sex and relationships than the other. So there are fundamental biological differences, irrespective of culture, personality, etc.

True, but that's because it's easy for the average woman to get casual sex. It takes nearly zero effort. It's much harder for a guy to get casual sex. He needs to have above average charm, looks, status, etc. It takes skill and effort. That's why the double standard exists. The real comparison should be with a guy who gives away commitment too freely (says I love you on the second date for example). He's the equivalent of the woman who sleeps around.

It's because of post-modernism and tendency for smart people to ignore evolutionary biology and scientific evidence if it doesn't agree with their egalitarian world view. A lot of people don't seem to realize the traits we.find attractive aren't random but have been selected for by evolution over millions of years. The transgender debate is another excellent example where feelings > facts.

Not an insult. My current girlfriend who wanted a relationship also slept with me on the second date. We just kept going out and sleeping with each other until she said she wanted a relationship three months in, which was perfectly fine by me. At the end of the day, I don't care if I'm alpha/beta or whatever. Like most men, I just want amazing sex and/or a relationship with a hot woman. If she willingly offers both, then great!
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/20 11:54 AM

Duh, it's cause their looks begin to fade and they can't date the hot, sexy, exciting guys anymore. So, they settle with Mr less attractive but stable and rich guy to have kids and raise a family with. If women stayed young, they'd only date the hot, sexy and exciting guy who's great in bed and would never settle. This is dating 101

It's interesting how all the subjective "but what about me" arguments in this subreddit seem to come from women. Rather than look at statistical data and objective evidence, they turn to their feelings and personal experiences.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/04/20 02:48 PM

This is simply not true. At its core, RP philosophy is the realization that the specific traits and personalities we find attractive in the other gender are fairly universal and have been selected for by natural selection and evolution. People aren't special snowflakes but exhibit fairly predictable patterns of behavior and are attracted to similar things. RP is about accepting that reality and trying to maximize the chance to get sex. For guys, that means being forward, dominant, rich, high sta…

I urge you take a introductory/college biology class to educate yourself instead of reading random stuff online, especially with words you don't understand the meaning of. /r/PurplePillDebate24/02/20 08:32 PM
2

Umm what?? It's precisely that because height is strongly dependent on genetics that it's subject to selection pressure. Specifically, women find men who are taller more attractive and are more likely to sleep and have offspring with them and propagate those genes. Conversely, short men are less likely to do so. That is the definition of selection pressure. Height preference is universal across all cultures.

It's all biology and natural selection. For some reason, even educated people seem to forget that evolution and biology applies to humans as well. We're all just greater apes in clothes.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/02/20 04:36 PM

Since you're a scientist, you should know the answer is rooted in evolutionary biology and natural selection. The traits and features we find attractive have largely been shaped by evolution. Women are biologically predisposed to being attracted to tall men.

Older women find committed relationships all the time and much easier than low value men will, honestly And you realize the older women are now settling with less attractive men/low value men than when they were younger, that makes them bitter and leads to increased divorces initiated by women right? I disagree. Gender studies might be considered as an "academic" subject in universities, but it's more skin to philosophy than science. In fact, it's EXACTLY like literary criticism, which is also unscientific At the heart of the scientific method is that all hypothesis should be empirically tested with facts and data. Most of gender studies miserably fails this metric. It assumes certain tenets as unquestionably true, despite the lack of data (and in some cases, the presence of data showing the…

And if so, what happened with the irerversible denaturing, conformational and structural changes to the proteins in his blood (that evolved over hundreds of millions of years) after metabolic activity ceases. I'm curious, why not run away? Is it social/family pressure? Something else? Like I can see why the community around church is nice, but surely you also see that the beliefs make no sense, especially from a scientific view? What I find it hard to understand is how one can live a life fooling oneself into believing things which are just plainly false and absurd. It seems so sad.

Alternatively, you could just deconvert from being Catholic as well? After all, it's not hard. God most probably doesn't exist and is made up by humans, the miracles don't make sense in a scientific worldview, and you don't need religion to be a moral and good person It's sad how many attractive girls have been brainwashed by religion.

No, I'm not at all saying she should not strive for happiness. She certainly should do whatever makes her feel happy! I'm just pointing out that as bad she thinks she has it on relationships/sex/dating, the average man has it much worse! So she could perhaps take a broader perspective to lessen her discomfort (as in the realization, hey as bad as it is for me, I'm still much better off than the average man).
/r/PurplePillDebate23/10/19 05:24 PM

For a relationship you need sex + emotional intimacy. Average Women: can easily get sex, less easily emotional intimacy Average man: can neither get sex nor emotional intimacy without significant effort. So, relationships are much easier for the average woman. This should be common knowledge. How are we even debating this basic fact in 2019??
/r/PurplePillDebate23/10/19 03:09 PM

The point is, you're still better of than most men. So, learn to appreciate life and be grateful for what advantages you have i.e. access to easy sex and attention whenever you want it, on your terms, and not having to be alone. Most men would be really glad to have 1/10th of that

/r/PurplePillDebate11/10/19 09:20 PM

Lol I think you missed their point! It goes like this A relationship = physical intimacy (sex) + commitment/emotional intimacy For most women, sex is easy to get. Even for fat ugly women, sex is easy to get. So atleast they get one part of the equation. For most men, sex is hard to get. Bald ugly men typically get nothing. They get no part of the equation. So, fat women have an easier life than bald women. QED

Lol and who does all the shit jobs? Cleaning sewers? Construction work? Dying fighting fires? Men. Because women make it that way. The point is, men have a larger tail on both ends of the distribution. At the top AND at the bottom. It's the greater male variability hypothesis. On average, women have a much easier and priveleged life.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/10/19 06:32 PM

That's a bad copout and you know it. Obviously there's no single set of genes that causally determines specific behavior. You already know that the enormously complex interactions between a range of different alleles, and the environment, all subtly influence behavior. But that doesn't mean we're all blank slates. Biology and particularly sex differences, influences these traits bit does not determine them. For example, most of us know women who are taller than men, and men who are shorter than …

Nah, it's the women who are wasting their own time. This is exactly the female equivalent of a guy being friendzoned. I.e. investing time and being emotionally available for a women in the hope of getting laid, but never getting any. By your logic, is it the woman's fault for wasting his time? Or was the man entitled in expecting sex and should have called the friendship quits?

I think this is a classic example of "feels vs reals" and the divide between the pills that I don't think will ever be bridged. When discussing dating, relationships and sex, women and bluepillers tens to rely on subjective, personal experiences and feelings while disregarding facts. Men and redpillers rely on objective empirical data, evidence and facts while disregarding feelings.

Are all women this unscientific? We're talking about people, who along with the other great apee, have evolved from a common ancestor by natural selection. We're talking about how the traits we find attractive have been subjected to natural selection, not magical wishy-washy thinking.

Just a intense sexual desire and a limited time frame. That's the human condition in a nutshell. We are all animals evolved from a common ancestor, subject to a mortal lifespan and slaves to our biological urges. Best of luck, hope you reach your goal of moving out of Brazil soon

Yeah, exercise is one of the best antidotes to depression! Even starting something like a 5k walk, and transitioning to a jog/run will do wonders for your mood and outlook. All the stress and worries melt away after a workout session, even if it isn't magically going to get you a GF. It's basically a combination of many things, but the most important things you can do to increase the chance of getting sex/a relationship are: 1) working out and putting on some muscle. Doesn't need to be a lot, ju…

Well, I'd recommend you hit the gym, learn how to agree & amplify, don't be friends with women you're attracted, dont to listen to feminists for dating advice and be direct and forward if you wanna get laid. You've still got tons of time, I had a lot of success in dating only after 26,

Yup! Did for me and I'm Indian. The biggest reason I got successful at online dating was hitting the gym
/r/PurplePillDebate16/12/18 02:43 PM

Well, but what you don't realize is the first guy isn't objectively as attractive as the second guy. Women aren't just looking for relationships, they are looking for relationships with attractive men. Attractive men of course have much more options and can get a lot of casual sex. So, if they want a relationship, they have to sleep with him because otherwise some other woman will. Unattractive men get nothing. They aren't automatically entitled to sex, just like women aren't entitled to relatio…

My success online dating seems to depend mostly on how much effort I put in— am I messaging first? Am I responding in a timely fashion with interesting responses? Very true, but surely you realize the same argument can be applied to men, as in men have lives too. Like you, men are college students too with lives, workloads, etc. Yet, they are still expected to send messages, make the investment, etc otherwise they aren't getting a date. In fact, all the statistics show that even the most attract…

A woman has a significantly higher risk during the 9 month gestation peroid, the risk is much lower for a man. So, the woman has an incentive to be picky, and also completely display diffe…

You have to have some sympathy for them though. Now they're 35+ and the looks begin to fade, of course they're going to feel "attacked" and "judged" if men start rejecting them for their history. It's certainly doesn't seem fair I mean, they can't magically become unfucked
/r/PurplePillDebate11/12/18 01:24 PM
1

That's fair, but at the end of the day humans are just animals in clothes. Yes we have a brain, but we are subject to the same biological drives and impulses. Nothing inherently right or wrong with chasing for sex with attractive people. It's just one of the many ways of living life. Now I agree that some men are frustrated and angry when they can't achieve this, because the reality is it's much easier for women to have casual sex with attractive men, and I think that's what upsets many men
/r/PurplePillDebate11/12/18 11:44 AM
2

Why? He/she is right though. There's no such thing a soul, and objectively speaking a "soulmate" doesn't exist. It's just two people deeply in love thinking they're a soulmate due to chemical signals in the brain Human beings have evolved to fall in love for a specific reason (parents staying together increases the odds of the child surviving and a higher chance their DNA will be passed to offspring) The traits we find attractive and the people we fall in love with has been selected for by evolu…

/r/PurplePillDebate21/11/18 02:18 PM

Yup exactly, so they get a rich, but physically average/highly educated/skinny-fat/passive /dad bod/less experienced (but still tall!) man When they're young, they get the hot, muscular, aggressive, more experienced, physically attractive men. Your observation is AF/BB in a nutshell

I totally agree with you, men can be very shortsighted indeed
/r/PurplePillDebate06/11/18 04:05 PM
3

I agree with you. It's not the fault of women or men. It's just biological reality, selected for by evolution. Men and women are fundamentally different in what they're attracted to Women want you to not be a total scrub, while statistically still earning more. Men want you to not be a total scrub, while still being thin and not very out of shape. It's just the way people are made.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/11/18 03:12 PM
12

Yeah but the point is it's much easier for a woman with no job or significant debt to get a date or into a relationship than a man in a similar situation So it points out that, on average, women are mainly valued for looks/sex whereas men are valued for money/resources (of course there are exceptions to every generalization)

Because they want to get laid Men crave being physically wanted and desired and use money and resources towards that goal. Women are the ones who choose who to have sex with. Men think they can woo women (for sex) by showing off money/resources It's a tale as old as time and evolution

This is true. When you are alive, you aren't dead yet and when you are dead there's no "you" anymore so it doesn't matter and it'll be like the eons before you were born. Oh, you can be very successful and make everything of your life and still realize that reality is harsh. I don't think the two have a correlation Many men realize that that life is often uncaring towards them, that there is no objective meaning or purpose and that each person creates their own, and that's just how life is. Many women realize this too, but there's a key differenc in that they are less alone and lonely. I think the problem is that you are basing your worldview on a false egalitari…

Don't you see the female imperative is as natural and as much biology as TRP? Not sure what you mean by "mUh BiOlOgy". Do you agree with the idea that the human brain, and the traits that both genders find attractive, have been shaped by evolution and natural selection? How can anything escape the forces of biology? Sex IS as critical to women as men. But that doesn't men and women pursue the same sexual strategy in obtaining what they want. Women can and should have the right to pursue whatever…

What you don't understand is the context of biology and evolution. All people want to have sex, it a basic biological need. For reasons that are evolutionary in origin, women are much choosier in having sex than men. That's the way it's been since hunter gatherer times, and that's how it will continue to be. In modern society, where women are financially self secure, they can get as much sex as they want with whomever they choose (which wiill necessarily exclude many men). Similarly, most men ha…

Although statistically, many high status male doctors marry women who earn much less than them (e.g. nurses, teachers, secretaries, therapists, etc) High status women doctors statistically don't marry men who earn much less than them. So status (and more precisely, earning potential) plays a huge role in who women chose to date and marry. For women, I think the qualities of youth, beauty, exclusivity and empathy is perceived as high status by men.

Haha maybe you're projecting your bitterness? I'm in a perfectly happy relationship. However, that doesn't take away from the objective reality that women have it easier in dating. Most women can get sex and physical intimacy whenever they want. They don't need to be alone. Most men cannot, and experience loneliness in a way women cannot relate to. Both genders deal with a shitty life, but women have it easier in dating.

The big difference is everybody's life sucks to various extents, but as cynical as it sounds, you can get physical intimacy, and not be alone. whenever you want. Basically, it all boils down to sex (except sex, which is about power). Many men (and women) have lives that are a stinking pile of shit, and suffer through it. But the average man has the unique distinction in being truly alone in a way only a few women will experience. The two genders are fundamentally different in that sense.

Wall of text aside, women absolutely do have it easier in dating, which is kinda the point of this subreddit. Indeed, if a happy relationship = physical intimacy (sex) + emotion intimacy, then: (I) the average woman might struggle to get the latter but can get physical affection/intimacy any time with basically no effort (2) the average man gets nothing and is alone. So, objectively speaking, surely you realize that the average woman has it easier dating than the average man? It doesn't mean lif…

While I share a lot of your discomfort, one has to admit the data driven approach is equally valid and very powerful in certain cases. My point is, with the powerful modern stastical analysis tools, it's very possible to conclusively determine what variables are most critical with no apriori hypothesis. It's much easier for women to have sex with attractive men than vice versa, which is why men have to put all the time and effort into becoming high value. Well, I fundamentally disagree with you, because in my opinion, you have a wrong definition of "knowledge". The only definition that makes sense is in the empirical context. When you can objectively and independently experimentally verify a set of predictions, only then do we have knowledge in a scientific context. Most superstitious beliefs like belief in the afterlife, power of prayer are demonstrably false, and inconsistent with a scientific worldview. As a simply example, take belief in the …

Use your brain and treat each human being you encounter as unique and complex. Find people you admire and respect in real life to use as templates. The categorization of people into alpha beta whatever is very very flawed, and leads to misunderstandings and many errors. I lean RP, and partly agree with this. There are objective trends and some predicatability in sexual behavior across the genders, but there is also sufficient variation that each interaction can go in many complex ways. I think, …

By going beyond the anger phase. Sexual dimorphism and differences in mate choices is simply an outcome of evolutionary biology and natural selection. That's just how the world works. You can be horrified or upset by it. Or you can accept the reality AF/BB, and try to maximize your sexual strategy as a man with that knowledge, and try to minimize the risk of being BB.

Escaping death by not being indoctrinated into an unhappy beta provider role is being saved. After escaping this brainwashing one is gloriously free to live whatever life they want and are capable of, hopefully with fewer self-limiting mental obstacles. Absolutely agree. it's not a question of a happy, comforting belief, but one that is objectively true and supported by empirical evidence. Humans are subject to the same evolutionary forces that Bonobos are. Just because we have evolved a brain and conciousness doesn't mean we are immune to innate predispositions and biological drives. Indeed, the brain, and the resulting behaviors, traits, etc we find attractive has been strongly been shaped by evolution. It's not a question of "meaning" or how humans ought to function, but the reality of how they do. The reality that, at a population level, muscles, height, money , status and dom…

Ecactly right. Not God, but sexual dimorphism due to biological evoltion and natural selection. I don't necessarily think TRP is part of alt-right. Men and women are different; and are attracted to differen…

Yes, but the thing is, one of them had sex and the other didn't. That's the fundamental difference right there.

This is pretty interesting. I'm fairly RP, and in my BP days, one of the biggest things that annoyed me was the percieved "unfairness" in effort (I know better now, lol). I was quite (and still am) monogamous, and sunk a lot of time and effort chasing and showing interest in a single woman. In contrast, those women had tons of options and didn't have to put as much effort. So the combination of the percieved "unfairness" and figuring how unselective she was was an instant turn off. I just couldn…

Perhaps not from the very hot guys she pines for, but I'd bet money she'll get tons of attention from ordinary men who're in her league. As a woman, all it takes is to get attention is to not be fat, and have patience and putting yourself out there so you can be approached. For example, she just has to dress up, go to a bar, and wait. That's it, that's all the magic there is. She doesn't need to approach, initiate, make the clever/witty jokes, know when to escalate and when to back off, etc. etc…

The obvious answer is fat, or big facial deformities, and the like. Usually, the only women who're ignored by men are really fat, out of shape and unattractive. Even if her personality is very shy, introverted, as long as she's average/skinny, some guy out there is going to hit on her and ask her out. It's much harder to be a female omega than a male omega.

But if you actually like your current partner and didn't really like your last partner, my earlier point stands. Ka-ching! We have a winner! The key point to take away for guys lurking here is exemplified in this exchange: i.e., women will readily have sex with you the more muscular you are, even if they don't actually like you that much.

Men were much more attracted to their female friends than vice versa. Men were also more likely than women to think that their opposite-sex friends were attracted to them—a clearly misguided belief. In fact, men’s estima…

How do you think bisexual people make friends? They're attracted to people of both genders. Yes, but TRP doesn't describe their attraction, cause they are a statistical minority in an evolutionary sense. Given that TRP is about understanding that our desires were shaped largely by evolution and natural selection, it mainly applies to heterosexual relationships (which has resulted in biological reproduction). How bisexual attraction, gay/lesbian attraction, were selected for are all fascinating q…

On the contrary, the burden of proof is on you. Human beings have evolved over hundreds of thousands of years, and our cues of what we find attractive has been tremendously shaped by evolution and natural selection. Well, I totally disagree with you. Statistically speaking, women value dominance, assertiveness, money & status in men a lot. Men value youth, beauty, charm, passiveness, femininity, etc. much more. For the same physical appearance, the shy, passive, kind-hearted, emotional man is most certainly more likely to be "an incel" than a loud, aggressive, cocky, arrogant man. So, it's still a crap shoot for men or women. Absolutely true. But atleast the woman's had experience of relationships, dating and sex with attractive men (when they were younger). Hmm, very fair and interesting point... Although, I'd still bet if you take the same fat woman who gets messages online, and look at guys hitting her up in real life, it will probably be way less than online. Online, when there's no judgement and social stigma, and the supply/demand market for sex is driven by thirsty desperate men, then a fat woman has a higher SMV in that context (compared to real life i.e.).
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/16 06:39 AM

Right idea, although needs a word of warning. Tinder (and online dating in general), massively inflates a woman's SMV, because of the supply/demand for sex and physical intimacy. Even fat women get plenty of messages on dating apps.

It's a fine balance. A healthy sex life with an attractive woman is an important part of life, and indeed one of the most important biological drives that evolution has bestowed upon us. Downplaying that aspect as carnal is denying our nature and what makes us human, something I ised to do alot when I was BP. Of course, we also have evolved a brain that allows us to make decisions independent of our primal drives. So it's a really fine balance. We need to accept the nature of "the chase" so to s…

Yeah, but well we're guys, so it's easier for us to see this, cause we live through it. Basically, when compared to a man of equivalent attractiveness, women do just need to make themselves available, keep themselves attractive (i.e. not fat), and screen for the right man. If an ability for unconditional love is about personality, don't you think, that education tells more about it, then looks. No, I don't think it does. Neither does looks either. Men usually actively put the effort into chasing, dating and maintaining attraction. i.e, they're the ones who have to plan activities, watch her response, know when to escalate, etc. It's more of a cause/effect thing. Yes, of course she's entitled to her opinion. But, based on the the other posts in this thread, she's most probably wrong with her opinion. It's also very amusing how she assumes and blames the man's SMV (despite statements to the contrary), instead of even entertaining the idea that gasp, the guy might have a point after all. It's also a very mild example of a technique called "gaslighting" (i.e, defined as "manipulating people into questioning their own perceptions"). That is, by dismissing th…

No, that type of entitlement does not make someone shoot innocent people. Elliot Rodgers had mental issues, which probably needed medical treatment. But, every person who desires sex & human companionship should be given encouragement and those who earnestly try but fail, our empathy. As I said, this mocking mentality is exactly why such people flock to the redpill for self betterment, because irrespective of the morals, TRP gives advice that works and is effective.

Of course, but on average, there are number of studies that show how biology plays a huge role in our social interactions, with strong indications that it even supercedes environmental and cultural influences (via twin studies, etc.) Women do act on biology a lot. as do men. That's human nature, we're all slaves to our genes at the end of the day, although we can and should actively rebel against it
/r/PurplePillDebate31/01/16 04:54 PM
5

I disagree, there a lot of studies that shows such behavior is nearly universal across cultures, and they suggest that these traits (i.e. those men and women are attracted to) is sexually dimorphic because it has been selected for by evolution. There's an excellent book by the respected biologist E.O. Wilson called 'On Human Nature' that goes into more detail that I highly recommend.

Not even close to the same extent. The opposite of dominant isn't a doormat but passive and accepting. For example, women statistically dont take the lead in organizing dates, taking initiative, asserting, etc. They are passive, feminine, emotional and rely heavily on looks. Men and women are attracted to different traits (although as always there are exceptions)
/r/PurplePillDebate31/01/16 04:23 PM
4

Treating women as cabaple intelligent individuals acting in their self-interest indeed works. Treating women identically as you would men doesn't. There are fundamental biological differences between men and women, and therefore on average, each gender is attracted to certain traits that are sexually dimorphic. For example, this is why being dominant, assertive and confident as a man is so much more important than the other way around.

For white men I'm suspecting that they really don't have a huge racial preference and are probably not exclusively targeting Asian women. As the famous okcupid study showed, there's definitely a racial hierarchy in dating preferences, with Asian Men and Black Women being least preferred. Could be a number of reasons (cultural, nutrition, biological, sociological, etc.), but there's no denying the hard reality that those two groups have it demonstrably worse in the dating game.

It's okay to sleep around for whatever reason you want. The point is, as a woman it's easy. It requires no skill for a woman to sleep around other than being average/moderately good looking. It's true we are all getting older every day, but hot women will happily sleep with older men as long as they get other things out of it (status, wealth, commitment, etc). For men on the other hand, it's predominantly based on looks. That's why mid 30s women who partied all their lives and have now lost their looks have it rough if they're looking for commitment. Yes, but there's biological differences which makes the genders differently predisposed to share this information... Crudely speaking, for women, there's a negative selection pressure if she goes around telling everyone she's casually slept with multiple men short-term, because this is going to reduce her chance of commitment and finding a mate who is willing to commit his resources and time to support her family and raising the kids. As I said, the problem with the N count is usally when an average woman casually sleeps out of her league, but then tries to settle for a relationship once her looks begin to fade and she can't get easy sex anymore.

Less attractive women are still having casual sex with men out of their league. The problem is that these women don't sleep in their league. While I agree they can't get relationships with them, even the fat, low SMV women can still get casual sex from an average-ish to 7+ SMV guy with minimal effort if he's drunk/horny enough. So, there's a clear gender imbalance in the casual sex marketplace.

You need to understand that it's not the same for men and women and if you do apply that to your thinking. Exactly, everything you say is correct, but women also need to understand that it's not the same for women and men and apply it to their thinking as well. For example, for a women to be a slut is easy, it requires no effort. TRP doesn't make a moral judgement on her character. If she enjoys sex and only wants to sleep around, good for her, we hope she's happy. People are free to do what the…

Tinder sure works for men wanting short term sexual engagement and nobody shames men for using Tinder, Craigslist, etc. Not BP, not your regular people, not even feminists. No. Tinder typically works for most women and and only the top ~ 20-30% of men. There are a number of threads on this, but the online dating marketplace is heavily biased so most average women have way more options and an easier time than equivalent men. TRP tells the average men how to improve himself so he can use tinder wi…

This is where it goes against common morality ... trying to game the system. I totally disagree. Why? What is this "common morality" and why does internalizing the traits that allow short-term mating with willing women somehow going against common morality? How is it "gaming the system"? If men want something (i.e, short-term relationships), and adapt behavior that allow them to sucesfully attain that, why should it be shamed instead of deserving respect?

Abortion is a gender issue, because it really only affects the health of one gender. I agree that abortion certainly involves gender issues, but to call it only a gender issue and that it only affects the health of one gender is not right, because as the previous poster mentioned, at the heart of the issue is a debate of what human life is and when it begins, which is gender netural. I think it's because TRP generally applies to the statistical mean of the population +/- sigma (i.e, ~ 70% of the population). Here, the context of the discussion is straight, heterosexual women. But, aren't the terms of the debate are dictated by the facts and the evidence, and not by the feels? When BPers find facts and how reality works offensive and upsetting, what's one to do? In my opinion, I'll go ahead and claim that most RP replies link to studies, evidence etc. to support their claims, while most BP replies (with a few notable exceptions) resort to a sarcastic, mocking tone and focus on outliers, while ignoring the linked studies.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/08/15 03:14 PM

I doubt that the Indian women that you are mentioning who have a history with dating white men have a personality similar to yours I highly doubt this. What you don't realize is that the political spectrum has an ordinate in addition to the abscissa. Left wing vs right wing is only one axis in the spectrum. I agree with all this, with the single caveat that certain sets of practices are much more effective than others. i.e, one can decide not to use makeup and do whatever they want, but the reality and the fact that you will see from experience is that women with make up are generally more attractive. No, I think you'll find people (& most men) do generally celebrate sexual women, for that particular aspect of their character (i.e, their short-term sexual availability). That is, things like the long 9 months gestation period, etc. Because, our needs are a direct evolutionary outcome that have been shaped by these biological realities over billions of years. Just "switching" genders & behavior for the whole population can't happen without going back billions of years and altering evolution. And then, the labels will be switched but the behavior will still be identical.

Much of the theory of The Red Pill is absurd and dehumanizing. It is a framework or lens that asks adherents to view me as a lesser being because of immutable characteristics rather than my achievements, personality, preferences, or choices But, people are predictable. If I know that someone was born in one of the southern states, loves Nascar, supports the army, goes to church every Sunday, is against gay marriage, then I can confidently predict they'll almost certainly vote republican. there is one of the many places where me and TRP disagree and why I wont identify as a red piller. See, I agree whole-heartedly with what you say, but the reason TRP disagrees with you is not because your expectation is objectively wrong (in fact, it's perfectly reasonable and correct), but that reality doesn't work that way. Because of human nature and biology, women are not going to chase men because they are the gender that controls access to sex. Men desire sex more than women (and all relat…

My problem comes in when people are treated as less-than because they're not found attractive I just want to be treated with respect, and I'll extend that same courtesy to others. One would think that a fat person would entice possible partners due to the implicit evolutionary idea that they know how to accrue resources and provide for a family. But as the ancient saying goes, "no fatties". On the other hand, there is an incredibly strong long-term causal relationship between being fat and the onset of early mortality, diseases, and lack of health (i.e., biological risks), which might easily offset any short-term resource gain (environmental benefits) ...

The point of all this is as a RP man, is understanding the reality of social interactions between men and women. You have to realize that there are always exceptions to every sociological theory, even TRP. This is because, TRP correctly points out that social interactions between men and women are shaped by evolutionary biology. "Always better the hard truth, I say, than the comforting fantasy." The reality is that social interactions between men and women doesn't happen in a vaccum. Lucky ones? Are you fucking insane? The poor bastard would be infinitely happier alone instead of having such a girlfriend. He's got too little self esteem and is too bluepill to realize the sex isn't worth this abuse. If he's really lucky, he'll walk away and put and end to this tragedy.

Maryam totally deserves this award. Make no mistake, she got the Fields medal based on the quality and brilliance of her work, not just because she's a woman. The mathematics community is notoriously meritocracy based. Her brilliance was obvious even in school (for example, gold medal in the international math olympiad with a perfect score). There's a great interview that has a nice quote from her However, I should say that the education system in Iran is not the way people might imagine here. A…

Honestly, it really makes me sad for the 20-something me. Like all that work I did on myself to be a better person, to be knowledgeable and well-read was a giant waste of time (then), because no one really gave a shit. I could have been a fucking crack whore and cheated on all them and gotten away with it. That's fascinating because that right there shows why she (and perhaps many women) fundamentally miss the point of TRP. That it's to make yourself better and happier, independent of what other…

Classic example of women slut shaming other women instead of dealing with cold hard facts. The real question should be, are women posting sexy photos on social media objectively less competent? As one example, if you objectively evaluate the competence of young women graduate students in academia (by say, a metric like number of papers published vs number of sexy social media photos), I'm sure you'll find a very strong inverse correlation. I bet you'll find the same thing using any objective met…

I'm as redpill as the next person, but this is a strange question, because of course there are women who have contributed tremendously to science and technology. You have to remember that most men AND women do not make major innovations in their lives. They live, eat and die. It's only a select few who have the combination of luck, skill and hard work to make a lasting impact. Yes, historically many of them have been men, for evolutionary and sociological reasons. There are more men at either en…

I disagree. If you have a rough idea of how many girls you pull a year, you can easily extrapolate over your dating window to get a good estimate. In fact, personally I think this strategy completely explains "alpha fucks beta bucks". Let's say women enter the marriage market at 18 and their biological window closes at about 45 when menopause starts becoming an issue. That gives a time period of 27 years in the market. 36.7 percent of 27 is 10 years. So, probabilistically their best strategy is …

That only works if you have a list of all girls you'll ever date and you're working your way down it. Not quite. It works, if you have an estimate of the total number of girls you'll ever date (and this needs to be large). Also, you're not working your way "down" as much as meeting them in random order. Think of it this way: there are 100 girls you want to date in a year, you date them in random order, and one of them is the best. The probability that the best girl is the first one you meet is 1…

This is actually called the marriage problem, and the solution is really simple. Assuming that you date a lot of girls (which is always a good idea), and that you want nothing but the best, then your winning move is as follows: Reject the first 36.8% of the girls you date however good you think they are, but in mind who you feel is the best of them (let's call her Katie). Then, after the first 36.8%, if you meet someone who's better than Katie, then she's the one you want and settle with. This m…

I would rather know the truth about reality, however unappealing it is, than live in a reassuring but deluded fantasy world. The fact someone stole her is because you didn't truly care and were disingenuous throughout the relationship. Or, because she felt attracted to some other guy and decided to have sex with him. live that meaningless life Life is meaningless anyway. Any meaning you invent is completely artificial. Might as well be having sex with hot women in your short time on earth, instead of being a nice "friend" who's shoulder she cries on before she goes out and fucks another dude.

Also, notice that they still pick the relatively decent looking ones. PhD or not, those models are still not fat, have symmetric facial features, etc. Those models are still by and large attractive women who happen to have a PhD. With a large enough sample size (population of ~ 6 billion), statistically improbable events happen all the time. Things like this are the exceptions, not the rule. I'm sure there are a few odd million people punching above their weight, and a few million punching well below. For the average guy though, it's highly improbable that he'll be able to hook up with some hot blonde if he's not of the same level.

It's incredible, Richard Dawkins is the man, telling it like it is. Amazing how many of my fellow non-religious friends are so bluepill though. It's like they selectively interpret parts of reality that are convenient to them, instead of trying to understand the way the world actually is.

Science is concerned with evidence of repeatable, testable hypotheses. Not everything in the universe, nor every question about the nature of existence can be addressed by the scientific method. Dismissing all other forms of inquiry because you only accept one form of inquiry would seem to necessitate an incomplete look into the nature of existence. I agree with large parts of that, but my major beef is that religion is too convenient. It's the ultimate BluePill. What do I mean by this? For exam…

I think it's mainly because it's not scientific. Religion is just one big rationalization hamster about existential fears. I even think its telling that women tend to be statistically more religious than men (i.e, because their neurobiology makes them more prone to hamstering) Considering how evolutionary ideas are such a big part of TRP, it's not surprising to find many atheists here.

This is where the challenge to some of what I've seen on TRP comes in. She said to me, and to her friend, that "we're not having sex". I was uncomfortable giving up control to her but I wasn't sure what to say so I just jokingly went with it. Once we were walking home alone I said "so seeing as you don't want to have sex I'm going to go home". Figured at this point that me giving up control to her had nuked it, but she asked me to come over and "cuddle". (LOL). What challenge? It's following the…

I found it helpful to sort by "newly joined". As always, the high SMV ones are rarely single for long and get snapped up pretty soon, so what you usually see are the rest with an inflated sense of SMV cause they keep getting messages/hit on. The newly joined women don't realize their inflated SMV yet and are much less picky and open to meeting over a date.

Here's the thing: don't preach on facebook because it sounds like whining and people will believe you are bitter and that only lowers value. Trying to "spark some controversy" sounds suspiciously like attention seeking/validation behavior. If I were you, I'd delete facebook, just head out and talk to people in bars, join some hobby club, etc. There was an excellent post recently on how the only thing you should be using facebook for is pictures of you doing awesome things.

Religious beliefs are totally unscientific and demonstrably false, whereas TRP bases it's arguments on evidence of social interactions in the real word (for example, including evolutionary ideas, many of which religions including Islam reject outright). So, there's a world of difference.

The time I thought about my past relations with women was the moment I realized the truth to TRP. Absolutely, stumbling across TRP has made my life so much happier, and every previous interaction just makes complete sense and clicks into place. You guys are incredible, you have no idea how much the quality of my life and self-worth has gone up. I've been improving myself and learning skills the previous me would never have even imagined.

Look, the best way to see the validity of any hypothesis is to independently test it. Why don't you go and try out some of the things you read in TRP during social interactions in real life, and let us know how it works out for you? TRP doesn't say anything normative at all about how you ought to act. It just describes that women are attracted to a certain type of behavior. What someone does with that information is entirely up to them. You can try to improve your intrinsic worth by getting better at some valuable skill, or you can do the stuff the pick-up community advocates (negging, push-pull, etc.), or you can be a MGTOW, or whatever. At the end of the day, TRP is simply a collection of facts about social interactions a…

I've thought about this a lot recently. But is it not inevitable of today's society to produce women who behave this way? This is basically among the central consequences behind the principles that TRP points out. I think the big one is that women aren't encouraged to have children young any more and instead pursue careers, basically they're not encouraged to be women. I agree this is a core TRP concept, but personally, I think that women can pursue careers, and still be feminine. To me, the bas…

Look, that's a stupid comment, and this is why the TRP gets flak. Instead, it's perfectly possible to be a good father to a daughter, instill in her a set of moral values and the teach her the realities of the world. In her teenage years, inculcate her curiosity and passion in science, the arts, the natural world, etc. Help her develop interesting hobbies, go hiking together, explore and show her the world and how it works. You don't have to change who you are deep down I strongly disagree with this, for one particular reason. Given the realities of the social interactions between men and women, it's not about being ethical/unethical, but understanding the nature of the sexual marketplace. Given this reality, there are certain strategies which are very effective to attract women. In all probability, "nice", "empathetic", "caring" guys, who spend a lot of their time on satisfying the emotional needs of women need to…

Unfortunately, that's not how it works. I had literally exactly the same experience that you described, down to a T, and that's how I found the TRP as well. Any decently attractive woman has absolutely tons of men complimenting/hitting on them. As a result, they grow used to this and are entitled to this attention. I mean, it's much much easier for an attractive woman to get attention/sex; that's just the reality of human interactions. It's not their fault at all, it's just a consequence of biol…

That's interesting... I wonder if there's an evolutionary reason? For younger men, there's a strong evolutionary selection pressure; so any set of genes which cause these abnormalities in younger fathers is swamped out by the larger number of "normal genes". But, there are fewer men who have kids when they are older, so there's less selection pressure. After all, these defects happen in the same genes only after a certain age, so the younger kids are all fine and continue to carry the genes whic…

I was in a similar position not too long ago (in my mid twenties now). The best thing I can say is: Find out what you really care about in life and get really really good at it. If you have the money, then travel as much as you can ... go hiking; learn new outdoor skills; learn to ski or scuba dive, etc. Or, if you're the academic type, enroll in a program and be the best at it. It's not a question of morality, it's a question of evolutionary biology. The basic premise is that, (i) our behavioral response in social situations has been directed to some extent by evolutionary pressures. (ii) Women have MUCH MUCH easier access to sex. Therefore, to make sure they only have sex with the highest quality men, there are certain characteristics they are almost universally attracted to (i.e, dark triad traits, dominance, high wealth) and very specific behavioral cues they employ…

But lets say a girl enters the conversation that he finds attractive he switches to be demeaning towards me to obviously try to look dominant and elevate his status. You need a better friend. He's probably been burned previously by his behavior, so he tries to overcompensate, but he doesn't realize that men can see through such things. I had a short friend who tried to compensate by being over aggressive like this; his entire demeanor instantly switches when there's a girl around and he tries so…

The sad thing is, my behavior was identical to "Ted" a year ago; it's disgusting how pathetic I used to be when I look back. Also, seeing the exact same scenario, one that I thought happened only to me, keep occurring with such startling and predictable regularity in social interactions, helps maintain my current frame and new found knowledge. You can always go to college later IF you ever want to, but you can never get back your physical prime. But, you'll never get back your "mental" prime either... For example, people go to college also to learn stuff for its own sake (because learning things, like science, is very rewarding in itself). The older you get, the harder it is to make a meaningful contribution as your mental ability declines. I think college is essential. Not only does it improve your market value, but it allows you to …
