Slow cooking is the best. Ovens are good too. I just peel and dice potatoes, carrots, onions, garlic, chicken meat, peppers, tomatoes, etc, on an oiled deep oven pan, put maybe a a quarter inch of water, salt and spices, some broth, and put it in the oven for a while. Mix around a bit every 10 min until the hardest veggies can be pierced with a fork and the chicken ain't red inside. This way you can prepare a lot of tasty and healthy grub.
