lockdowns started in 2020, the report where sexlesness jumped 10% for men but only 4% for women was done between 2016-2018. How is this possible at a otherwise roughly 50/50 gender ratio?

lol Jim Crow, long after the federal goverment banned outright systemic discrimination, lived in the attitudes and unofficial social rules that pertained the south: one of them was the rule that a black guy should never look at a white woman in the eyes or that he should cross the street if he saw a white woman coming to avoid 'discomforting' her. This is just expected for ugly males these days.

im sorry, but in practice this is a double standard, no one really asks for consent when they’re looking, glancing, checking out a stranger — this is a precedent and it didn’t (at least up until now) pass under definition of sexual harassment which required repeated propositions. what youre asking is that in practice we have a sort of separate standard if we get checked out by someone we find appealing its wanted and you’re flattered—, if not —Creepy harasser, basically a Jim Crow lite for a rig…

its women here who will make you simultaneously believe the wall at 30 is a misogynistic myth( it really is tho), yet somehow men over 30 are easily discernible because look they look distinctly crusty and old.

male sexless on the rise and the explanation we get is that they’re not good enough for women anymore, that women are independent, make bank, don’t have to settle for average schmucks like they did in the past. This is not some obscure theory in the dark corners of the net, its what psychologists and other “experts” are saying.

you relied on your argument having popular support, nothing else, which just shows you adherence to current, present-day attitudes. Contextually this is another "moral panic" brewing where a bothersome "Other" gets replaced with another more socially acceptable scapegoat every 30 years: "blacks out there raping our women" "homos out there grooming our kids" "old dudes perving on women" "othering" is what you're essentially doing, and it is based on race, sex, sexuality, disabilities, now even lo…

i like how not even a week ago this sub was calling men “paranoid” for saying that even approaching a woman can backfire because she can just pull out her phone and post your face online calling you a creep. users here insisted this was not a realistic fear but rather a “incel fantasy”. Today Im reading justifications for it.

If she says “no” you walk away and leave her alone. You don’t follow her and stare at her. "this creepo approached me but fled just before I started recording him"

most of us aren't gay and if the feeling of gay men glancing at straight guys is comparable in this case are women "Chadsexual"? Beside the point: if it were a older gay dude looking at me because he thought I was cute and attractive I would be less threatened than if some guys were eyeballing me like they want to start a fight or rob me.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/23 04:12 PM
12

secretly sexualizing someone in public is inherently creepy. If you're attractive you aren't doing it in a creepy, secret way. You're showing your intentions expecting a response *approaches woman and asks her out* "wow thats so weird I mean I even don't know you and to think about you just approached me because you find me attractive is so objectifying"

next week “this creepo said hello to me on the subway” PDD spinsters “If you fail to see why saying hello to a woman just going about her day is weird makes you the creep”

“just don’t do it like a creep” people underestimate how subjective and subject to the halo effect their perception is.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/23 03:29 PM

no different than the discomfort heterosexual men would feel about openly gay men making advances at them. TIL: straight women don't see unattractive men as real men.

lol no. “woke” are prime example of this schizoid attitude they are simultaneously “her body her choice, bigot!” yet are wish to remote manage adult women’s decisions when it doesn’t suit them.

that is why you shouldn’t listen to 3rd party outside observers judging whats “cringe” or not , especially when they’re terminally online women. Who knows maybe your mom and dad’s cute “how we met” story could have major creeper vibes to someone else.

you’ll get aids and your bumhole ripped is what my dad believed homosexual men were “gambling away” by being gay. 😂
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/23 07:38 PM
2

what you’re doing is pedo- baiting, a tactic that has been commonly used against gay men since the 1950s by all sorts of far right conservative ideologes: even in the 1990s homosexuality was explained as involving homosexuals preying on young people to recruit them till this day, even fucking DeSantis does this lol… funny how womens brains at 18 are considered mature enough to obtain a drivers license and operate a 4500pund deadly vehicle but not date older men. lmao
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/23 07:13 PM

neither was homosexuality or interracial dating socially “acceptable” long after the federal government removed legal restrictions on it. but I thought progressives fought against prejudice?

these are the same people who believe in the whole “her body her choice” . Don’t get me wrong I do to, but its hilarious progressives getting meltdowns when women choose older men.

/r/PurplePillDebate24/11/23 02:17 PM

self improvement is becoming a toxic advice. Unless you're a obese neckbeard that doesn't wash and stares at womens feet at a anime convention, its a distraction to keep you guessing what is wrong with you and that you're never good enough.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/11/23 02:13 PM

women date 2-4 years older, this would mean the study would need more than half of its 20something female respondents to be at leats 27 years old. Are you seriously suggesting a serious study would have such a uneven age sample size and wouldn't let us know that?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/11/23 02:09 PM

Do you think women do not go through similar experiences and periods of time without romantic intimacy? factually No.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/11/23 01:53 PM

more than 60% of women have wider hips than waist only 14% of men are 6ft or higher. There is no comparison.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/23 10:47 PM

if you didn’t have a pussy you making a pass at what would be a platonic friend would be seen as textbook nice guy move that usually leaves the female friend feeling betrayed.

women want a guy who looks like he is capable of knocking someone out for them, it turns them on, sadly , like with most things the guy capable of roughing someone up for you comes with a price.

I actually did and “shooting your shot” is not a remnant of patriarchal customs but sexual revolution era slang which casualness ran against taboos around sex held by previous generations, “shootibg your shot” is boomer slang from the free love zeitgeist that has more to do with the casualness of sex where only mutual consent should count independent whether family, church, religion says the romantic encounter is moral or not — in this context “shooting ones shot” means asking for consent (date,…

what’s you’re arguing for is complete neoliberal deregulation, a free market that will, like every other free market left unchecked, inevitably produce immense inequalities: men who have sex frequently with several different women those who never have sex despite trying. Amazing how women usually advocate and benefit from egalitarian intervention in every other sphere, except this one, here they suddenly sound like Murray Rothbrad

I didn't say a word on tits or arses. you are in a thread about it. Why are you even responding to a thread that is clearly about height and tit preferences? Your "people just like pretty thing deal with it" response is like a someone trying to classify a crime scene which clearly has a specific nature with a "bad people did bad thing" , well no shit Sherlock.

I have a tall gorgeous blonde friend who has absolutely been passed over due to lack of assets. When the two of us hang out it's understood that she gets the leg guys and I get the boob guys. lol this is why the issue is incomparable: women get to have their leg guys, ass-guys, boob-guys, even feet-guys there are no such diverse preferences among women which would substitute the tall and handsome for other traits.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/10/23 06:20 PM
3

What's the deal with men and body count preferences? what's the deal with men judging women by their character and not a single immutable physical trait?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/10/23 06:04 PM
4

they are numerically, quantitatively, statistically not "similiar" requirements in any way. Only 15% of men pass as what is considered tall by women these says, meanwhile women have a pool of men who split into ass-lovers and boob-lovers, and some men don't even want those big, but perky and petite.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/10/23 06:00 PM
1

they want to rip all the social benefits of modern progressive feminism while keeping the patriarchal "lizard brain" preferences intact.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/10/23 05:54 PM

"Men will pay me money so they can have sex with me, but some guys wont because of my boob size" while some men have trouble attracting a single partner because of their height is not the shared struggle you think it is.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/10/23 05:46 PM

prolonged eye contact (3-5sec) coupled with a smile from a stranger girl my age? invitation to talk or no?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/10/23 02:34 PM
7

If an action is welcome it’s not harassment, if it’s unwelcome, then it is unless you're on a dating app, you can't really obtain consent without bothering the person first. Approaching is asking whether she will agree to something more -- it is asking for consent -- women who fail to understand this are like anti-social neurotics having meltdowns because someone attempted small talk without asking them for explicit consent to talk about the weather today... this is not how the world works.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/10/23 01:54 PM
19

it’s called reading a room one woman's flirting is another ones just being nice. There is a endless amount of threads discussing the confusion where women either complain about men being so thick they're unable to get 'obvious' hints like prolonged eye contact, smiling and laughing at their bad jokes, and women saying men constantly confuse these for interest when they're just being their bubbly selves, but in actuality go silent and avoid eye contact with the guy they like.

But a genuine connection, this is pure projection: the connection women want is with very attractive men as well, the "men are pigs who'd fuck anything" post-rationale comes at the realization that those desired men have side-"hoes" and aren't picking you to stick around.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/10/23 11:38 AM
30

If looks get your foot in the door, but personality, shared values and interests makes one stick around is true like women here say -- then passing the "Sure, I'd sleep with her" threshold still means you have much better chances for something more to develop than a guy who gets immediately shut down with a "I just don't see you that way" response from a woman and where the door for anything more has been shut air-tight.

And in university, it was learning to approach the opposite sex, I feel a lot of you people are terminally online sheltered middle class neurotics. "High school is for making friends, college is where you learn to approach the opposite sex" -- are you for real? why isn't this line of reasoning ever used when a 55 year old man compliments a 25 year old woman?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/10/23 10:54 PM
-2

if you are younger and compliment a guy he thinks youre interested in him, what fucked up logic is that? I NEVER compliment STRANGER women on LOOKS that I have ZERO interest in. Not because they'd interpret it as 'flrity' or a 'sign of interest', but because it is a sign of interest.

“we know you want to fuck us but could you at least pretend you like the band we listens to”
/r/PurplePillDebate19/10/23 04:28 PM

there are many men who follow that advice just to get routinely friendzoned and accused of weasley nice guy tactics. And when someone is looking for a romantic partner its dishonest to pretend you’re just there to “expand your platonic social circle”.

where I work women have fucked and had affairs with customers before. There are no hard written rules around this one. People meet, flirt and hookup in all sorts of places. You’re just a terminally online person with an early onset of brainrot.

unironically more women would get “uncomfortable” and “creeped out” if an old guy on a wheelchair was hitting on them and not the 6ft4 NBA Stud who literally has the physical capabilities to hulk smash them into the pavement. Stop with this “were afraid because ur stronger” argument.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/23 09:45 PM

indicative of danger? women have less problem dating violent thugs but immediately get “icks” with aspie men.

that is a niche subculture, but in reality there are social expectations for men to lead. That is why even awkward women count on getting saved by a socially competent man. it fits existing gender roles.

these days women are increasingly aware they are getting pumped and dumped by top % of men, so what do they do? Choose celibacy over having to compromise over a mans looks and hotness… that’s how I read it.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/10/23 02:19 PM

it's probably even worse these days, yes.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/10/23 12:20 PM

“they thought they were too ugly for you!” this almost reads like more reasons for men to pursue and not to accept “no” for an answer🤣.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/10/23 11:36 AM

women are only expected to look good relative to the man they’re dating. of course the short chubby chick aiming for the gymbros will be “insecure” , she will be insecure because she deep down knows she doesn’t want a unfit chubby guy herself and now competes with fit women for the attention of fit men.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/10/23 11:03 AM

this just shows they really do aim for guys way out if their league.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/10/23 10:54 AM

i don’t want to “race bait” but as a asian guy I see tall bearded white guys usually steal a girls attention every time over me. So yeah, i’m not competing against “models” but tall white guys in cargo pants. Just a observation.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/10/23 10:33 AM

I consider women on reddit to be quite fringe, usually they're feminists/sex worker/ bisexual and have a penchant for "alternative" guys. I live in the real world tho, and believe me the average woman out here isn't attracted to skinny asian guys with 2block haircuts (I am one).
/r/PurplePillDebate13/10/23 08:42 PM
13

if you develop an interesting style you will stand out. I much prefer men who dress well than men who wear jeans and a stained tee shirt but that’s just me. it really is just you, because a tall guy in a plain shirt and jeans will catch more women's attention than than anyone neatly dressed.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/10/23 08:08 PM

I sometimes put a conservative amount of bb cream on my face, usually no one even notices, but women who noticed it will absolutely try to dunk on this and question your masculinity. In men they want this "roll out of the bed" attractive, enhancements are seen a feminine and therefore an "ick".

Autistic people when they're told that most people can actually read body language "ur just an autist🤓" cheap comeback as expected here, while studies actually show that people really are bad at detecting flirting, it also turns out the average person is worse at decrypting signs of interest that they thought they are.

“work on yourself and the right one will come one day” are what bluepillers are telling young men… these guys then think they are never good enough to deserve a relationship start hitting their 30s single and with little experienced just to get eyeballed and called dirty old men by the people who told them to wait.

what is being a “mature man “ anyway? this isn’t the 1950s anymore and if we dot get to shame unmarried women over 25 as used up whores and call kids born out of wedlock bastards, what businesses do modern women have calling men as “lagging behind” or being “immature” if they themselves don’t conform to traditional roles anymore?

It works for most people. You are minorities it at least works for normie looking people, for those who are by conventional standards unattractive, especially unattractive men, building all these over-lapping social circles will make you "Bob who is a great guy and makes everyone laugh, but is somehow still single"
/r/PurplePillDebate06/10/23 07:15 PM

female friends regularly and actually making an intention to enjoy just that… “hanging out.” ---- then once down this road where platonic comfort has been built go ahead and ask her out, or make a pass, and see yourself become known as the guy who tried to weasel in her pants through the back door instead of being upfront about it.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/10/23 07:11 PM

that is not only why social circles are bad to approach, they're a "don't shit where you eat" situation as you only have so many friends and acquaintances before you get the reputation of being 'that guy' who hit on her, got friendzoned, and now tries it with her friends as well -- enough women are already complaining that their male buddies/acquaintances would fuck them given half the chance, and you only have so many friends and acquaintances before you run out of options and become "that guy"…

In fact, I often look at couples in the wild and wonder how it happened you just overrate women or downrate men in the relationship. Women are especially cruel when it comes to this. I remember a time (before korean dramas became a thing in the west) how most white women viewed asian men, no matter how handsome their faces might have been, as not real men or asexual nerds.

its so bizarre listening to women on reddit do this average men complains about not getting any -- its because he's a shallow horndog that doesn't understand women really crave for depth, connection, emotional bonding, sex is just a cherry on top. women getting caught picking the hunkiest of hunks for casual sex -- we love having sex with attractive people too, incel! We are not that different from men stop shaming us for liking sex we're only human like you.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/09/23 03:07 PM

can get sex at any time as long as they don't care about actually enjoying it. I mean but this is a situation women get themselves into -- they will openly admit since all men are "bad" they might as well just pick the physically more attractive ones for casual sex. No one is forcing them to have bad sex with handsome men, yet they themselves still do it.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/09/23 03:01 PM

outside virtue signaling chambers like reddit and twitter, single ladies hooking up or having situationships when they're "officially single" is nothing new or uncommon.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/09/23 02:47 PM

I really hate how these people retort with "women aren't as thirsty" yet these women still have more sex than the average single man.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/09/23 02:38 PM

keep in mind we're talking "happily single" women in general here, not your fringe tumblrina asexual lifestyle.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/09/23 02:35 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate18/09/23 02:33 PM

So because men are desperate and thirsty stop with this 19century Victorian BS. Women aren't at all that different from men here. What separates happily single ladies from incels is that these women can usually quench the thirst for intimacy by loging onto Tinder and choosing some handsome guy to have a (even if short) affair with. The average single men however cannot count on Tinder for either something serious or much less hookups.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/09/23 02:21 PM

social media, dating apps have completely dispelled this supposedly 'complex' attraction you claim women to have. Clear patterns emerge when you pile up enough data about what type of men women feel "the spark" for. Its not 'complex' at all.

This girl seems very clear about wanting to be just friends. on what fucking planet is a guy asking you "when does your shift end" upon which you agree to spend the evening together and spend it till 3am "just platonic" -- will women be giving the same benefit of a doubt to a guy in a relationship pulling this one with a hot young woman?
/r/PurplePillDebate15/09/23 01:12 PM

what is the "innitial treshold" it seems like its still limited to 'conventionally very attractive' man, because women will also say they have no reason to compromise or settle for a guy that isn't the whole package since this isn't the 1950s anymore.

homosexuality is not the same as age gap relationships age gap relationships were never cool. 300 hundred years ago if you were a homosexual you were hanged, drowned and quartered. 200 years ago, if you were a homosexual, you were hanged. 150 years ago, if you were homosexual, you were flogged and put into prison. 100 years ago, if you were homosexual, you were fined or sent to psych ward. 50 years ago, being homosexual was still considered a mental disorder. Being gay wasn't cool either.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/09/23 05:01 PM

what is funny is just how similar arguments of anti-age gap rabble rousers sound to those of homophobes of the 1990s and early 2000s. We all remember how the christian hard-right used to bring up the moral case against same sex couples: they said it may be legal but its still "morally wrong" to seek to date someone of your own sex. Then it was the accusation that homosexual are recruiting via "grooming" young men into the "gay lifestyle" -- thus depriving them of a normal heterosexual developmen…

The common advice here goes that men should stop seeking women for potential relationship prospects, but get to know them 'as people' first. Well... if a mans intent is to date women then taking this route by definition includes 'orbiting' her in hopes for something more to develop.

with white girls? Absolutely! Most of them grow out of it. This 'feminine men are taking over' craze has been cyclical with the past few generations, but almost always limited to teen girls. I remember 15 years ago a band being popular in europe called Tokio Hotel pubescent girls went crazy for them. The guys were really lanky and pretty in a delicate sense. Well... by the time this generation turned 18-19 they were back to liking conventionally handsome manly men.

ok, but why is "le hornier sex" getting less sex than women?

doesn't explain the discrepancy in interracial dating where you have a lot more white guys dating or being open to date asian women, but white women into asian men are much more rare.

When the last time you saw, or heard of a female beauty/sex icon with a larger more prominent jaw, and overall angular face shape, What are you talking about? Women with strong angular jawlines dominate the film and fashion industry. woman's preferences for male faces vary a lot based on subjective taste. A countless number of woman deem androgynous faced kpop stars Korean male leads are dandies' not 'feminine' in a dimorphic sense, they're tall, have strong defined jawlines, chiseled features o…

this is such bad evolutionary reductionism. How does it explain racial preferences? Why are in america whole ethnicities considered 'less attractive' (example asian men) despite them not really lacking anything in the health/virility department? The average american-asian man is less fat, probably has higher cheekbones than his white counterpart, but is also perceived as less attractive.

Do you really think that that many women are in harems? 'i'm seeing someone' 'its nothing serious' 'he doesn't want to settle...yet' 'we're still young an experimenting' 'we are just getting to know each other' a lot of young women is one of those "arrangements".
/r/PurplePillDebate05/05/23 05:44 PM

I can speak on this from personal experience, I'm half korean half sicilian, needless to say my ethnic origins already fall under having a limited 'niche' appeal. Couple this with the fact that I wont ever be able to pull of the generic white-anglo saxon normie look. I have a fringe with the sides cut short (which is a generic cut in japan/korea) but people here think I'm into hardcore alternative stuff. The occasional attention I get, or at least got, was always from very young women, as a teen…

no the firendzone is when she's single, likes your personality, clicks with you on every level, except finds you sexually repulsive.

they do. There are not studies on this (yet), but based on my long-time observations I saw that women in their 20s will try to snatch the guy her friends agree is hot first. This is different than men who have varying types they go after: some are into plain looking girls who are nerdy and into anime, others are chubby chasers, some will pick girls just based on one feature alone (nice eyes, cute neck, pretty feet. . Women want the whole package: tall, handsome and ideal looking relative to the …

these guys are hoping what women told them will work: PERSONALTIY. of course the guy who is good enough to be her bestie/pal/confidant will think something more ought to develop from there.

63% of young men are single.

Women obviously downplay the attractiveness of a guy. A guy that has nothing wrong with him physically is barely average for them, despite claiming "a nice smile" being groomed and taking daily showers is what they're after. I for example get labeled as meh or even ugly because I have a slightly bigger nose.

only those I got acquainted with beforehand through mutual friends. it didn't help that we moved in similar social circles, women's racial preferences are so hard-wired they often times triumph over personality, even looks.

yeah, I kept hitting on women until I realized most of them don't see asian men as potential romantic suitors at all.

there are plenty of guys like her male version existing irl. Idk what are you talking about? Do women think testosterone just turns a guy into a 6ft3 square-jawed hunter-eyed Chad?

scientists actually have a hard time separating male skulls from female ones. Of course when a westerner imagines a woman and a man they recall pics from those middle school textbooks involving very exaggerated examples of adam/eve caricatures of sexual difference usually involving caucasian models.

of course not, but the average Becky rarely finds her average male compatriot attractive.

I personally know a lot of 'established men' that are the life of a party, liked by people, but are relegated to jesterdom. Good as friends, but rarely seen as attractive by women in a romantic sense.

Ok, since you're a offering a woman's perspective -- what about touching your hands/fingers? The two of us were working alone and she was asking something work related and as I turned toward her she grabbed my hand, covering it with hers -- no jest or humor involved -- the convo was banal but kept gently holding onto it until I awkwardly pulled it away from her. What would she mean by this?

forgot to add; today, while we worked alone, I was holding one of those wine openers and she was asking me about some stuff relating to customer service, the she put her hand over mine and kept awkwardly holding it until I moved away.

I'll restructure my question: what I'm looking is not to serially hit on cashiers, rather trying to discern what would be those small cues be that would separate purely professional friendliness from 'that guy who comes to our store is kinda cute' vibe. Is it prolonged eye contact, staring, what I soul be looking for, or genuine smile (cashiers/service workers rarely smile in Europe) ?
/r/seduction04/04/22 05:55 PM

ok, but what if woman (not even a cashier, just fills shelves there) made eye contact several times, prolonged from afar and started smiling, even though I never interacted with her as a customer. I'd take it as a green light, but I am confused here. Is this "professional politeness" or genuine likability -- mind you I'm from europe where customer service rarely smiles even for professional reasons
/r/seduction03/04/22 07:22 PM

ok, now on her part. What should I be looking for to discern pure formal politeness with potential attraction on her part. Would she initiate more eye contact when this isn't necessary, smile more?
