Don't take this personally, but I think you might be a serial opener. You can open females all day and night and only see limited learning potential. You want to focus on not the quantity of sets you're opening, but the quality of the interaction. Next time, plow right through the resistance as hard as you can. Don't be so quick to throw out compliments. If you get enough IOD's, then feel free to pop smoke.

Way to go, Curveball! There is an inner middle-schooler that wants to live this vicariously. Not everyone gets a second chance or even a first chance. For your tenacity and your ability to demonstrate grace under pressure, I salute you.

Read into the Kinsey Scale. There is no clear-cut definition of hetero, bi, or homosexuality, only shades of grey. Given that, going out to a gay bar is the ultimate excercise of outcome independence. Just leave sexuality out of the conversation unless they bring it up. If you get hit on by a gay guy, be flattered. They normally have high standards so take the compliment. Just treat them like one of the bros and you'll be fine. This will also elevate your social proof. With females, you'll know …

Once you're done with the sidebar, get out into the clubs and bars. Women are going to be on their guard and it's tough to make it in these places, but it's a good place to field test what you've learned and find your identity. Once you've been around the block a couple of times and you begin to see a pattern of how the game is played, branch out. Do some daygame, expand your social circle, and even try online game. This will maximize your exposure and give you more opportunities to be in the fi…

The most respectful thing a woman can do is be forward and honest. If I were to approach you and you were to tell me that you're flattered but not interested, you would automatically earn my respect. Many women opt out of this option due to societal standards; they want to not seem like a bitch, yet their body language betrays them. Unfortunately, many AFC's (average frustrated chumps) are left to read the signs and usually are not able to. A man leaving with his pride intact is his own matter, …

Yeah, I looked into that and I'll post there when I'm done with the project. I'm posting this here because it's pick-up related and it can be universally applied to any dating site.

A blush is a huge IOI on the extreme attraction side of the scale. If you can make a girl blush, you are clear to start talking about interests and developing an emotional connection.

Yeah, there is something I've developed and used over the past month called the Eruption Method. The problem that it works a little too well. It's very potent if it is used right and I can't let the cat out of the bag knowing that it can fall into the wrong hands. I'd be willing to share it if you have good intentions. Message me if you're interested.

I totally know where you're coming from. I game in a small town where everybody knows everyone and the cliques are tight knit. But going for one girl won't ostracize you from the group. You'll have to push yourself out of the comfort zone, but at the same time you should branch out and start picking fruit on other vines

You're right too. I hate to flip-flop and perhaps I was too quick to give praise, but I was giving more praise to the fact that he had found his identity: the gentleman. A lot of people are dismissing it because it's not within their persona, but I feel (learning from Style) that every idea deserves to be tested. I'm no gentleman and I know that; I'm the party animal that brings the good times. But the idea in this post are still worth a shot

Hmmmmm...that's a great idea. I just need to present it the right way so female readers don't think that this is some sleazebag project. Not that I care, but you attract more flies with honey.

Something I learned from Style: push yourself outside of of your comfort zone and go the extra mile. No matter how comfortable you get, you still need to push just as hard.

Can somebody please sidebar this? This is an outstanding post. For the longest time, I've been questioning my own motives for being a PUA. This right here ts the answer I've been looking for. If I go out and enrich other people's lives without an ulterior motive of personal gain, I can't go wrong. If I fail, at least I know that I've tried to make somebody's life better. Nobody can feel bad about that. Great advice!

Putting out mixed signals is what every woman does. I wouldn't focus so much on her reactions but more on your own. If you meet these reactions with indifference and you back up a little bit, you will discover the answer to your question. If she blows you off, so what? You're in college. You live in a world of abundance where beer, women, and your place are all within a close proximity. These are some of the best days of your life. Don't spend them wallowing in some other girl's shadow or in a b…

Oh snap, I didn't know about that. Thanks for the tip! Still, I think this post falls under the realm of /r/seduction because of the nature of the project--to improve my online game. Plus, the readers of /r/okcupid might find this project to be a little too insidious. Non PUA's have a total different attitude towards this sort of thing than your average PUA. Regardless, I'll check it out.

Great advice. I like the way this is written and how it was broken down. I especially agree with the first step because it's the thing that a lot of us, especially PUA's, forget to do. We just bottle it up and let it hang on our psyche.

It took me a little while to understand the chart, but the bell curve really pulled it together for me. I can understand why most people are confused by the chart. It's a concept that is difficult to express verbally, it's more something that you have to feel out in a conversation. I am going to borrow this, of course giving it credit where I use it. This chart is nothing short of incredible. Thanks for sharing!

Not necessarily. The "I deserve much better" attitude is harboring a negative, inner-game inhibiting thought due to some underlying insecurity. You liked her and were thinking about her for a reason. As hard as it is to language this idea and put it into words, the best way I can describe it is a form of "situational acceptance". It happened, there's no hard feelings, you still care about that person because of the impact they had in your life, but you're glad it happened because it changed you …

Two nights of sarging every bar and club we can touch before last call in the Power and Light district. An opportunity for other PUA's to put a face to the names, see what the community is all about up-front and personal, and learn about other seduction styles other than their own. A great opportunity to become a more well-rounded PUA and possibly try out some new techniques. I get the same thing too, bro. Mainly it's voice tonality and mannerisms. I used to think it hurt my game, but I've come to realize that it might enhance it in some situations. So I've never bothered to try to change my mannerisms. I've figured out that gay men simply pose little or no sexual threat in a woman's mind and it sometimes helps you slip right under the radar.

Perhaps "convention" is too strong of a word. It's really just a couple of nights sarging power and light and Sedditors getting together to hang out. I certainly don't have the resources or time to put together something like a real convention. But you're right about timing, it'll probably get pushed back. "kinda" bf is such a shit test. Commitments are solidly black and white. Either she has one or she doesn't. Either way, there is nothing wrong with going for it. Believe it or not, her impression that you're not into her is a good thing. You're showing active disinterest and demonstrating that you're not needy. When you meet up with her Thursday, you don't have to be aggressive, just forward. Don't use your words to indicate interest, use your actions. Take a look at the Vin DiCarlo Escalation L…

I like the last part about the guidos, almost reminds me of a line from The Rock: "Your best? Losers always whine about their best. Winners go home and fuck the prom queen." Other than that, you did a great job of maintaining a consistent state throughout each interaction. That alone sealed the deal.

In short, there is a game. Simply put, it's a little toolbox that each PUA carries with him full of theory, technique, and contingencies. The reason why the game is always changing is because when you use x, y, or z, technique, a hundred different contingencies can arise. The mark of an experienced PUA is simply knowing how to react to those contingencies, then adding it to his repertoire when it comes up for the first time. When you develop enough contingencies and put yourself in a number of d…

Here's the issue. Every environment requires a different strategy. Bar game is different from club game. Game at a house party is far different than bars or clubs. Day game and online dating is another beast all together. While most of pickup theory deals with bar and club game, every well rounded PUA has to know how to approach every situation. Generally speaking, most of your time at a house party won't be spent approaching sets, but extending your social network.

Start by chatting with the bartenders, soon they'll open up like you're a regular. Avoid death row, the line of men up against the bar who do nothing but drink and oggle at women. This will lower your value. Use the three second rule and start chatting with the first people you see. It doesn't matter if it's an all-male set, a mixed set, or full of unattractive females. Just don't be a sitting duck. From there, branch out and try to meet everybody in the room. Engage targets when the opportunity…

A red light could be a hundred different things, but the most obvious one that I've encountered is where the conversation peters with a strong awkward vibe, you get discluded from conversation, or everybody starts checking their phones. If it gets bad enough, the whole group could do a switcharoo with the seating arrangements and deliberately seat an AMOG next to you to try to either make sure you don't do anything "stupid" or to force you to eject in the most socially tactful way possible. Outstanding post! I currently am dealing with a oneitis, but this gives me hope that there are ways to deal with this while coming out looking like a complete boss. Your use of woman 1 to put leverage on woman 2 was nothing short of masterful. Other than that, this performance was so flawless that I really have nothing else to say to this except...damn. Keep up the good work!

Interesting take on it. As of recently, I have felt that oneitis meant that she had played her natural game on me and won. That made me feel vulnerable, especially at a time when I wasn't ready to open up to her. But your post shares an interesting perspective. Win or lose, pass or fail, crash or soar, it might be healthier to act upon my passions instead of holding it in and suffering the sting of inaction--but only with the right amount of focus. Your suggestion sure is worth a try. Necessity …

I hate to be a debbie downer here, but perhaps MDMA isn't the answer. Your game was so tight last night because your seratonin levels were through the roof and it caused you to have a greater sense of social awareness without inhibitions. You have the power to reach that level without a chemical dependency.

At that point she had already made up her mind that she was going to sleep with you, but something with her ASD slammed on the breaks. No worries, it's just resistance before the last minute. At least she apologized and fessed up to her flaky behavior. She doesn't sound like a total waste of time, you just need to approach with caution and turn those yellow lights into green lights. Great move on not chasing after her and acting cool. You did all of the right things. Now that the ball is in your…

I feel your pain, bro. I'm going through something similar right now with this girl I just met last night. Great observations about your own state. The first step to taking care of external validation/confidence issues is to recognize it--and you've done that. The best way to combat this is to go out with a wing, someone to bounce positive energy off. Someone to provide encouragement and leverage to perform. You want women to be jealous. Not only does this cause your social value to soar through the roof, but it removes the notion that you are needy and willing to supplicate because you have other options. As disgusted and appalled as you may think she is, she will have to fight to maintain an even keel with you in regards of social value. Will it be more difficult to pursue anything more with HB9? You betcha, but you've got time on your side for that.

They're lady-players and they harbor a negative mindset. You should see this is an immediate red flag and approach with extreme caution. Don't write them off, but you must insist that they end this behavior before taking it to the next level.

A few things, actually. I was a bit overdressed for the joint. Nice shoes, jeans, and a polo. A lot of the locals here are just in jeans, a t-shirt, and often camo. Also, I have a few mannerisms that cause people to think I'm gay. It's never hurt my game and has only served as a conversation piece, so I'm not at all worried about this.

I've been reading theory and practicing it in light bits and pieces off-and-on since high school. It wasn't until a couple months ago that I really started to get into this. I really don't go for the no-porn no-fap philosophy. It's a societal repression of your sexuality. You shouldn't feel afraid of sex, sexuality, or pleasuring yourself. All men should be comfortable enough to express their sexuality with self-control and confidence.

PRO-TIP that I've learned from experience on my last date: once she knows what's going on, call out the white elephant in the room. Have her turn over and look her in the eyes. For added effect, place a hand on her cheek: "You know, this thing really has a mind of it's own and it's really annoying. Because you seem like a real charming and caring person, I want to get to know you first and snuggle before anything escalates. Fair enough?" I would normally say that you should pattern-interrupt the frame and carry into a different conversation. But if it's something that she is really passionate about, this could be your chance to build a connection with her. Use her passions to build comfort, trust, connection, and commonalities. However, don't fall into the argument trap. Let her do most of the talking and throw in neutral comments every once in a while. TEASE TEASE TEASE. There's a great method I use to smash through LMR called the "kissing game": Get into a heavy makeout session. Disengage and part lips. Brush your bottom lip up against hers, and let her lean in for a kiss. Pull back and do this repeatedly. Keep teasing her, but don't mention that you're playing a game or she must bargain for your kiss. Let her arrive at the latter conclusion by herself. Once she does that, the game is on. If it's really on, she'll engage in the same game, so …

Savannah, GA. I read an article stating that both Savannah (#3) and Charleston, SC (#1, 1 1/2 hours away) have the most beautiful women in America. There are plenty of bars/clubs in the downtown districts and lots of opportunity for daygame at the beach. In between those two towns, don't forget about Augusta, GA and Broad Street. Fucking awesome post! I like the way you confronted your gatekeepers, first going in guns blazing with mild AMOG tactics, then by bearing the gift of your company. There was something I used to do at my old sales job called "impact time". I think the problem is also a lot of people don't understand the true intention of a neg. It isn't to insult or comment on their physical appearance or even knock a conceited bitch down a couple of rungs. It's only used on "more attractive women" to create a strong frame of active disinterest. From my understanding of how women interact, and I could be wrong since I haven't walked a mile in a woman's shoes, the idea behind going for the "hot damn" effect is to one-up other women in a perpetual competition. However, it's also to build attraction towards men. You know, flaunt it if you got it--with class. I know its shallow, but that's just the way it is--just like love is a woman's game. The only way that I know of to convince a friend to give it a try is if you go out and get results for yourself, which would be problematic due to marriage. But there is hardly a way to simply convince someone to try this, so he has to see results and think "how the hell did you do that?" Perhaps if you have other buddies that are into the seduction arts, arrange for a guys night at the club. Or you can bring your wife. Or there's another way that I learned from Maniac High. If you can, go online and try to track down "Kipp's Club Game", or something along those lines. Clubs are drastically different than bars as you must rely far more on nonverbal communication to figure out what is going on and to communicate with your target. Also, KINO KINO KINO. You can get away with a whole lot more in a club. The huge advantage with clubs is that if you completely get blown out of a set, the next one is literally ten seconds away. If you show a little initiative, you won't ha…

Ahh...and the plot thickens. Now we're getting to my favorite part. It's funny that you mention being able to see through things because you're very transparent yourself. Do correct me if I am wrong, but I sense that you have a very strong personality. You also are very book smart due to the strong dose of wit that blends in with your "take shit from nobody" attitude, but I also see an inner nerd with a mild, endearing quirkiness--what makes you unique and likeable by others. You are more right-…

Use some priming questions to figure out what her interests are: "What kind of music do you listen to?" "Are you more right brained or left brained?" "If you could be anywhere in the world right now, where would you be?" Something along those lines. Then, let her spill the beans about it. If she is really passionate about it, she will pour her soul out. Then, introduce a few interests of your own that are similar so it feels like you both share something in common. And five days is perfect. It's…

It was Christmas night and I was spending time with famly, so it panned out that way. The line I got from a variation of something from Maniac High. I'm debaing whether or not I should put it to bed or try it on a better night. As for what I've studied, I've done a little but not quite as much as I want. I started off just like a hunred other PUA's...Neil Strauss' The Game. Then I read Mysery Method and it didn't work out so well when I tried testing it out in the field. My real big intro into t…

Don't overthink it and take the compliment. This is her way of saying she is attracted. Stop what you're doing, figure out what her interests are, let her talk, and listen. If she ends up talking more than half of the time, you are succeeding at building comfort.

As a cat person, I love that approach. My version may be a bit theatrical and it's hard to do congruently, so I'll give yours a try. Thanks for the tip!

You don't hate yourself. Your inner critic just gets the better of you sometimes. We share something in common, I was also raised to have a strong inner critic. Quit being so hard on yourself. Understand the nature of the reality around you. You will learn that other pepople don't see you the same way you think they do. Oftentimes they are far less critical of you than you are of yourself.

Dude no way! I've been thinking the same thing for a while. Only problem is that weed effects me a little differently--I get synesthesia and I can taste and feel sounds. I normally lay still like a mannequin and just rub my face half the time. I have been seriously considering using it for comfort-building and seduction. As corny as it sounds...a woman's feelings just seem so much more real to me, like I'm reaching into her soul. But in my experience, smoking has really helped my inner game. It …

I'd have to hand it to you. This is some great stuff right here, especially right before I'm about to go out into the field. I really like how you reasserted your point through Sixty's theory. I ought to give some of this a try. Thanks for the pep talk!

This is a real interesting post. This theory is intriguing, where can I find his work? With that said, I am a firm believer that there is no numbers game when it comes to PU. Everybody gets "lucky" every once in a while because they do the right thing at the right time on accident, but they can't duplicate that success because they don't have the tools at their disposal to do that; that's where seduction theory comes in. Although this happens, I still don't feel that there is a viable algorithm …

This right here is why I came to Seddit. Your comment was 100% spot-on. 1) I always try to find the special link, that thing that every one of my successful encounters have in common. Since you've mentioned outcome independence, it all makes total sense now. A skilled PUA heading for a !close isn't going to be thinking "I'm going to have her heels to Jesus in an hour and a half", he simply executes. The first two approaches were unsuccessful because I had already determined what the end-state sh…

You can stand between them, especially if the bar is really crowded. Most of the time you won't have to worry about that situation because the place will be so target rich that you will be all over the place.

I like your approach. Strippers get hit on like 100 times a day, no exaggerations. If you know you can sarge a stripper, you can sarge almost anyone. You definitely won't have to worry about playing minor league ball in a major league ballpark. Great post!

Absolutely not. While being in the field will solidify and refine your game, you need a lot of theory to get started and begin working on inner game. It doesn't matter if you've approached one set in your lifetime or you've had a threesome with two playboy bunnies fighting over your dick, all PUA's must maintain a student mentality. Read it all and look for the theories that pop up multiple times. Then go out into the field and find out what works for you. When you've done that, study some more …

It's just my way of being friendly and socializing with people. I've never had a negative response from it. Though oftentimes I use this technique to size up a person's level of confidence from their nonverbal cues. A lot of men, and even women, will reveal their position on the social ladder by eye contact and posture.

I am glad you asked about this. I've been working on something over the past month and a half to combat this and I finally have the opportunity to share it somewhere where it will make a difference. I call it the "Wildfire Method". Imagine that you are a spark that jumped from a fire pit. The more people you interact with and the more you work the room, the more the fire spreads. Soon, you'll burn the whole joint to the ground with conversation. Walk in fully prepared and find a seat at the bar …

Great post. I ran into this same issue recently when a girl was at a bar with her boyfriend. She kept sending me IOI's, but I understood that I wasn't in a position to do anything about it without being immediately declined. I say if the boyfriend is there and it's obvious that the two of them are happy together, don't shit on them. But if the same girl were to talk to me next week with the whole "my boyfriend is suuuuuuch a douche!" spiel while he wasn't there, I know it's on like donkey kong. …

Thanks! This is one of the first times that I've gotten such well-constructed criticism. You even gave me a reason "why". You're right, a lot of men don't have a strong "anti-care defense" and it's really obvious when they try to play that card. It's just like any other skill, you have to develop it; it doesn't just happen overnight. BTW, you didn't have to mention that you get hit on to make your point. You're trying to qualify me, how cute :)

Start using something I call PROWORDS: Love, Excitement, Intimate, Passion, Pleasure, Warm, Feeling. Example: I absolutely love drinking hot chocolate on a winter day. It makes me feel so warm and bursting with passion. I could sit down and read a good book for hours. When you are using prowords, you aren't saying anything suggestive per se, but you are starting to speak their language. Women aren't logical creatures, but they are very emotional. A women's subconscious will identify these words …

I would totally say that the RSD philosophy works, but I live in a small town west of KCMO where the bars/clubs simply aren't ever target rich enough to try such a method. Everybody knows everyone, so I really have to watch what I do so I can maintain my social network. To make up for this, I recently started doing something that will really help with building an ACD. I have the phrase "rhino skin" written on the mirror in my room. I recite it enough times to where it will seep into my psyche an…

Was that an AFC performance? I don't think so. Did you do what you were doing by complete accident? Perhaps. To expand upon puaCurveBall and partint's input, AFC's do get lucky from time to time. They end up doing all of the right things at the right time and it pays off. However, the difference between an AFC and you, an PUA, is that they can't replicate that success because they don't know what it was exactly that they were doing that got them to where they wanted to be. On the other hand, bei…

You already have everything you need to start a successful relationship with one or multiple women. You just need to refine and sculpt your abilities. Perhaps women are getting that vibe because you are doing what the ten or twenty guys before you did. Be the exception. Women absolutely love a challenge. As aggressive as it sounds, women love it when you take their game and dish it right back at them. Mystery's Venusian Arts Handbook is a great read to get headed in this direction as I share a l…

Sharing on MetaSnow's advice, I also recommend exchanging numbers in a cocky/funny sort of frame if you get to that point. Make a game out of it, like playing "secret agent". Buy something, pay cash, and hand her a slip of paper with your phone number underneath the bills. Tell her that "this is your first mission". This way you are being coy, discrete, and she can't get in trouble. This will also distinguish you from the hundreds of guys who hit on her because of your courage, tenacity, and cre…

As much of a fan as I am of Mystery's work, it's far too methodical for beginners. A lot of newer rAFC's use the material and find themselves with marginal success because it's like fitting a square peg through a round hole. It also requires that you crash and burn (literally) hundreds of times before firmly grasping the material. Mystery's material requires a lot of inner game and congruence to do effectively. Of course the material works--for Mystery. For newbies, I highly recommend both Secre…

I agree with your "use it or lose it" theory, but I also believe that AA occurs in every situation with anyone. Even Style used to get AA at the height of his game. AA never gets better over time and experience, it can only be suppressed. You did a hell of a job of generating DHV's. I am absolutely certain that HB8 was thinking about you after she left. The only thing I would improve on is learning how to speak with your eyes . On another note, I really enjoyed your link and I'm seriously thinki…

I don't think it's so much how you ask her, but the level of trust, comfort, and attraction you build that will allow you to initiate true seduction. In a club, this is more difficult to pull off because it's loud and you must rely more on kino and nonverbal communication. The more you bump and grind with her and the more emotional stock/time she invests with you, the more receptive she will be to your suggestions. She wants to be led and she wants to go back with you, she just doesn't want to f…

Natural game? Almost. The Eruption Method still provides a structure of how a seduction works, but it remains almost entirely unscripted and improvised. I still use some canned material, but later and more sparingly. I like to think of my approach as a hybrid between natural and structured. But because I've created this as an expansion of a very outdated MM, I am really curious to find out if this works for anyone else. It's a new theory and it needs calibration, but you should give it a try the…

Nah, you did that by virtue of your skill, 100%. Because you weren't "in frame", you weren't trying. There are alot of us (me included) that are very cerebral and analytical about the way we sarge and it causes us to think way too much. PU is a lot like playing guitar. If you think about every single note, you will miss some. Just sit back, do your thing, and let it flow like Eddie Van Halen. You played a solid game, but you did it on accident. Try to take that success and bottle it so you can u…

Here is my honest, constructive criticism: You were being too needy and too forward when arranging another meeting with the first girl and her ASD kicked into full gear. While clubs are designed to offer the opportunity for an easy ONS, women still need an excuse to go back to your place--"Hey, I want to show you my exotic fish collection...". Or if your game is real tight, she will invite you back to her place. For next time, try incorporating push/pull tactics. Instead of telling her you want …

Don't wait until January. Now is the time to practice and refine your game. It seems like you've got a bit of experience in day game and that's great. Try your hand in bars and clubs. They're different environments and women will be much more on guard, but you will learn a lot before you go back to school. Don't worry about AA or rejection. Just pretend it's a video game and you have to get to the next level. It's nothing personal against you and it doesn't determine your worth as a person. Sedu…
