This time around, I really trimmed the excess out of my profile and toned it down several notches. I took out the blatant sarcasm, kept the cocky, and added quite a bit of funny:

My self-summary I guess I could do what everyone else does and talk about how there's nobody else like me, but I'm not going to bother. I dislike using labels to define myself.

All I've got to say is that if you get to know me, grab ahold of that rope and hang on for your fucking life.

Right now, Uncle Sam has other plans for me but I plan to find what I'm good at, kick ass, and take names. Nasty style.

Results

Although my proflie has shaped up quite a bit compared to last time, it has generated far fewer visitors over the four days of this phase (7). Most of the viewers have been the previous 4 people that I had messaged previously with only one reply. After a couple days of messaging back and forth, I'm on the brink of a number close. All I can do at this point is wait it out.

Now it is evident that I need to take my profile back up a couple of notches and add some fluff while keeping the elements that work. I need to pump some more CF into it to make it more intriguing. Right now, it seems that my profile is closer to what everyone else is doing so I also need to be more of an exception. I'm also going to omit the fact that I'm a smoker so I will be generated on more searches.

Any other advice anyone else can give me will be greatly appreciated. I might try it out for size.

For phase three, no fucks will be given. If i can't generate more visitors, I'll have to bite the bullet and message, message, message.

I've figured out the key to messaging is understanding the structure of how the game is played. Your first message is almost like your opener. If she sees your profile and keeps messaging, she likes it. I normally refrain from asking about interests until she does (comfort phase). Until that point, I normally keep it CF until I generate enough attraction for a #close or until I reach the point where I can reach the comfort phase.
