Amen. I'm in a relationship with one who I met through a dating app and – although she wasn't my first choice – she was head and shoulders above anyone else I was dating at the time. Also, ditto on the kid. We have our problems (which couple doesn't), but her kid isn't one of them.

I think you need to be careful with your all or nothing thinking. Just in life - in general. I wrote a post yesterday - doesn’t mean I subscribe to this thought/idea forevermore. I’ve been swayed by some other people in this thread to have a more nuanced view. Everything we do in life is ‘in the moment.’ Including this post I wrote. I’m not an all-seeing oracle that has all the answers to the universe. It’s sparked a debate and conversation - that’s all. How can that be toxic in any way?

Interesting point, but she ghosted me literally the next day. It’s not like something turned her attention away that quickly. Honestly dude, everyone (of course) is entitled their opinion. It’s an interesting topic of debate, this. But no one was there with me, that night, at the bar. Something was off. I genuinely felt like she’d made her mind up there and then when she saw me. Now I know that sounds insecure, but who asks to go for a drink and then orders a coke. Also, when the waitress came b…

Yep. Exactly. Yet that’s the reason she chose to gave. Not that I seemed like a ‘fuckboy’, not anything else. This is the reason SHE gave. And we’re dissecting it like there’s another reason. It’s bizarre to me. It is what it is!

Interesting. Although, I don’t think that is what it is. I was confident af on this most recent date, called out her blushing etc etc Asked her afterwards when she called me a ‘fuckboy’ - post-date if I’d given the wrong impression and she said ‘no that was just me being cheeky’ , I just don’t have a ‘surface level attraction’ to you What aren’t people getting here? 😂 sometimes it’s really that simple.
/r/seduction26/10/22 04:48 PM

She said the reasons why she can’t see a potential romantic future is because of surface level attraction
/r/seduction26/10/22 04:46 PM
-4

Why would you ghost? End of. Treated her like a gent. We had loads in common - might’ve even have been pals off the back of it. If we had an honest chat post-date and she said she wasn’t feeling it. Blatant disrespect and she had the cheek to say ‘no response is a response’ when I called out that I hadn’t heard from her LOL. Basically - all I’m trying to say is that not all women are these sweet angels we make them out to be. They can be very cold and superficial
/r/seduction26/10/22 04:45 PM
6

Huh? I fancied her loads. Fair play - I have generalised. I might change my view on that. No one should - what I don’t understand, though, is that I look like my photos, we vibed so well, had loads in common AND kissed. Listen - it is what it is, I’m just a bit salty - there I said it
/r/seduction26/10/22 04:43 PM
4

Somewhat true. I was out this weekend and saw someone fire with a sub-average guy. My inkling though is that’s the exception to the rule and more commonplace in younger couples where they meet organically through school and they get to like them first. Dating apps are faster paced.
/r/seduction26/10/22 04:42 PM
1

I said women are more superficial, I didn’t say men weren’t. But fair enough - I see your point. I have made a big generalisation. More women are more superficial than is led on might be more appropriate.

Word. Just thought I’d share this for anyone else that might’ve been ghosted and was questioning what they’d done wrong. I hope they can find solace in the fact that it was most likely beyond their control and she already had her mind made up.
/r/seduction26/10/22 03:49 PM

She said ‘no surface physical attraction’ - I know you’re desperately trying to sound smart /outsmart me. Why that is? God knows - because it seems you’re lacking the fundamental ability to read.
/r/seduction26/10/22 03:48 PM

This, and also (myself included) need to stop matching with sub-6 girls on the apps when in desperate times because it’s sending the wrong message at scale
/r/seduction26/10/22 03:40 PM
1

True. Not disagreeing with that. I’m picky. But I don’t ghost
/r/seduction26/10/22 03:28 PM

She said it was a ‘surface-level physical attraction’ thing. And we kissed. Like I said, if you’re not showing any red flags/not saying anything retarded and she still ghosts - it’s your looks. I’m sorry. I know it’s a bitter pill, but it’s better that than questioning ‘oh I could’ve said this better’ ‘oh maybe I shouldn’t have said that’ The moment you start policing EVERYthing you say is the moment you lose who you are. Stick to the basics: don’t be offensive, but aside from that, be you.

Not sure why we are getting downvoted given our stories are factual - i.e. they happened. Just keep plowing away man

Dude - I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but it’s not ‘I just got ghosted’ lol. There is always a reason. For everything. This isn’t some black pill / insecure / sad boi shit, this is honest and realistic 😂 I’m also not looking for a pity party. I’ve got other girls/had other girls that are interested in me. You can’t win them all. The girls that don’t like you is probably because they don’t fancy you. It really is as simple as that. I’ve seen it in my younger kid sister who had her first bf …

Broooo!!! I had the exact same thing 4 years ago… Had this girl grinding on me hard and making out with me hard in this bar. Her 3 sisters were there too and were honestly my biggest wingmen that night. Get her number. Kiss her goodbye, get on with it. SHE texts me the next day. Organise a date. Go meet her. Was a fairly good date. Kiss at the end of it and then she ghosts. Maybe the beer goggles (for her) wore off. It’s baffling
/r/seduction26/10/22 02:55 PM
4

Yep, don’t sweat the small stuff, play the numbers game and don’t take it personally if someone ghosts - their loss, not yours. It’s cliche, but it’s true. And I’m glad I asked because now I have a tremendous amount of insight into female behaviour/mindset. You’re right on the money re: the yardstick/barometer of what women think they’re capable of attaining are. Kudos to this girl for knowing what she wants, but in all honesty, I think if she wants a Zac Efron-type she’s gonna be hard pressed. …

I hear that. I can get caught up in the moment with a girl I’m not THAT into because I’m having a great time and want to escalate, kiss, have sex, etc. But there’s certain things I never do and that’s ghosting. If I wasn’t feeling it after date 1 or we’ve ended up having sex, etc. I’ll always have THE chat

I get that. I’d rather just know if it was appearance-based or some kind of vibe I gave off. I get you can’t police your personality - I’m a big advocate of ‘just be you.’ But I may have been too ‘laddy’ for example and not taken my time to speak seriously on subjects (I’m of the opinion you shouldn’t get too deep on first dates but maybe I’m wrong). For example, maybe I should’ve asked what stage she was in, in life. It was all flirty and surface. Feedback would be helpful. I don’t know man, it…

Dude, that's mad. Sorry to hear that. I'll be vulnerable: it's made me mad insecure. I'm just looking at myself in the mirror now like... 'really? She didn't like that? What's wrong with that?' Shit hurtsss brooooo. ^ More than this though - it always is the ones I find really attractive, that this happens with. I've got a date on a Sunday and I had an old flame hit up my phone last night, but this one seemed like real LTR material, so it sucks
/r/seduction21/10/22 02:19 PM
23

Okay - you've definitely been ghosted. Do you just move on to other girls usually or try have an honest, uncomfortable chat about it? I.e. 'hey - hope you're good - take this to mean you're not interested (honestly no worries at all - part and parcel of the dating process) we got on that night, so could you give me some insight as to why you don't want to continue talking'
/r/seduction21/10/22 02:09 PM

In most circumstances, it isn't. But she asked me before the date 'we're going for a drink, yeah?' We turn up... and she orders a coke. Her Hinge profile also said she drinks sometimes. I can't explain it. It was more gut-feel (maybe insecurity) telling me: uh oh, she's seen me, she doesn't like what she sees, she wants to make this quick and then get out of here EDIT: why the downvotes? Genuinely curious

Not to sound arrogant, but I've slept with over 30 women so - no - I don't think that's at issue

That's not news to me at all. She is not the only girl I'm going out with either, but I don't ghost. It'd be nice to know where we stand Edit: has this not happened to you then? I wrote this post because I want advice in terms of next steps from people who have had this experience.
/r/seduction21/10/22 02:00 PM

Honestly? I've been fucked over by so many girls (exhibit A - this post) by being too invested so I've taken a step back and don't respond straight away anymore. Admittedly, it's a self-protection thing, but also because sometimes I get overwhelmed with work/life and rather than get distracted, like to respond to all my texts in bulk

Mad this, isn't it? First girl (what I thought was a good date) I had a date with a fitty that I cold-approached on the street. Thought it went really well. Was holding hands, had a few kisses here and there (nothing crazy passionate, but still, I was stoked that I approached this girl earlier on in the week and was now kissing her - wtf!) There was a massive language-barrier between us so we ended the night a bit prematurely. I did try swinging her back to mine for a few drinks, but she smiled,…

This is tough love, OP, but they're facts. Bit of a blanket-rule so you can adjust this somewhat but I try to never double-text a girl unless I'm in a relationship with her. The only time I give myself an exception with a double-text to girls I'm dating (not in a relationship with) are for logistics. Example, I sent the last text and then my follow-up text is 'I'm here. By the booth' or later on in the day, for example 'booked this place for later' etc.

Nah man not unusual at all. I’m generally quite shit with my phone these days too and it’s rare I have a girl ON it re: reply-times. Very rare. Don’t want to wax lyrical/get overly philosophical but the world has become lazy since Covid (remote working, teams meeting deadlines, etc.) and that’s even more pronounced now in the dating app scene imo But, think about it. EVERYONE is using their phones every single day. There’s really no excuse. It’s laziness. If I had a hot girl basically do a take …

OP - if you're going for a hail-mary and want to try and get a girl onboard who ignored your last message I don't think there's any other way than calling it out. Don't send a short, small message that doesn't warrant a response. It's not a fix-all, but it's worked for me in the past. I.e. if you've set up a date, but haven't heard back the whole day 'Hey - just in respect of my own standards, you've not replied all day and no one is ever that busy so let's just forget xxx date. Never thought about this before but you are absolutely right. Every girl I've been with has really liked me and I've got vibes that they think they're almost winning the lottery - in a way. Obviously somewhere along the way, it naturally found balance and an equilibrium - but yeah... Any girl I've put on a pedestal or I've kind of been into them but they're a bit indifferent with me.... yeah... goes nowhere

Not sure about this mate. Sometimes they just meet you and don’t fancy you physically in person. I’ve met up a couple times and thought ‘nah’ about the girl in person. I mean, I get it dude. It's long. And tbh, it doesn't matter all that much (can only speak for me) as other goals in my life. Luckily I have a very casual thing going at the minute and we meet up basically once a week to bang and that's fulfilling my sexual needs whilst I get shit done in my life. Do I want more sexual partners and variety? Yeah, why not. I'm single. But, like I said, if it's forced energy then... fuck it. Numbers game, isn't it. With some people it clicks, others it doesn't. This is where this shit does genuinely interest me because, without trying to sound offensive, to me all that sounds like is he's gone for some fat, desperado toad because he knows he can fuck her. That's not game. I can do that. Anyone with a minimal amount of confidence can do that. If though, you can honestly say he banged a 7 (above average) then... hats off to him. Cold approach is great. Know why? Because this is building your character. Big-time. I've only started to realise it myself. It's humbling you. You don't actually matter. But... no one else does either. What I'm trying to say is that... you're not going to magically sweep someone off of their feet. It's not how life works. Everyone has their own lives they're leading. I tend to get ghosted more vs than when I do the ghosting, but I definitely resonate with this. As of late, any girl that kinda just bores me/is too serious/intense or doesn't float my boat intellectually/ask any questions I end up ghosting - not even intentionally or out of malice. Just literally cannot be bothered. Life is busy. Got too much shit going on to force energy when it's dead. I imagine a lot of girls feel the same way. I guess that's why the whole 'how are you? I don’t genuinely think that’s toxic at all. You’re just demonstrating (without consciously and actively deciding to) that you’re less invested in her 🤷🏽‍♂️ she’ll see you as a prize because of that, because realistically most other guys will be thirsty The reason I DON’t see that as toxic behaviour (to begin with) is because you initially owe that other person Jack-shit. This happens all the time bro. I read something somewhere once where the advice was basically like: go for a same night lay with a girl on a night out because the chance of her flaking you the next day is extraordinary high. Don't really understand the appliance of 80/20, but yeah exactly. The other stuff is fluff and Hollywood nonsense. A 10/10 with a good family, charm, and personality is always going to beat the 10/10 with 0 social skills, but that's obvious. What's not talked about enough is the 10 with 0 social skills vs the 5/6 with an abundance of personality, charm, wit, humor, etc. ...that 6 ain't getting anywhere with an attractive woman sorry. He might get by with an average looking woman, but a stunner (…

Tbh, I personally compete for money and status because I'm not content living a mediocre life. Not doing it for a woman (that's a fringe benefit). I think most women doll themselves up for themselves also because they like to look and feel nice (of course, attracting a guy is a nice byproduct of that). This whole narrative of 'oh I do it for you, the guy' ... eh... yes, to an extent, but I think its more complicated and complex than that

Yeah man it’s propaganda. My post was more about that exact ‘lie’ we’ve been told. I know it sounds obvious but it’s more a comment on that than an AHA! I’ve cracked it 🤷🏽‍♂️

Mick jagger imho isn’t a good example. He’s famous and led a very exciting life and has bucket loads amount of charm. Both have similar status by way of money (rich Branson actually has more) but the singer is always going to be the sexier option imo Looks > excitement/status > money. In the case of the abo…

100%. I guess the purpose of my post, although it sounds blatantly obvious, was to reiterate that. Tbh, it felt like an epiphany to me because I’ve read SO much shit where it’s like MEN ARE VISUAL… which kind of implies women aren’t and I suppose that ingrained itself for a little while

Exactly. I consider myself a good looking guy, but there’s a couple of pals of mine over the years that are ‘universally good looking’ I.e. they genuinely could be models if they were a bit taller. Any time I’ve gone out with them, they get 80% of the attention. I still got some, and I’ve done well and pulled whilst being out with them, but they 100% have more options than if I were to go out with a less good looking friend. Flirting that's smiling, strong eye contact and just being really nice to someone, that's fine. That's one thing. Not new to dating at all, but I am new to approaching IRL. Ive got a girl coming over tonight. I’ve relied on drunk night game, social circles (including work); I worked with my ex and the apps (where the heavy lifting has been done for you). She is a super early approach in my day game pick up. Yeah man I get that. She gave me my food for free earlier that day. It’s not the first time I’ve seen her, that’s the thing. She was all leaning on the counter and blushing and asking me when I finished and shit. I treated her like a human being rather than someone just doing a job and I think that went some ways as to endearing her to me. She’s South American and I completely get she’s probably very flirty by nature but don’t give me your fucking number if you’re not on it man. Spineless hoe.

Yeah this is what I’m saying. I have no problem when I’m in an elevator, standing in a queue, etc. where there is a prolonged period of time I’ll be next to her. It’s when I’ve already walk past I psyche myself out and think ‘well running back now is uncalibrated’ Having said all that, I managed a date-close with someone I ran back and said hello to a month back. Thanks man, I really appreciate this. You're right, I think the fact I'm a perfectionist plays a huge part. I guess I can't really see this working, though: “Hey, I noticed _______, what does ______ mean for you?” because I don't think it would be calibrated to walk past a girl, and then run back and say something indirect as opposed to bluntly stating interest. It is hard, but it’s character building even if things don’t pan out for you, you will and can learn so much. You’re confronting your fears head-on. This is a mad interesting take. In all honesty, I couldn't be bothered to see her. I was kinda seeing her/set up the date just to keep my dating muscle exercised and for a potential easy lay. Hands up. All things considered, and given how stressful work has been and how long my to-do list is getting I saw her 'need to be up early' as my 'out' which is why I suggested another date. You're right. Maybe that was her sensing I wasn't into it... could be loads of things though to be honest, and she s…

Well done bro. She sounds hot. MM does say in this book that you should generally be less invested than a woman is for her to be/keep her attraction for you, and I tend to (90%) agree with that particular concept. Sounds like this is that

To be honest, I haven't told the full story. (And no offence taken, re: 'what you did was stupid' I know it was). Basically, I was under the impression we were paying for our own meals. It turns out I had to split my bill with everyone else and everyone else had bought shit loads of champagne, etc. that I didn't even drink so I was already pissed off because I'd shot myself in the foot without knowing what the deal was and ended up with a huge bill (not even my doing). He then turns to me and sa…

Yeah, but that's contradictory to me, to be honest. Approaching a girl in the street goes against social norms, yet, it's a necessity if you want to expand your dating pool. Therefore, where does the line begin and end? If I feel really strongly about people that don't get the vaccine (COVID), and that they're idiots, should I oppose someone talking about people that do get the vaccine are idiots at a family dinner, potentially ruin the mood, and it get awkward or move swiftly on? Catch my drift…

This, OP. Had a night out with some pals recently. Wasn’t getting any attention at all. Went into another venue, started getting eyeballs (from equally good-looking women). Biggest lesson: good game is sorting/filtering through girls that are receptive to you versus those that aren’t, NOT convincing those that aren’t to be into you, despite you maybe being attracted to them.

I understand all this. I'm a bit jaded/disillusioned because the hot girl I'd approached who I was into actually did go on a date with me, but then she ghosted. On the other hand, the girls that I am not that into are easy-pickings. Mark Manson, Models, teaches that you should always be less invested in a girl than she is you. Do you subscribe to this notion? If so, how do you manage your own level of investment? I find with the girls I like maybe I'm too invested, but I don't realise it at the …

Devil's advocate then (I'm genuinely interested) do you seduce a woman because you like to paint her nails? LOL. I understand both responses from you and u/AFarAwayTimeTraveler but equally, why are we seducing more than one woman in the first place then, if not for fun versus a relationship?

2

This OP. It's a numbers game. There are some things you can do to spice up a conversation, but by and large, if you're not a weirdo and you're just having general chit-chat and the girls not reciprocating it's not because of the words you're using, it's because she just doesn't fancy you mate
/r/seduction27/06/22 11:34 AM
1

I don't know, could she not have been saying 'I love you' as a joke/part of her banter? Maybe you made it weird by looking too into it/treating it seriously. Could you not have said something a bit cringe/goo-ey back just to gauge where the conversation was going to go? I'm playing Devil's advocate, of course. Maybe she does love you, in which case, yeah that would be weird.
/r/seduction27/06/22 11:28 AM

Wish you got a reply here because that would've been insightful. My pal gets 100s of matches on the apps and he regularly has sex on date 1's and 2's so thinking this very much is a factor. Personally, I think it's either a 'this guy is fucking irresistible' or 'hm I like him, but I need to warm up to him'
/r/seduction24/06/22 08:51 AM
2

Yeah man, don't do it. I posted a video of me looking jacked, topless, playing guitar on my balcony the other day and I had a similar thing where a girl reached out 'omg awesome!' Ignore it. Power move. It's literally an attention thing. I asked a female friend about this and she said 'that's the nature of IG" people just respond to stories not entirely wanting to have a conversation

Not to blow smoke up your ass, pal, (realise I've concurred on a few of your comments...) He's right, OP. I sensed a date going dry af this Monday just gone and by the end of it thought to myself 'eh maybe we're just not compatible' pecked her on the lips and left, told her, 'eh think I'll just go home now' after the date. I ended up getting a nude about 1/2 hour later.... lol... And the girls I'm really, really trying with have never done that. I suppose it is mad attractive when a guy has that…

/r/seduction23/06/22 03:09 PM

I'm tending to think it gives no room for mystery or them wanting more. Best to give them a bit, but pull away and leave them feeling/thinking 'fuck... I want more of this... I miss him... do I miss him? fuck...' you want to conjure that feeling rather than riding the date out dry. I think the only exception a good first date is long is if you've brought her back and you screw, otherwise, gotta be wary of the above
/r/seduction23/06/22 03:09 PM
3

Very good advice OP. Utilise this and try and meet other girls through her circle. You're never coming back from the friend-zone unless you lay-off and she somehow miraculously comes to you one day when she sees you're absolutely bossing it at life, but don't bank on it. There'll be other attractive girls who find you attractive. She's a drop in the ocean.

Seduction is a part of the ‘getting a girlfriend’ process too so don’t be so hard on yourself. There’s a lot of value in this subreddit and a lot of skills you’ve picked up (clearly) on the way. Just don’t pick up another guys girl again. Problem solved.

I've always found this a really interesting point, but don't give women too much credit. Sometimes women that agree a date aren't receptive, they're neutral, but willing to see where it goes. I.e. they'd rather be out that night, potentially have a few drinks and have something in the diary than sit at home, not necessarily want to get banged by that guy/fancy that guy.

Everyone's said it here already man, but might as well add my own two cents because I've had this a couple times too. I'm 28 too, ironically, although have had a few LTR's. I've got date 2's, date 3's, date 4's, lays, and fwb's being forward and haven't when I've kind of just layed back and allowed her conversation and the ease of the flow to dictate the pace of the date. I like this, but can this be applied to someone who’s really adamant they’re not going back to your place to have sex? I feel I have a 50/50 win/lose ratio with this. With some girls I’ll amp up the innuendos and have sex chat quite quickly on a date and they’ll agree to coming back to mine ‘but not having sex with you’ which they inevitably do. Mmmmm. Don’t agree. Consider this: girl from work likes you, starts messaging you. You don’t ask her anything, talk about nerdy af hobbies, she realises she had you wrong and actually you’re a dweeb. Attraction dips. Extreme example, but same can be said the other way too. Initial attraction, and then making her more attracted. Leaving her on read. Compliments here and there. Bit of push/pull, etc.

You’re preaching to the choir mate. I’ve had matches on apps where it’s been smooth as anything, I’ve not responded for a couple hours and I get unmatched. There is no right way to do it but I think there are things that can help

Oh mate, this is a tough one. Plenty of interest, but just goes cold... It's always best to strike whilst the iron is hot and the interaction is at an emotional *high*-point. I think you would've reduced your chances for flaking if you had booked in the date when she said the patio sounds nice. Having said that, don't beat yourself up. If she was actually interested, she'd come with. Most likely, you're competing against lots of other men and she's dating someone else instead that day (hence, no…

Yeah, all makes sense really... Just for the sake of debate, though, what's your take re: waiting times to reply, etc. there is an element of game-playing there. You might be available to text back right away, but you don't because you don't want to seem needy. By that very logic, you're not being you... if you see what I mean. What do you do/how do you not get this anxiety then. Apart from meditation, do you have any other methods/advice that's helped you?
/r/seduction16/06/22 11:15 AM

I used to think this. Playing devil's advocate, though, I think there's value in texting. Especially after you've had a date or two. Girls love to text. My pal showed me his Hinge, Bumble and WhatsApp the other day... it was absolutely popping. Paragraphs on paragraphs. Lots of rapport-building, in-jokes being made, banter, etc. and not just purely logistics-setting.

Thanks man, like this a lot. I think I compensated with the emoji’s because she’s foreign. I don’t usually use as much Yeah, these were my thoughts too re: not being interested. I’m tempted to call it out because I feel the ‘no’ is better now than later and it shows balls. I should also say she’s only been in the country 9 days so maybe doesn’t want to feel overwhelmed like ‘fuck, what have I got a boyfriend now or something?’ Know what I mean?

I agree with this. Up-voted. I think it's the way you made your initial point that's got you downvoted but I understand what you mean. I think you made the whole process sound a bit sinister. However, I can attest to never seducing a girl by basically saying 'hey, wanna fuck?' it's always a dance of words and subtle nudges in that direction unless you're in a relationship with that person.

In exactly the same position. Was toying with the idea of a date last week. She wasn't grotesque but nothing to scream from the rooftops about either. Plain-face. Not ugly. Huge tits. Borderline big. We had sex. I'd put her down as a 4/5, dependent on who you ask. I get the point made about confidence. I think you're wondering if it's actually detrimental because you're dating 'beneath you' and you can start to feel like you're actually at that level too. For example, I'm athletic and in great s…

Have you not mentioned yet where you’ll be meeting/what you’ll be doing? Inviting her over first thing is ballsy and I’d venture to say 9 times out of 10 you’re setting yourself up for failure. I’d exaggerate and go in the opposite direction. Something along the lines of ‘painting your nails and combing your hair.’ She probably knows / might be down to fuck but is testing you. Diffuse the situation with humour. Last thing you want to do is show thirst

Yeah 100. You know the old saying ‘too much of anything is bad for you’ You don’t want to be so much of a pen pal but you don’t want to not develop rapport either. I think the key is definitely in getting rid of the arbitrary thinking of: I must get her off the app within 5 messages Live in the moment. Relax. Let go of any expectation and go with the flow.

100 million percent man. I've been so wrapped up in logistics and getting her 'off' the apps for years and trying to organise a date quickly to minimise margin for error but just like the sentiments in your post it's the wrong way to go. If you're minimising margin for error there's bound to be a hiccup some point down the line. May as well develop rapport and build a connection first before organising a date otherwise you're actually increasing the likelihood she's going to flake. Why? Because …

submissivemami I hear that. This is a really interesting topic of debate actually. Not challenging you. I'm curious. What does it mean for you to be 'genuine'? Reason I say that? In recent years I've matured a lot and have learned to bite my tongue in certain situations. For example: if someone has pissed me off, where usually I'd tell them how I feel... NOW I calm down and address it diplomatically later. What I've found is that I've saved relationships that way rather than telling someone to f…

I think this means have some self-respect. Feel free to cry about something but don't dwell and take action to make it better. Don't mope around expecting things to change. Positivity and having your shit together is attractive. I can attest to what u/submissivemami has said. With my ex, I'd found out a colleague had died from cancer in her 20's and I cried and my ex hugged and embraced me. She didn't think poorly of me because of that. Conversely, when we came back from traveling together and I…

I've come to realise it's exactly like a muscle. If you step away from the gym for too long you won't forget how to use a machine (you won't forget how to talk to girls) it'll just be harder to push the weight you were pushing before (you won't feel as smooth/might feel a little anxious). I'm completely with you on sustainability, but perhaps try frame it a little differently. I've missed out on some girls I had serious feelings/crushes on before literally because of this very reason. And it was for that reason that you've just said. That feeling of 'not cooked enough yet.' Her boyfriend at the time was really well-off, 6 foot something an…

Exactly. It doesn't have to be a permanent 'fuck yes' or 'no.' u/bully_goobers you took your pedal off the gas when it wasn't a vibe but that didn't mean you blacklisted her in your mind completely. The 'fuck yes' or 'no' method is a way to preserve self-respect and to save you time. You moved onto other prospects during those first two months. It’s the reluctance to talk about the ACTUAL issue here for me. I’ve seen that there’s been a few women that have commented on this thread. I.e. ‘can I trust him?’ ‘Will I be judged?’ ‘Do I actually like him enough to go through with this?’ The problem is… this is all internal monologue and it’s off the chart bonkers because I imagine it’s incessant (one thought after the other). I learnt a lot about this in therapy bro. There's this thing in psychology called internal or external locus of control. As soon as you place more of an emphasis on your life externally you are 100% setting yourself up for heartbreak, disappointment and (as you say, insecurity). When you realise that all these girls are, are just people (like you) who shit, piss, pick their nose and fart too (when no-one's looking) that should give you the confidence that no one should hold authority over the wa…

It's so true. I'm guilty of it. I think we are just biologically wired that way though. It's not anything to beat ourselves up about and think 'why are we like this' it's just the way things are. Whenever a girl has not put out straight away I have invariably stuck the course until it happened and by that point there is some level of investment there. Some things just work and make sense. I live at hone with my parents and so does she. Fin.
/r/seduction10/10/21 01:57 AM

Amen and relatable but quelling the urge these days. I wouldn’t even think twice about airing my thoughts out on Reddit a few years back
/r/seduction09/10/21 06:47 PM

She’s so so fit on Instagram but not all that in person. Think if I liked her I’d find her attractive but it’s the whinging that’s put me right off LOL
/r/seduction09/10/21 05:26 PM
25

LOOOOOOL. This very well could be the case. She’s just a strange girl man. The hilarious thing is, right, is that she said the last date(s) she’d been on was with this Spanish guy. This Spanish guy ghosted her after the 2nd date because she was ‘hard to read’ What provoked this conversation was because I’D said she was ‘hard to read.’ What’s happening after this 2nd date also? No contact. I think girls need to realise that - yes, us men do NOT find it attractive if it’s all there on a plate but …

Yeah you’re 100% right. This other guy thinks he’s some Casanova who knows the secrets of the universe
/r/seduction09/10/21 02:20 PM
13

Yeaaaah man. I dated a girl like that too at 22. Forgot what she was like completely, and this girl just brought all those memories back. I think you’re all right. Drop her.
/r/seduction09/10/21 12:58 PM
3

Nah I’ve got a few more dates on the go so haven’t text her since
/r/seduction09/10/21 12:32 PM
6

Ah no I didn’t do that all to get laid brother. You misunderstand me. She lives on my road and my family know her family... if she was like from an app I’d be out of there. Thought the situation was a bit more delicate than that to go aggro with it. No need really
/r/seduction09/10/21 12:31 PM

I booked crazy golf for us so we had somewhere to be upon her arrival to the date, and I bookmarked two places in my mind of where she might like for dinner (she mentioned she liked Asian and Italian cuisine). We didn’t even set foot in the Asian place. We rock up to it, she turns her nose up at how it looks inside and said ‘noooo what about the other place?’ We turn up to this Italian (this time with a real nice ambience inside. Lots of couples etc. and - again - complained about everything). ‘…

Yeah this is it man. I’m 28 now. If I were 21 - 25 it might be a different story. If I’m not intellectually/mentally stimulated and it means hanging out more (more dates) etc, it just feels a bit slimey. If it were ONS vibes and we both knew what the deal was I’d be up to it
/r/seduction09/10/21 10:57 AM
2

That’s an interesting reaction if it’s a first date though no?

Not asking for advice mate
/r/seduction07/10/21 12:54 PM
1

Apples and oranges bro. If a woman said to me 'do I look fat?' of course I would be saying no. Life, interactions and social dynamics is complicated and nuanced by default. There is no one right answer. I want to caveat this all by saying I do not advocate playing games, but I do advocate being honest and not feeling like you need to hide a part of your life. That's the delineation here. And if you're single and you feel like you're having a down-to-earth conversation. My question is: well, why …

There's so many variables. I wouldn't be telling a girl after a 3rd date for example that I've got more dates lined up because, to be honest, I think that is taking the piss. However, if it's date #1 and it's going well and she genuinely asks you what you're up to that week and you tell her... that's fine. I'd almost say it's a good thing because if she has any objection to that, that would be a massive red flag. Ultimately, you're single, and you've got another date in the calendar. No crime th…

'take care' LOOOL I told the truth to these women, my friend. No manipulation done happenin' here. That was the point of the post. And I do disagree, I've had women tell me before that they might have a date coming up and in all honesty I respect the truth a lot more than bullshit. They've said it in a 'uhh not sure if I should be telling you this' kind of way not a gloating way. Tone matters.
/r/seduction07/10/21 09:31 AM

Merit to both. Agree that socio-economic bla bla bla should take precedent, but equally if you're not 'playing the game' don't expect to win.

I hear you my G. Like the energy 💪🏼
/r/seduction29/09/21 06:53 PM

Yeah I suppose I know what you’re saying. I’m not in a place where I want to get into a serious relationship though (still kind of getting over my ex, but just want to have fun and live my single life - that’s for sure what she’s doing also, I’m not sure there’s any salvaging that now. She told me she ‘didn’t love me anymore.’) See what I mean? Like, obviously it’s a plus if I really really click with someone, but if it’s just a fwb I want?
/r/seduction29/09/21 06:26 PM

Yep. Very guilty of this. Thanks man

Yeah good question... completely cold approaches (I.e. no mutual friends beforehand to ‘warm’ the whole process up a bit) probably like 6 Most have been met in ‘normal’ circumstances. Slept with my neighbour. Met people through friends at parties. Friends of friends. School when I was a kid. Work. And then other than that the apps. Out of those 6 all of them were night game and exchanged deets or one night stands. Apps probably around 12 and other than that ‘normal’ circumstances

Mate yeah definitely definitely outcome dependent and I think definitely pushing myself in terms of talking to ‘better looking’ women
/r/seduction28/09/21 10:09 PM

I’ve slept with 34 women 😅 I’m not sure why I still have this EDIT: I think it’s because I’m recently single and rusty after a 2yr relationship
/r/seduction28/09/21 09:53 PM

Thing is, I wasn’t faking it. En route to the table I thought ‘fuck, this girl is actually hot’ but maybe you’re right in the sense that when I thought that I should have been congruent and made it known I was into her rather than let the moment go. I thought I’d left the interaction on a high so that when I came back I could resume but alas

I think 1 out of 500 women, if that would ever make the first move irl and even then it’s about something innocuous. Had a girl come up to me at the gym once and said ‘are you using this?’ motioning to weights and smiled. And then acted all clumsy with said weight ‘oh I’m no good at this’ That was the move. I couldn’t be assed to escalate because it felt like me turning it ‘on’ when I was in workout mode and there were guys around me and I didn’t want to be judged (my own personal thing I’m work…

Couldn’t agree more! Love this post. Just thinking about all the times I’ve attracted a woman and it’s always only ever been when I’ve not given a shit and treated her more like a mate really. Still have to show intent by way of asking her out etc. otherwise nothing will ever happen for you but I think the key here (eureka, lightbulb moment) is for it to be casual and not too intense. Intensity can come later
/r/seduction22/09/21 04:20 PM

Disagree. No one obese is conventionally considered attractive - might be to some, but you’re limiting your dating pool by hugely significant amounts. On your point of mindset and how that boosts your attractiveness - agree - to a point. A fat person might be ‘nice to be around’ if they’re fun and don’t give a shit but doesn’t necessarily mean a woman will want to sleep with him if she’s got options. The whole things is nuanced because we’re talking about emotions. We’re not talking about simply…

Don't understand this - a woman who fucks a guy one time, stops, but wants to keep him around. Makes no sense to me. Clearly she isn't embarrassed to be around you in public and she's not repulsed by you otherwise she wouldn't have shagged you. Could it be that she's getting sex elsewhere and doesn't want to proverbially cross swords? (I.e. she's into this other guy more?) Look into it bro. I would stop being passive and definitely take action - however it is you want to do that.
/r/seduction21/09/21 03:25 PM
1

Are you sure it won’t let you? Yeah man that’s what I was getting at because I think it’d help heaps to see your approach but if you have to type it all out don’t worry
/r/seduction17/09/21 02:51 PM

Good for you! I think there's a difference between dropping a line like this when you're with someone and when you're first getting to know them though
/r/seduction17/09/21 10:58 AM
1

Interested to see what comes between the opener and the number close. I think you're seeing it as 'fluff' which is why you haven't posted any examples here, but to be honest, I think those are the most important steps
/r/seduction17/09/21 10:03 AM

This. It's what makes dating/seduction both fun and exhausting. The only way you win the game is by sparking emotions and committing your own emotions to it
/r/seduction17/09/21 10:00 AM

If there’s a life where we can be soppy, romantic, be nice and still yield results (I.e. get laid, and have women fall at your feet) please take me there
/r/seduction17/09/21 09:39 AM

Honestly I wouldn’t validate her too much. I’d say something along the lines of, ‘I thought you were cute and wanted to talk to you’

100 million percent - so well-put! And... also, dude... you're preaching to the choir. I have done what you have said also so so many times, it hurts to count. I've never actually felt desperate when giving chats more effort or another go, it's more from a place of frustration because I know my worth and would just genuinely like to get to know a girl. So when chat is stunted, I just try giving it another go. It's crazy how a pure-intention may be perceived as 'desperate' - but that's out of our…

Qúe? The ‘couple’ were not strippers they were civilians/regular folk that went into a strip bar for entertainment just like my pal and I
/r/seduction14/09/21 05:41 PM
1

That’s a good point! Although there was a lot of reluctance to explain away any of it. What is the natural conclusion you’d make from that? It screams ‘I am available’ If I were on a date and an attractive lady beckoned me over and I was reluctant to say I was on a date it’d be only for one reason...
/r/seduction14/09/21 05:39 PM

Nah man, I’m not sure it was a shit test...? Remember the guy had gone off for a lap-dance! The girl was alone and said to me whilst alone that that guy was emphatically not her boyfriend. Sounds like she was fair game to me, but him coming back, him being jealous and them already having a ‘friendship’ or whatever you want to call it clinched it and worked in his favour.

I 100 and million percent agree with you. I think my main takeaway here was do not be afraid to show emotion or ‘be vulnerable’ - I’m starting to really hate those 2 words but for the lack of something better... I have personally consciously steered away from showing ANY kind of jealousy because the community deems it an ‘unattractive’ behaviour but I think it’s much more important to show how YOU feel as well as making your date FEEL rather than trying to impress with words or just have a gener…

Whereabouts are you from? And, yeah, it's weird. I think it can work both ways. I've found it can be a massive turn-on for girls I've dated when I've been unfazed. I've been with girls who get annoyed at me for not being more jealous and I'm just a bit like 'meh - what for? What a useless emotion, if you're gonna cheat, you'll do it anyway.' Also - if a girl tries to get me jealous on purpose - it's a massive turn-off and I don't have time for that. With my first girlfriend when I was 17 or so a…

Dude, I completely know where you're coming from. Dating is a weird thing. As loads of people have said just try to 'enjoy' it. Its not simple. And I wish it was as simple as man meets woman, asks out on date, goes to bed together, but it's just not that simple. There are so many variables at play. Try to reframe your interactions as an exercise of her having to win you over. Careful, because this can send you too much on the spectrum of arrogance, but there is something to be said for self-resp…

Isn’t that just crazy? It kinda seems true, but the sex was great and she was into it... so it makes me question whether it was a a manipulation move... although everything points to that I forgot to mention but she also gave me a couple handjobs and we showered together too but this was early days, everything else was off limits to her!
/r/seduction08/04/21 08:56 PM

Yeah man, ain’t that mad? Reckon we’ll have to keep up that facade then forever? Just show a lack of interest to the ones we’re actually interested in? 💀 😂

You had similar experiences? Finding it’s a fine line between showing women interest but not being too available 🤔
