Just as the title suggests, really.

I was looking down at a text on my phone, and just got out of the lift in my apartment building. As far as I know there were no hot girls on my floor. I opened the double-doors, still looking at my phone, about to head into the hallway and before I know it she's standing there and I kind of go 'woops' and push the door open for her.

She says 'thanks' and then holds the door open for me once she's passed me, and I say 'thanks' back, but its only 30 seconds after when I'm already halfway down the hall that I'm like... 'she was hot...' and then I get crippled with anxiety to turn back and go say something.

My anxiety takes shape in the way of:

- you won't look natural now so best leave it
- you already said 'hi' and she didn't give you any strong IOI's
- what if I go back and start fumbling over my words

I guess the tl;dr is, how do you mentally prepare? I get this a lot where the woman has passed me and then my brain's like 'go back and say something' rather than spotting her prior and having more momentum because I've already decided that's what I want to do
