You're being trolled by your own wife. She messing with your insecurities. I don't see a point in your continuing to hang out with him. Go do your own awesome shit and stop caring about what she is doing or has done.

Physical: Just did first month on new program (Renaissance Periodization). I've been very happy with the program. I am also in the middle of a cut. I've lost about 5 pounds this month, and everything is starting to fit better. Cut will last two more months at which point I hope to be around 180. Reading I am starting all over again. This time starting with NMMNG and SGM Mental: Between work, kids, house repairs, finances, trying to fix up and sell my old house, and just taking care of shit, I am…

What program did you work out with while on their diet? I have some fat to lose (about 15 lbs ). Would you recommend jumping in with Mpt and eating following their diet templates?

Which mpt did you choose? Full body? Did you use one of their exercise templates prior to mpt?

Worth a try. I think libido may just be declining. My right hand has an SMV of at least an 8, but it doesn't always get the job done either. Maybe nofap is exactly what I need.

I would love to see their template in action. They should offer it as an app that we could try first. I don't mind buying it, but I want to know what I am buying first.

I did the 5/3/1 BBB for a while. It did work, but I got bored and I like changing it up. I don't ever do 1RM. My tracking app (jefit) estimates it instead. So that's what I try to beat each month.

Maybe. She's a passive aggressive starfishing cunty bitch sometimes and a bit curvy due to recent pregnancy weight gains. But I still like her. I am not ready to next her though. I will work on myself in the meantime.

Tlevels are about 600 since starting clomid (they were under 200) 2 years ago. I now avoid soy. I am not a good sleeper, but I am working on that by taking melatonin and using blue light filters on my phone at night and sleep tracking software. .

Physical: I finished the Renaissance Periodization diet book and now understand bulk and cut cycles, macros, and nutrient timing. I have clearly been wasting my time in the gym. I am a scientist, and this book was perfect for me. Based on the navy method, I figured my fat percent to be at 18%. I began my 12 week cut with the goal of losing 1.5 pounds per week. When lifting on a cut, do I continue to try for new PRs or just hold the line on everything? Social. I am still not drinking, but I haven…

Physical : getting stronger, and hitting new PRs weekly. All joint pain seem to have gone away. I am working on reducing fat. I purchased Renaissance Period diet books and I have been studying that to better understand macros and timing of eating. I will lose 1.5 pounds a week until I am down to 185 and then reassess. (currently at 195). Weight changes from quitting drinking haven't been as dramatic as others said they would be but I will stick with it for a while longer. Not drinking certainly …

Don't know if you are already doing this in your MAP, but try break up your goals into small actionable items. It's less formidable that way. For example, committing to putting $60 a week into a separate account you can't easily touch is much more manageable than a goal of saving $3000, but it will accomplish the same goal by the end of the year.

Physical : I have been using lvysaur's intermediate training program (from the fitness sub). It seems to be working very well for me. I have been hitting new PRs every week. Quitting drinking helps me get to bed earlier, but I still don't have good sleep habits and I wake up in the middle of the night. Lack of sleep affects muscle growth, so I am using sleep aids (zzzquil) to sleep through the night and a sleep tracking app on my watch to monitor my progress. Melatonin, ZMA, and valerian tea wou…

Great tips. I don't do any dips. I will start. And you are right about shoulder mobility. I need to focus on that. I decided to get the dumbbells where you just add plates. A used dealer has them at $. 50 per pound.

Physical : Seems to be going pretty well with lots of new PRs, but I have hit a plateau on OHP. I have now incorporated some dumbbell presses, but I need heavier dumbbells than 50lbs. I am thinking of buying adjustable weight dumbbells for my home gym and would be interested in hearing any recommendations. Forearm pain seems to be decreasing, but I picked up new shoulder pain. Some of the anger is clomid rage. There's a lot written about it. I had it at 50mg daily, but it reduced frequency when I switched to every other day and then went away over time. If it is anger that is disproportionate to the reason, you can tell it is Clomid. Extract yourself from the situation at the first sign and lift or run. It goes away after your body becomes accustomed to the higher t levels.

I mentioned last week that I was drinking too much. I appreciate all of your advice on cutting it out, and did. I cut it out completely and don't plan on drinking this month. So far it hasn't been hard, so I don't think I had a problem. I can tell I am more productive and less moody, so I should continue like this. If you have boys, build up a home gym with a power rack so they also learn to use it. I love my home gym in my basement. I put in a projector and watch action flicks while I work out. Thanks. I will check out that website. I also quit smoking cold turkey so I have no worries that I can do the same with alcohol. Unfortunately work events always involve alcohol (and some of my higher-ups have a distrust of nondrinkers) , and so that will always be a challenge.

Last week I posted about my alcohol issues. I don't know that I actually have a drinking problem, but it was interfering with work, lifting, and emotional state the day after a heavy bender. Hangover day would leave me being irritable and depression seemed to be a recurring emotion that I rarely had before. I passed some strong hurdles the past two days by not drinking on new years eve or at a New Year's daytime party. It was actually easier than I expected especially after considering Perseus' …

I need to get back into Owning My Shit. I am currently an MRP failure story. Probably because I half assed it. I have been a drunk, and very little captain. I am trying to reduce alcohol intake, but I keep failing at it. I know it saps energy, takes away from my lifts, and makes me irritable towards my wife and kids. I am not oak the day of drinking nor the day after. I have a reputation as a heavy drinker and life of the party, and my friends, family, and coworkers all regularly put alcohol on …

I actually read this while getting a tattoo. I am not sure you have the cojones to endure the process if you are that in her frame. But I have been there. I have gotten a few when I was younger because a girl wanted me to. Worst mistake ever. Women, even your wife, are temporary. Tattoos are forever. Make sure your knees are not buckling inward. My chronic knee pain actually went away from squats. Lay off them for a while and work on exercises that build muscles around the knee. Or lower weight and work on form. Front squats will help build up the muscles and generally use less weights. Also Go to a sports medicine specialist for knees. They never tell you not to work out. Extra points for picking one that also lifts.

Thank you. OP post would have been good if he didn't delve into politics. Red Pill is not conservative or liberal. It certainly is not anti science. I usually lean Republican, but the current Republican leaders are cowards. They are not men. They all let an orange fatty make personal attacks on their wives and families, and then kiss his ass and go to his house for dinner as if nothing happened. (I am looking at you, Cruz).

Been at this for 1.5 years now, only to have full realization this week after some great posts that I have been stuck in the anger phase. I don't know exactly how to get out of it. I got here through years of butt hurt reactions, whining about lack of sex. And anger. It is going to take me a long time to climb out of this. My wife is a cunty bitch too. So, I was reading crap like that. All it did was raise suspicion in me that my wife was about to have an emotional affair. Those feelings serve no purpose, and in fact kill abundance mentality. I unsubbed from relationships. If you even think that subreddits like that are motivation to be better or more attractive, then ask yourself if you are improving for you or for her. If it is for her, then stop and read something more useful (like the sidebar).

There is nothing wrong with covert language, just covert contracts. Covert language is everywhere, from batting of eyes to posture. Covert contracts expect the other person to know about and perform according to a contract that they don't even know about. Remove expectations that they will do something because you acted a certain way.

I don't think that was a test. Acknowledge good work by your wife as you would any member of your crew. That's part of leadership and reinforces your position as Captain. First OYS post in a few weeks. I admittedly regressed again into a BP faggot, forgetting all the material that I read over the past year. In the past month, I have been in her frame. Then grab your books, and find a late night coffee shop to read and socialize. If it's the weekend, go out and work on game. It builds confidence.

You are all over the place. You need to get a hold of yourself and spend more time reading and creating a map. First, do not treat comfort tests as shit tests. Automatic fail. Frame: Becoming solid this week. I have been calm, cool, collected with respect to everything even as my wife and kids are overemotional. No anger or rage incidents, and no arguing. I don't know how I previously missed the fact that arguing brings you back down to the rank of the person you are arguing with. Instead, I take note of their concerns, and say "I will think about it." I have been owning decision-making. Reading: Going very well. Listening to MMSLP at the gym, and reading BPPs book. I…

I did the wendler 5/3/1 route with joker sets and boring but big routines. I recommend it when 5x5 starts to result in injuries or long plateu. The five3one app on Android is pretty good, not as good as 5x5 app, but it works for me. Let me know if you find a better one. As far as your arguments, I think it is best to remain calm and collected and cool when her shit hits the fan, and then raise the topics for discussion on your own terms. Just respond with an authoritative "I will think about it"…

Talk to your lawyer. Offer in an email response to her rambling email to go to a marriage counselor. I would start a keto diet. You will lose weight quickly with that. Also Strong lifts 5x5 (download the app) and throw in walking a lot until weights are heavy enough. Also, buy some new clothes now. Just got my levels tested from PrivateMD labs. Testosterone is now in range at 1031, which is about 6 fold increase. LH is 23.7 (8.6 is the top of normal) FSH is 21.0 (12.4 is top of normal range) Estradiol is 91.3 (normal is 42.6) Are these supposed to by high when you are on Clomid? I am thinking of taking your advice about only taking 25mg. Maybe I will do that and check the levels in another few weeks.

I am going to assume those identifiable details are fake to avoid being doxxed. The red pill way is to lift and lead. You should take the COO job and let them know that you will also be doing occasional field work to check in with your team. If you don't like it, you can always return to the field.

I do too. It's very relaxing. The Audiobook is very different from the book by the way. I am exploring eastern spiritualism right now and learning much about meditation and focus. It's helping me build a very strong frame, both at home and at work. Redpillbooks has a large cache download of ebooks and I think it is in there, but it's one worth buying in paper because you should study it.

The concepts in the book are great, but this book really needs an update. Or perhaps it needs to be rewritten. Despite arguments to the contrary on this subreddit, this book is not an example of good technical writing. It has poor sentence structure, and the lack of cohesiveness within each paragraph makes the reader wonder what the authors point is. If a paragraph is just one really long sentence, then you have both a poorly written paragraph and a poorly written sentence. The writing style act…

I agree! Ive been collecting as many as I can so that i can listen to them again later. I Just wish WISNIFG was available as an audiobook. That one is painful.

Everyone starts somewhere. I am still a newbie and needed a dose of reality in there. It serves really a good purpose,. And. I am thankful that experienced mrp guys respond. I still read it daily.

You guys are totally right. It's a hard habit to break after years of anticipating her reaction to each of my actions.

Got it. I am good at shutting up. I am thinking that maybe she isn't cheating. She doesn't do the telltale signs like lock her phone. And I handle all the finances, so I would have seen something unusual. Her reason for going up there early could be that the conference starts early and she just wants to party early with coworkers, which is fine.

okay..that makes a lot of sense. It does start early on Sunday.

I like the consistency of his posts as well. But it is hard for newbies that have been betas for such a long time to see what works and what does not. I think I am moving forward, but it's great to have perspective of advanced users. I don't want to take two steps forward and one step back. I want to move forward as efficiently as possible. Otherwise, people wouldn't need coaches, experts, or ..wait for it... professors.

Still new to mrp, so please excuse this stupid question . Which book helps with game techniques?

This is a fantastic post. I am still new to mrp, and parenting. I actually have a 26 month old as well. How did you learn to do the count down and other discipline methods? Is there a book you recommend?

How about if I ask her next time if she needs a timeout? I may be able to pull this off with a smirk.

Working through the books now. I estimate that I will need about 10 months to turn around everything. I can definitely work on losing weight, and I need to get new clothes. I am probably about 10 to 15*pounds from looking really good. I need to work on updating my style. I used to date women who worked in retail and I always looked great. But I could use a style update now. I have been working on becoming Alpha again. On this trip, I ramped up flirting with others. We did have sex one night, but…

Yeah, I have been lifting for years and am in decent shape. I could lose some weight, but I started boxing a few months ago, and weighr has been falling off. Funny thing is that I have a fairly high SMV. I make a couple hundred thousand, and own my business. I get compliment on my looks regularly. Women already take to me pretty easily. Hers is pretty high too though. She just started making six figures as well. I read NMMNG and working on WISNIFG, and MMSP. I should be done this week. I think y…

My joke was awesome. She didn't even look up to see the hundred pack of condoms I was packing. That was just an example though. It happens a lot. For example when I am driving and I ask her a question in the car while she is playing with her phone. She snaps at me in a "how dare I ask her a question while she is browsing Facebook" way. It is rage inducing, but beta me either would snap back at her or would get pissed off.

Yeah, she doesn't need to know. No one needs to know. E books all the way. I use audiobooks for the car or gym, and a separate Web browser on my phone that she doesn't know how to access for links.

Thank you! Wish the clue app used more clinical lingo. Wasn't sure about fertile stage, but your description really helped. So, we're going on a beach vacation during the 14-17 day phase. I should take control and do lots of alpha type roles,. Got. It.!

Downloaded the clue app today based on this thread. Stupid question from this newbie, but can someone give me a primer on how to use it with respect to map?

Thanks! This is helpful. In my mind, It seemed like TRP ideal was a dick or overly quiet, or grumpy even. Sort of a Bruce Wayne or Clint Eastwood caricature. It's great to see that Hawkeye is still talkative and friendly. That's my natural personality, and I like it.

Update: night 3 Update: Night 3: She mentioned twice in passing how uncomfortable the couch is. I let the comment pass without comment or emotion. And we had a normal conversation today including planning a vacation. Everything seemed fine, and our housekeeper made the bed, with fresh sheets, and her pillow was back on the bed. We put the kid to bed. She got ready for bed, grabbed the pillow and went to the couch. I'm going to walk the dog while listening to audiobook version of the way of the s…

Got it. Definitely quitting or cutting back for a while. Despite binge drinking, I am in semi decent shape, but need to lose about 10 pounds to put me at my prime. I've been lifting for many years, and picked up martial arts a few months ago as well. I probably could lose it by cutting alcohol. I did put the pillow back on the bed. Our housekeeper comes today and would have put it back anyways.
