Anything child related could get altered at anytime if one party isn’t satisfied. However in Missouri and probably elsewhere, asset division is final. I recommend keeping the house. I paid her 45k, 20k gold asset, her car which was mine, her accounts and her belongings for the house , my brokerage and retirement accounts. She let me keep my retirement and signed everything. This isn’t amicable. My x and I had an amicable divorce. The lawyer has all paperwork ready, the parents plan, assets agreement etc. too many paperwork. They all need to be signed and notarized. He is telling me that he won’t be the one to notarize her signature in case she comes back sues him. But he’ll have a third party available at the office to notarize everything. We’ll probably notarize everything next week.

I think she knows that I love my kids and I do it for them bcs it’s my responsibility to raise them properly. She also knows how hard I’ve worked to get her. I have been so much in my life, a war in a different country when I was a child, poverty, immigrated to a couple of counties, lived in an immigration camp for eight years and I have overcome all that.
