How do they throw in the $50 million dollar set aside, without explaining how a child has $50 million dollars set aside for her? That's actually the most interesting part of the story.

Both parents have attempted to paint the other as unfit to take custody of their daughter.

I think the parent who hires a hitman to kill ther parent is unfit to be a parent. I'm just old fashioned that way I guess?

The ex-husband would have a pretty good case in family court if he wants to try to get custody, but "charged with murder" is not "convicted of murder." She's still innocent until proven guilty.

Well, she is still only charged. If you want her to lose custody you have to explain your criteria for people losing custody.
Also, 5000$ seems a pretty low price for a murder.
