I'm looking to save some good studies/resources that explain the gender pay gap in terms of life choices vs. discrimination. What are the best ones out...

But here's what I'm trying to get at: It's not a "gender pay gap".

It's a statistic that says that the average full-time working male earns X while the average full-time working woman earns .7X.

That's it. It's not a "pay gap" unless we also postulate that men and women are 50/50 representation across all jobs, experience levels, etc. etc. etc. Only under that postulation does it become a "pay gap". But that postulation is obviously not true, so the statistic in question cannot be a "pay gap" and instead is just random math that people are taking to mean something other than what it means.

What I'm getting at with this is that for the MRM to "disprove" the "pay gap" then feminists must first prove that it exists. It doesn't, so to attempt to "disprove" something which doesn't exist is allowing them to set the frame into non-reality and then we argue from non-reality.

Don't do that. Don't let them control the frame with bullshit. We don't need to disprove bullshit assertions based on their misunderstanding of reality. That's not our job. The MRM's answer to "What about the pay gap" should be "What pay gap? You haven't demonstrated a pay gap."
