Bystanders were merely calling her crazy and watching in amusement. If it was a man with the hammer, no doubt people would intervene and he would get appropriately stopped until police came.

not sure why this is here? if it were a 'crazy' guy with a massive hammer i would not go near him. I would call the police and let them sort it out.
