Most of these are just pictures of regular dudes with mustaches. Nothing particularly creepy about their appearance or demeanor at all. But whatever, male secondary sex characteristics are GROSS, amirite?

'Stache-shaming is creepy. Reading the comments in that album gives the overall sense of someone trying way too hard to degrade and mock, knowing full well how far he's stretching in order to do so. It smacks of having such a will to treat masculinity as something sinister and weird that the album owner must make up imaginary bases on which to criticize the subjects therein.

It's kind of a caricature of feminism's masculinity-shaming (treating masculine characteristics as contemptible by nature, as in the use of the term neckbeard) which I think looks like something a desperate subordinate would do to win favorable attention from some authority figure (boss, or other hierarchical superior.) The thing that makes it creepy is that the guy apparently gets where feminist activists are trying to go with masculinity shaming (attempting to demonize men,) but instead of being insulted, he's trying to fit in with it, like a cult member trying to please the leader. It's not that such make's him specifically creepy, but that it indicates the kind of brainwashed complicity into which male feminists might fall. That level of blind devotion in groups leads to the commission of terrible acts out of misguided loyalty.

I guarantee you that the person maintaining this blog is some little college student whose only track to talking to girls is to pretend to be on board with feminism and feminist ideas. It must take tons of effort to hold back his chagrin with being permanently friend zoned.

I don't really understand what the big deal is here. Some guys do look really strange/worse with a mustache. I get the guy went a little far with the insults, but thats extremely common on the interwebs, is it not? Why pay any attention to him?

Can some American explain that to me? Is everything you dislike creepy per default? I really don't get the concept of this word (non-american here)

Have you had family members die of cancer?? Have you grown a mustache for Movember? I have. I also earned $850 for the cause while doing so. My blog points out the irony: Some dudes rock weird looking staches all year round. Hard to tell November do-gooders from year-round Camaro drivers.
