Are there many teenagers in the MRM? I can't seem to find any.

I'm one at age 18. We're rare, I'll admit, and I think it's because a lot of material aimed at teens that covers gender issues has a feminist slant, and more to the point, a lot of teenaged feminists spew crap they saw on tumblr to their friends who lap it up without thinking.

I'm currently 17. I speak about the MRM with one of my friends and he seems pretty receptive towards it. I don't know a lot of people my age who are very involved in any social movements, so I'm not surprised that the MRM is mostly adults.

Another 17 reporting in. I've only discussed anything MRM related with one friend of mine who is particularly open-minded, and she seemed to take to all of it very well. I wouldn't try with most of my acquaintances though. Extreme Feminism seems to be prevalent in our age group already.

Consider your childhood. You and all your male friends were raised in a gynocentric, misandristic culture. Most (or all) of you were primarily raised by women.....mom, female babysitters, female daycare workers, female teachers (especially in your early years). Everything humans learn in their very early years gets embedded very deeply and it is hard to undo or unlearn. You all were brainwashed before you even knew what hit you. Then, your brainwashed behinds start going out into the world and the gynocentric culture pushes the same memes.

Personally, I don't think there will ever be a long-term solution for males until men are put back into chidren's lives. Long ago, children were around men on the farms. Before that, children were around the hunter-gatherer males. That is no longer the case.

The way it is now, with females controlling children, is a rut for males. No matter how much teens such as yourself or older men learn about men's rights, there's always going to be a new generation of completely brainwashed young males coming behind us.

As far as your wondering about teens into men's rights, I've seen a few, including on this subreddit. Sometimes they are frustrated with some kind of double standard they witnessed. Sometimes they were upset about being shamed or otherwise put down by people (teachers, friends, parents) for standing up for men's rights. Other times they are just curious.

At 17, most boys simply want sex and acceptance by pretty much any woman. The one's that are accepted don't care, the one's that aren't accepted usually withdrawl. Plus it's hard to break the indoctrination of a lifetime. Every politician, school and media outlet plays the same tune. Women/girls are good, moral, intelligent, perfect.

The message is the same everywhere.

Woman = angel. Man = Devil.

Any devil is lucky to have any angel guide him into the light.

I am 13. Strong believer in MRM. My brother who is 14 is a pretty aggressive MRA. He reads articles daily and rants to our family. I on the other hand am for passive, but ready to act if a case appears in real life.

Im 13 and belive in the MRM. I dont really talk to fellow 13 year olds, or anything political for that matter. Of course there are some people I have political conversations with, like my brother, but I have not brought the MRM up yet

I started doing MRM stuff when I was 14 or so. I wrote a pro-mrm essay for English class. I'm 22 now. In that time I dabbled here and there across many different activist groups, up to and including feminism, and though I have changed my opinions on most things I cared about when I was 14, I come back to the MRM because , well, it's right, and perceived as wrong. I can tell you, leaving the man-o-sphere as some call it, then coming back, will strengthen your resolve to help the MRM, and when you are 17, you should be out experiencing all sorts of craziness, tasting different viewpoints, and being a rebel. You may not find many teenaged Men's Rights Activists, but what you are going to miss out on in terms of camaraderie you will make up for with mental toughness.

When you get to college and you're hit with feminism, stop, consider what they're saying, try to see things from their point of view. Then, since you're smart, you'll see what's wrong with it, and you'll destroy them (intellectually speaking, of course). You may be young, but you've got a future. Don't get stuck in an echo chamber.

This is because young males ("boys") are still largely protected from the nastier sides of feminism. That's why I don't much like the emphasis on "bois". Boys may be treated less well than girls, but on the whole the victims of feminism are middle-age men. Boys are underage, remember, so as underaged they enjoy one degree of victimhood. Girls have double victimhood because they are 1) underage and 2) female (if they're black they have triple victimhood for belonging to a racial minority is a victimhood factor).

18 here. Always noticed subtle ways in which feminism was exposed to me and thus decided to research it. Things started to annoy me like people complaining that chivalry is dead and there are no more gentlemen etc. while they said that women should have equal rights. That was very much tip of the iceberg and I noticed many ways in which men were discriminated against and found this a great place to read about them.
