I hail from a country in the world where honor killings happen. In fact, my own mother was nearly the victim of an honor killing had my uncle not intervened to prevent her from being stoned to death; just imagine the movie Stoning of Sorya M. but without my mother being stoned to death. Instead all of her children were taken away from her and then ostracized from my entire family (clan). That was more then twenty years ago. Until her ostracization, she was physically, emotionally, and sexually abused by father every chance he got.

In addition to being witness to a near-honor killing of my mother, my nanny (second mother [not biological mother]) was taken away from me a few years after my real mother was ostracized. She (my nanny) was forced into an arranged marriage. I havent seen her in nearly 17 years.

At the same time as my nanny was taken away from me, I was forced out of my grandmother's house (breaking her heart in the process) by my father because he didnt want us to stay in my birth country anymore.

In short, three of the most beautiful women (character wise) were taken away from me by hateful individuals who happened to be men.

I grew up, as a male, hating other men; pointing to people and events in history and stating that men are horrible individuals while women have historically been more peaceful than us males.

This hatred of my own gender lasted for a very long time because after we geographically relocated with my father (thousands of miles away from my mother), he began to abuse us in place of my mother. The abuse lasted for nearly a decade. Throughout this time my hatred for men just grew and grew and grew.

My hate peaked when I finally found Buddhism and began to encounter other men in the world (in the West) who would never hurt a butterfly, let alone another human being. I began to open up my heart and reached a position that I continue to occupy and hold on to dearly today, egalitarianism. I became an egalitarian after realizing exactly what had caused all the misfortune in my life; religion and backward cultures that view women as property, rather than equal individuals who are men's equal in every area possible but different due to their anatomy; they have vaginas (or as feminists state: cunts) and breasts and we have testicles and penises and excessive body hair, etc, and etc. I realized that in an ideal world, which I was now in, no men would stand by and allow another man or women abuse any other being, regardless of gender and sex. This opened up my angry eyes beyond what I thought I was ever capable of.

Ever since my experience with my mother, nanny, and grandmother, and abuse at the hand of my father, who also hurt the aforementioned women in my life, I have never hurt another human being physically on purpose. I have never hurt a female physically or emotionally. In fact I hate my father (not his gender) so much that I am personally afraid to enter into relationships fearing that I might hurt my prospective partner even in the most miniscule way. I am just not a physically violent person. I could never be. I have seen so much violence in my life that it will and it does break my heart every time I see other individuals hurt each other with malice and intent. With that said, I feel so offended by feminists for the way they treat and view men, especially men like myself who are egalitarian at heart and have never hurt a woman. I am offended by the fact that I am jumbled up by some stupid theory (patriarch and rape?) and am accused of being part of the problem.

I want to make the world better for both men and women, old and young, adult and children, humans and animals, and so on. I want to make the world a better place in the memory of all those who have been hurt in my life. I want a better world.

But how the fuck can I make a different world, a better world, an equal world, when I am attacked by feminists for just being a man? You knowwhat this reminds me of? When I was in grade 11, I had a black female law teacher who told one of her female black students that "it is our time". I am not 100% sure what she meant with that statement but I infer that she meant that it is black people's time to rise up and take revenge on the white men or fight back against white domination. Feminists sound exactly like my racist law teacher. They feel that every single men on this planet are equal to the white men who enslaved all the black people in antebellum America, but in their place women. They feel like they need to fight back against an entire gender and deconstruct ideas that have been around for as long as women have been subjugated. I am not subjugating any women, so why the fuck am I viewed as part of the problem? By calling me out as part of the patriarchy and rape culture, you are essentially making an enemy out of me without my control.

To all the feminists who are reading this, take it from my experience and understand this; your fight for equality or whatever else that you want in life isnt against men. We arent the carriers of some disease unbeknownst to us called patriarchy and penis and rape. If I were to ever get married and have children, I will abhor my wife to allow me to be the stay home dad while she goes out and works (fight against traditional barriers), takes care of the child as much as she does, and so on. Your fight should be against religion which instills ideas into society, into both men and women, that their place is fixed; they should be subservient to a male god, know their place (womens domain = the home, men's domain = outside), and everything else that men like I have nothing to do with (I am an athiest) and dont want anything to do with.

So remember, if you want equality, I hope you want equality for all, rather than making equality in our contemporary societies just a female issue. If you don't, and continue to classify all men as part of patriarchy and rape culture, I want you to know this, you are no better than those racist black people who blame white men of today who have never owned a slave or been racist or benefited from slavery.

To my fellow MRAs and Female MRAs, and Female and Male egalitarians, I want you to know that I will continue the good fight with logic and reasoning and continue to extend our cause, because I know for a fact that our cause is one of the truest ways to prevent injustices being committed against people like the three women I aforementioned, all the men out there unjustly classified as patriarchs/rapists, and all the men who are fucked over by a sexist society that is further hindering both our genders.
