I'd strongly suggest this video series.

Don't have to agree with some, or even most of it, but if you reject all of it... I really don't know what you are doing here.

As a note, "In Mala Fide" is one of the site I cannot fucking stand. Hated that site, it was such a bait and switch piece of scum wrapped up in some weird misogynist/racist shit. The part about it that infuriated me was that it tried to be subtle about it as though that made it ok.

as for AvFM, meh, would never try and force it on anyone, but you shouldn't write off the entire site.

For example, This piece do you hate it? love it? think it's complete bullshit?

I personally try and read everything, even the stuff I don't agree with (at all), just to know what my opponents think and how they think.

Oooooooooooooooh, I can give some context here:

/MR used to have a very prolific troll by the name of "JeremiahMRA". This guy was the worst of what the community could possibly have. Racist, homophobic, actually sexist, a hardcore conspiracy theorist, and above all else, really, really stupid. Kind of like Bryan Fischer minus 70 IQ points. People complained to the mods about him, because he was making the sub look bad. His posts were not representative of the MRM, but were easy to single out to smear us all. Basically, our sub not banning him was construed as this sub supporting him.

After enough complaining, the mods finally ban "JeremiahMRA". Permanent? Temporary? I do not know. All I know is that he was banned. About a week later, another account called "JeremiahGuy" shows up. It's "JeremiahMRA" again. He asserts that he's turned over a new leaf, and will just be a productive member of the MRM. Fast forward 2-3 weeks and he's back to posting articles from "In Mala Fide" about how beating your wife/girlfriend will make your relationship stronger and about how equality is actually slavery for men, or some other such nonsense.

Every time someone established here criticized him, he responded with "It's k, I'm just a radical, our movement needs radicals". When criticism continued, he just threw a fit and called everyone who disagreed with him a "leftist" or accused them of being from SRS. I think he eventually got banned again.

I think "truthjusticeca" is insinuating that "trutastic2000" is another JeremiahMRA sock-puppet account, or someone of a similar mind to him and asking you to choose between rationality and the MRM, or stupidity and racism/sexism/homophobia.

I see. Well the answer here is quite simple.

I don't give a fuck about EITHER of the 'sides'.

Sure, there's some whacked out people here espousing racism or 'turning back the clock' or whatever. But there's also a lot of Gender Ideologues who are trying to characterize the MRM as 'Feminism for Men' that I find every bit as abhorrent.

In fact, the whole Jeremiah vs 'r/mensrights' is really better characterized as ridiculous traditionalism vs ridiculous progressivism.

BOTH sides are talking out their ass.

Frankly, I'm sick to death of both perspectives, and I resent the shit out of both sides trying to pigeonhole me, or 'claim' me.

I am anti-ideology...that means DISCUSSION, not declaration by authority, is the way to go.

The mods are censorious, sanctimonious babies, and the 'traditionalists' (which they are not...Oz Conservative is a traditionalist...but I digress) are every bit as onerous.

But frankly, only one of those groups feels entitled to decide what is relevant to this movement FOR me.

And that is why I attack them. And I won't stop until they do.

I'm not on ANYONE'S 'side', but , for example, Gareth is a FAR bigger threat to this movement than Jeremiah....by a wide fucking margin.

Well guys like me don't fear discussion because we don't fear the truth. That's what we're here to find. You may know I was a moderate liberal only a few years ago when I was posting at The Spearhead and Mens News Daily. I changed my stance because of the information I learned. I listened to what people told me, evaluated it, and came to my own conclusions. Back then the Spearhead guys were educating ME. So they might call me a traditionalist or a conservative now, but that's only because I have done the research and come to the conclusion that traditional values are most beneficial. I still ask people to honestly argue otherwise, to show me an alternative. Most of those who try inevitably resort to twisting things to suit a preconceived notion, and it's painfully obvious to guys like me and you when they do. And heck, you and I disagree on some things, but we can at least have a discussion about it. It's the same reason I get along with GirlWritesWhat. We can disagree but we can still have a discussion, a rational discussion where we don't spew bullshit and lies.

The other "side" is censorious because they know they can't back their arguments up. Censorship is the only way they can "win". They avoid a rational discussion like the plague. It's always game playing, lies, manipulation, obfuscation, straw man arguments, and other logical fallacies with those people. After all they tried the logical argument thing almost a year ago and they lost. Ever since, they've gone on a campaign of censorship and harassment precisely because they know they can't win a rational argument.

To me this isn't about winning some silly argument on the internet. It's about finding a path forward that doesn't result in widespread injustice and tyranny.

The only "side" I take is the side of truth. And there are a LOT of other people on the other side of that line who don't want to talk about harsh truths, and who therefore don't want to actually fix the fucking problem at all. They'd rather just talk shit. Those who try to censor the truth, they are as much my enemies as feminists.
