Thank you, and I speak for myself here. We don't need apologies. We need support. Support can be as simple as asking your fellow woman when she demeans a man if that's what she would want for herself. If that's what you do, thank you, and all the power to you :D

It seems as though you have no reason to apologize. You are not involved in it, and holding you responsible for what others do, simply because you bear some similarities is completely absurd.

For example: as a young German I refuse to be held liable for what happened during WWII. I realize that it was horrible and should not happen again, but I refuse to "physically pay" or "make retributions" to show how sorry I am. First of all, I was not around back then, had no part in it and the size of my family decreased by more than 1/2, simply because some were sent to camps, war (at 16, or the rest of the family gets it), or bombs. Yet, I am often labelled as a "nazi" when I travel to the UK/Ireland.

This is exactly the same: you are not offensive to men or women. You treat everyone as a human and with the dignity and respect they deserve, hence you have nothing to apologize and deserve to be treated with dignity and respect as well.

Honestly though, there are scumbags in both genders, some worse than others. There are good feminists and there are good MRAs who both strive for (true) equality. However, there are also bad feminists and MRAs who want their gender to be dominant (i.e. "feminists" who enjoy the idea of cutting off penises and "MRAs" who are into DV). You can very well switch genders in your post and it will still apply; it sucks, but thats the way it is; everyone should strive to change that.

You are not associated with "them"; hence you do not have to apologize for "them". Hold your head high, you are a wonderful woman.

I think the best purpose this can serve is to show that there are women who do support men's rights, although this is generally understood. As it's been said, no one can or should have to apologise for their gender.
