Be sure to read some of the reports, specifically the one about "the use and abuse of restraining orders".

Title IX - Read the "controversy" section of the article. Note that the Commission on Civil Rights released several recommendations on Title IX policy to address what it termed the "unnecessary reduction of men's athletic opportunities." In short, the (feminist loved) proportionality requirement forces colleges to have an equal amount of female and male athletes, which force many colleges to cut mens teams enough as to "artificially" increase womens participation numbers (cut enough mens teams and it appears that womens participation is increasing). This prong is known as the "safe harbour" because it guarantees colleges wont be sought after by women's groups (mainly the "Womens sports foundation" and the "National Womens Law center" two orgs that absolutely love Title IX, but deny it is doing any damage to mens sports programs).

April 4th "Dear collegue" letter - A policy not a law, which reduces the standard of proof required to convict a male student of rape all the way down to "perponderance of evidence" (anything above 50%) and allows the accused and the accuser to appeal the results of a hearing, which subject the accused to "double jeaopardy" (which isnt allowed in US law).

Not USA, but Canada...

In a country where male genital mutilation is openly practised and common, yet FGM is exceedingly rare, we have Section 268 of the Criminal Code of Canada explicitly protecting only females:

Section 268

(1) Every one commits an aggravated assault who wounds, maims, disfigures or endangers the life of the complainant.

(2) Every one who commits an aggravated assault is guilty of an indictable offence and liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding fourteen years.

(3) For greater certainty, in this section, “wounds” or “maims” includes to excise, infibulate or mutilate, in whole or in part, the labia majora, labia minora or clitoris of a person, except where

(3)(a) a surgical procedure is performed, by a person duly qualified by provincial law to practise medicine, for the benefit of the physical health of the person or for the purpose of that person having normal reproductive functions or normal sexual appearance or function; or

(3)(b) the person is at least eighteen years of age and there is no resulting bodily harm.

(4) For the purposes of this section and section 265, no consent to the excision, infibulation or mutilation, in whole or in part, of the labia majora, labia minora or clitoris of a person is valid, except in the cases described in paragraphs (3)(a) and (b).

I think (this is my perspective, not that of r/MR as a whole or anything) that it's less laws are biased against men and more that the legal -system- is.

Let's take a look at some laws.

Child Custody

The law states that "In cases of divorce, the court of jurisdiction for the divorce proceedings also determines child custody arrangements. Under the common statutory provision, if the spouses have children together while married, the parents have joint guardianship over that child and the parental rights are equal. Each parent has an equal right to the custody of the child when they separate." source

Yet we see women given 92% of child custody in the event of a divorce. That's an obvious bias; especially considering even the US Government says that women receive more in both child support payments and also are more likely to be less well-off than the father.

Circumcision Issues

Go google "female circumcision" and your top results (past wikipedia, which for me is result 1 entitled "female genital mutilation") will all be organizations blasting the act of circumcising women. Meanwhile, google "male circumicision" and many of your top results will be about the act of circumcision, the benefits, the way it helps deal with STD risk, etc. Yes there are links that fight against it but overall, cutting off a piece of a man's penis is considered all well and good in the United States. If a religion claimed they should do this to women, people would be on the street calling for a public lynching of this barbarian.

Selective Service

Until women are subject to the draft and are given the possibility of being forced to fight and die for their country, this will always be unequal.

The Violence Against Women Act is written against men in both title and pure written word. The wikipedia article I linked to has the full bill inside near the top, use that for your actual source if you don't believe me.

I can go on but these are several of the -biggest- and most common legal issues men face in the USA.

Rape laws in the United Kingdom. You can only rape someone if you have a penis according to them (although there have been women charged with rape in the uk, but it is very rare).
