Recently I commented on a post regarding circumcision, and that I don't think it's a big deal. Some people replied, some with good comments to counter argue, others with not so good arguments. It made me think, is this subreddit moving in a healthy direction, concerning whether or not the extremely valid point is being argued correctly. I really don't think it is.

Don't just instantly down vote me into oblivion because I'm calling some of you out, but you argue like a bunch of stereotypical feminists. That's not a shot at feminists either, believe what you want, I don't care that much. What I'm saying is that most of the comments were regarding morality, subject changers, or were straw-man arguments. When a person has a different opinion than you, and you decide to argue for the sake of arguing, you should at least do it with respect and merit. Don't just call the person a monster for saying they were glad they were circumcised, and are going to do it to their future sons, but give reasonable and well explained arguments as to why it's such a shitty idea. Don't be hypocritical in arguments.
