What is hilarious to me is how blind the author is to the other cause of men 'not doing well' in life; the active DIS-incentive towards marriage. Do none Of these authors understand that if divorce becomes frequent enough, and destructive enough to men, those men will simply stop walking into the meat-grinder?

What a dumb fucking article. Sex rates are up, therefore all the values most women like in men are down... Getting married, making more money than the women, settling down, etc... Has it occurred to any of them that men do less of those things because it's not in their best interest? Men care less about marriage, settling down, and making more money than women... As a result, sex rates go up. It works both ways, and I think it makes more sense that there was a cause, and not that men just got horny all of a sudden.

I look forward to this future. There needs to be more waiting to start a family, to get financially stable and well on their way on their saving plan before they introduce kids into the world.

For crying out loud, this author interviewed a 20 and 21 year old for comments on the lack of commitment from their boyfriends? Seriously? Is the author from the rural south or something? If you get married that young you are a massive idiot. Late 20s, not mid but late, is the earliest anyone should think about getting married in this current era.

Men know how expensive a wedding is, an engagement, a honey money, kids, etc... So they are no NO hurry to finish school, find that career job, and/or settle down. The women I know in my life think this way too, but it's clear that there are plenty of women and white knights who think getting married in their early 20s, starting a family, having a degree by 22, and getting a career job is the way it's done... Maybe 20+ years ago. Any degree worth getting takes at least 5-6+ years for the average student, especially if you are working part-time. And '08 has taught everyone that jumping into debt and a mortgage the moment you can afford it is fucking stupid.

The significant majority of fluff degrees are rewarded to women, they will fare well in their 20s with it with respect to men, but in the long run, the average educated man is going to out earn the average woman. That will only increase exponentially when they are in their 30s and start a family... Because who is going to take the brunt of the house and family work? The parent who makes more than the other? No. Even in the event the women makes more, women, in general, still like raising their kids more than men. No man should have an issue with doing it either, especially if they make less, but, let's face it, pregnancy and infancy/breastfeeding is far more demanding of the mother. That's just the unfortunate reality... So, in general, women should really NOT want to have kids in their early-mid 20s, because there goes any realistic possibility of financial independence. However, women need to find that partner in their 20s or they are going to have a harder time finding a partner in their 30s, with respect to men in their 30s. Why any guy in his 30s would marry some young hot chick whose going to lose her prime within 10 years and he'll be stuck with a dependent wife or ex-wife + support payments... Beats me, but we're horny bastards :D

Women need to get on the same page as men, find a boyfriend if you really want to feel safe and hang onto him, and then they should both just focus on education and a career til their into their 30s before they start a family. It should not be that men need to go back and revisit traditional gender roles so that we can keep increasing the divorce rate that rewards women lucratively (and thus they initiate 75%+ of them) and be shackled down financially for 20 years... To not even get to start a savings plan or develop their adult life before making a commitment to alimony and/or child support.

Unfortunately, a lot of women did get fluff degrees, a LOT more than men, and many of them went to higher education just to find prospects. Yet even as women outnumber men in the higher education, and make up significant majorities in the less lucrative faculties, they are still minorities in the faculties like engineering, computer science, commerce, business, etc... The men who didn't go into higher education have the opportunity to go into the labor industry which, if you are available, has lots of high paying jobs. There is a shortage of skilled workers in the labor industry in the West.

Our generation is an enlightened bunch, we have seen the atrocious family courts at work for the past 2-3 decades that tore up our families, and we have seen how unstable the economy is... As a result, we're all very fucking wary about social and financial commitments. And if you aren't, you're a dinosaur.

I love that study. Not many women accept no-strings sex from some random dude off the street with a blatant offer of cock. It's not some sign of higher morality because it's a bullshit study. The novelty of women wore out long ago. They're just not that entertaining or interesting. There's much more to life than sex and relationships. That's also why the value of sex and relationships are quite low and are sold cheaply by women. It's those who fail to understand and adapt to that who aren't contemporaries.
