I love how they are being all progressive and shit by showing a gay couple but they totally ignore that half(probably more) of all domestic violence is committed by women.

I think the problem with shit like this is that the message focuses on the ones who do the the crimes. There are already laws to discourage people from doing these crimes, so ad campaigns aren't really going to do much to prevent them. Posters like these only detract from women being responsible for their own well being, which doesn't help them at all, and only reinforces the idea that they have no agency.
