I'm sorry for the assault she endured, but how she feels now is the same countless men feel when their wife cheats on them, divorces them, moves in with the new lover, takes the kids with, and is awarded thousands a month in alimony or spousal support. It's a sick, fucked up system. Hopefully now she sees why it need to be changed.

Man I had this discussion with my girlfriend for at least 2 hours last night, this shit would be ENTIRELY eliminated if Alimony didn't exist. Any self-respecting person would turn down alimony, it's insulting to the recipient especially, it's like saying they're too stupid to support themselves since they lived with you.

A good example of how women manipulate the "justice" system. First she falsely accuses her husband of rape and gets him thrown in prison for years, now she cries foul because she's a poor woman who has to pay alimony.
