The following individuals meet the requirements for troll flair as specified here:

Posts that either misrepresent the person's own views in order to create hostility and anger, or are off-topic and antagonistic messages in order to create hostility and anger.

IgnatiusLoyola seems unwilling to abide by the troll flair guidelines since he doesn't like me, just like he didn't abide by his own rules for the LGBT logo competition which I rightfully won. Could you maybe talk some sense in to him and start labeling actual trolls with troll flair? Thanks.

I'm sure they will. And not because I deserve one, but because ignatiusloyola is stubborn, and doesn't like it when he's made a fool of. AnnArchist will support him in a show of solidarity. I fully expect it.

In the mean time, real trolls will continue to waste everyone's time, and the moderators will sit back doing jack squat about it. And why? Because ignatiusloyola hates me. It's very childish.

The sad thing is AnnArchist won't even recognize how ignatiusloyola has taken a dump on his idea of giving trolls troll flair by refusing to label the users above trolls, even though they obviously meet the description of a troll. Basically, ignatiusloyola is saying AnnArchist's idea was shitty, but he doesn't have the gonads to tell him straight up.

ignatiusloyola loathes me so much that even though every time NiceGuysSTFU makes a post it is a troll post and is heavily downvoted, he still won't give him troll flair simply because I reported it. It's juvenile.

The real question is: What exactly do the moderators even DO here? Since kloo2yoo left, the sidebar hasn't been significantly updated. All that's happened is a regrettable LGBT month that's invited loads of trolls here. The moderators don't ban obvious trolls. They don't give trolls troll tags. They tell us that when someone trolls we should click the "hide" button. They don't answer reports. They don't label users trolls. Honestly, they don't really appear to do anything but harm to the men's rights movement and attack people like me who point out their incompetence.

If the moderators actually did their jobs, posts like this wouldn't be necessary.

Kloo2yoo may have had his flaws, but at least he actually gave a shit.

Prior to feminism, there was a lot of class warfare, Rich vs. Poor, just like today.

Feminism came in spurts in the beginning, not "waves" (that most recently is a generational measure) but times where rights of women became the national discourse in their respective countries. Sometimes the events of some countries would inspire others.

After the 60's, during the birth of radical feminism it was no longer about how women needed to be represented as more than "parts" of a family unit that was lead by men (patriarchy) it became "women are individuals" despite still being part of the family unit.

Before women's suffrage, it was 1 family 1 vote. That vote was cast by the head of the household, the man. The reason why the man was seen as the "head of the household" was because the labors of the man/father was what provided sustenance. During this time Federal government wasn't even in session year round and even politicians went back to their homes to take car of their own businesses. [Edit] Addendum- He was also able to travel to where he needed to to discuss politics. Men were more educated because of everything that follows. They had more TIME to be educated. This did not mean women were stupid. Take Emily dickenson for example, While she attended some formal schooling, a large portion of her education came from her own initiative, She also gave up most romantic endeavors and she never had a family of her own. The "trade" back then was much steeper because of how long it took to do anything, including school. There were also societal pressured (nothing to do with patriarchy) where women who did not have children were looked down upon and pitied, not by men, but other women.

The representative (voting) nature at the time was as such. Each family had a vote. (1). Offspring males would leave home and start families for themselves. Offspring females would get married off and become part of another family unit.

In these family units there were no luxuries like free time, baby formula . Baby formula, surprisingly, is part of what lead to women being able to leave home and work if they chose, along with the advent of refrigeration, men usually were the breadwinners because mothers (women) NEEDED to stay home to care for the children, no one else could supply sustenance for them.

There was no electricity in something like 90% of the homes in the US in 1900. Both mother and father worked and were tired at the end of the day. During the industrial revolution men had the advantage as most everything in the job world was based on physical strength.

Men didn't go out and earn more money than women because they were purposely oppressing them, despite what feminism spews. Women stayed home because they were best suited to watch and take care of the children. Men went out and worked because they were best suited to make the most money (base mainly on strength).

Moving on: The great depression, everything sucked, and it held back breaking out of gender roles because once again, it was a case of "who is the best at what job?".

World war II: After returning from world war 2, Men got a huge boost. Want to know how?

The GI bill. "The oppressive menz" got to go to school because the government thought it a good idea to educate what was left of the male population by rewarding them for their sacrifice.

The "boost" or "head start" you see in education that happened between the 1940's till "60's feminism" was because men went over seas, fought, some died, the fortunate ones lived. Those OPPRESSORS!

Finally, when infrastructure (electricity and appliances), Science (Birth control pill and abortion) and the economy (Leaving the industrial age "strength" and entering the post industrial age "mind") came about, the environment wasn't so strict in necessary roles that it was even POSSIBLE for women to function effectively outside of the home.

These are the broad strokes of societal progress, and in broad terms women were never "purposely oppressed" and anyone who believes it won't even look at history.

Feminism had almost nothing to do with women becoming more successful, most of the "opportunity" that women have been "given" (really discovered) came from science and technology.

Feminism just twisted it all and rides the coat-tails of inevitable progress reaping political power.

Because you are so stupid, it's apparent I need to explain something to you.

When I said the following:

Let me drive on over to my job in a sterile office, that's so much better than chopping wood with the beauty of nature around me, and a wife and kids I know won't leave me destitute. Haha.

I was speaking from the point of view of your average Joe. By how I phrased it, you had no reason to presume I was talking about myself. It was clearly ambiguous.

I don't even have a wife or kids, though I am engaged. I already saved up and quit my office job to move across the country.

I assign no blame, I only state the truth, and not for my own sake, but for sake of all the other men out there who are missing something and don't even know what it is.

I'm sure with your little brain you won't understand me. But it felt good to lay things out there.

...you want to know the worst part about your strawman there?

It wouldn't change men's situation much at all...except for the better. I mean think about it:

We're still obligated to be a breadwinner (if we want to stay married) We're still obligated to protect (and women are still largely our responsibility, at least in the eyes of the Law) We're still forced into rigid definitions of acceptable masculinity (only now we allow women to define masculinity, complete with competing definitions)

So what would we gain?

Well, assurance that when we marry and have kids, we will remain so (by and large), and the kids would be MUCH more likely to actually be his. Reasonable expectations that women won't ditch her husband with the first 'better offer'. Lack of systemic obstacles to educational and financial success (outside those presented by challenge and competition).

Basically, men have experienced zero relief from 'the bad old days' and lost nearly all of the compensation they were once entitled to for the responsibilities and risks taken.

A regression to 1900 would be a boon to men in nearly every way.

And you can't deny it.

The point, however, is that this fact should illustrate to everyone just how far apart the propaganda and the reality really are. This should anger people, not make them pine for a return.

And this alone is proof that Feminism has never, and will never, take mens perspectives into account, and is therefore useless to men.

I wasn't trying to group them together. I've never seen your posts before so I don't think that you have an antipathy towards both feminists and women. Just trying to piece it together from what I'm reading. Sorry for misconstruing.

As to disagreements, well, you should at least try to be understanding of disagreement. Calling people wrong and stupid gets YOU, the conversation, men, women... nowhere. It's not just unproductive, it's counter-productive.

That said, I saw some of the other posts about the Mods and it looks like it's willful ignorance and pandering to shit-stirrers and trolls to protect imaginary people ("LGBT men who didn't feel represented/ welcome here") even though there was nothing impeding them before except their own willingness. (Or, inability to get upvotes, like a left-progressive in r/conservative who is simply a minority voice).
