By telling boys that all they want are one thing, doing so may actually encourage them to devalue other aspects of their life and relationships furthering their servitude to the all powerful pussy.

When society insists that men only want one thing, a thing that is sensationalized as being wrong even as it is slathered all over our daily lives, it makes men and men's concerns easier to dismiss. It encourages disrespect and the thinking that men can be controlled by that "thing". This kind of thinking is harmful to everyone. It enourages women to not trust men and they are rewarded for their bias because of the entire fallacy surrounding it, thus keeping laws that favor women during court procedings intact and untouchable. It's a disgusting cycle.

It's more the 'men are disposable' idea. Does that perception stem from their seeming desire and disregard of risk in procuring women? Dunno.

The root is deeper in my opinion: the "men only want one thing" is just a special case of "male sexuality is bad" which itself is coming from "men are evil".

The decades-old smear campaign of lies, spearheaded by feminists has basically left the general public with an appalling opinion of men:

men are considered as violent (never mind that women commit 50% of domestic violence, and over 90% of school fights in American schools are girl-vs-girl fights)
men are considered as pedophiles (never mind that being attracted to a healthy fertile female is a perfectly normal behavior, and Romeo and Juliet were 14 yr-old or so)
men are considered as perverts guilty of sexual harassment for looking at a girl with her tits and ass hanging out, but having your tits and ass hanging out in the workplace, is somehow not considered perverted or sexual harassment
men are considered dangerous for children (never mind that biological fathers are protectors of their children, and have an absolutely incredibly positive influence on them)

I cannot emphasize enough how important it is for the men's movement to correct this misperception, for history has repeatedly shown that when a group of people is vilified in the public opinion, human right abuses are just around the corner, because no one will stand up to defend the untouchable class. Men have already lost many basic human rights (such as parental rights, property rights, right to due process or presumption of innocence), but things could very well get even worse if public opinion about us does not change..

Some men on here (i.e., this sub) seem to only want one thing, but most men want many different things. I don't see how the "men only want one thing" standard applies to court hearings, though, exactly.
