Can we get some flair up in here?

I know that it can be turned off by individual users but to my knowledge can only be granted by the mods. So, this won't work for branding known trolls.

I do think it could have some effect by allowing long time readers to stand out and be privileged in this community. With all the trolls around we do have a bit of a problem with remembering whos who, as was noted in a recent post, due to the fact that it is difficult to keep up with 25k online names.

Many subs dedicated to specific issues put restrictions on the content of flair, a example would be some of the sports or gaming subs that restrict it to team loyalties or game handles. We could do something similiar. Just a idea.
