Yesterday, I made a comment about how I wished sexuality were a choice because I prefer the company of gay men over straight women.

That made me irrationally uncomfortable. I feel like I'm being silently judged by the "man court" for repeating it now. I fear for my "man card".

I think it may depend on the area. With clothing/fashion, there's obvious bias. It's socially acceptable for a woman to wear a suit but less so for a man to wear a dress. However, I've noticed that it seems to be the other way around in other situations. For instance, if a male CEO fucks up, he's a singular fuck-up. If a female CEO fucks up, she's an example of why women as a whole shouldn't be CEO's and you get lots of sammitch jokes. I'm not saying everyone has that view, obviously. Just saying that it depends on the particular area you are discussing.

Feminists rationalize this one with "it's because people look down on being feminine, so women who are masculine are respected but men who are feminine are attacked because of sexism against women"

They've got a rationalization for everything. There is nothing a feminist can't spin into more victim claiming.

The people who are most supportive of little boys being able to paint their toes pink are women. It's not an accident that the mom was painting her son's toes pink, not the dad. The vast majority of people who are concerned about the feminsation of boys are men, no?
