I'm writing this here because I know what I would do if a guy insulted me constantly, but with women it's a bit delicate.

So, here's the thing, I live in a dorm. I'm not from a very developed country, that means that the dorm is poorly built and the wall dividing my room from the room beside it is almost literally paper thin. That means that you can hear nearly everything from the room nextdoor, form regular talk, to burps and laughter. There are 3 girls in that room, they are loud, they play music at midnight on a workday, etc. Me and my roomates never complained, we don't give a fuck. But one day while talking to my roomate I heard horrible curse words coming my way. My native tongue is a lot and I mean a lot richer with curse words than English and I know she was cursing at me because she threw in a few things about my home region, she knew I'm from there because of my specific dialect. She used the most horrible words possible, including god, jesus and whatnot. At first, I didn't think it was aimed at me but then I realized it was. I wasn't sure why she did it, she mentioned something about talking in the morning (it was 10 am) in her rabble. I forgot about that soon, I decided to take no action.

The second time, while I was on my laptop, I also heard similar words coming from her. I didn't know what did I do but I believe she went mad because of the sounds I made with my chair a few times and then she started dragging her chair around the room, yelling ''fuck your rock 'n' roll'' (she listens to some kind of horrible folk music) and then she played Metallica at 1 am, really loud.

Anyway, this shook me quite a bit. I don't know what to do, she is obviously crazy. I could drop to her level and yell, I could kick her teeth in, which would only bring me additional trouble, I could threaten her, which might not suceed. I don't think that reasoning with her will help either. I thought of maybe recording my talk with her and then reporting her to the dorm managment for verbal abuse.

Frankly, I'm at my wits end, I could really use your insight. Thanks.
