That's why I hate the talks about sexual objectification which only center around women. By the commercials I am supposed to think about one all consuming thing. Accordingly, I'm reduced to the point I no longer think about having a good time, being their with friends, or even thinking about the risks I take. Basically, my mind is taken from me.

But that's just not true in reality. I'm surprised at how often women think I care so much about some randim hot chick. At times I do care but its just not nearly that consuming or frequent.

I'm not sure to what extent women think of me or men in this way. I often hear what sounds like their checking to make sure I fit the exaggerated stereotype. I think sometimes their just trying to joke and relate to my assumed "sex obsessive" but other times their trying to make sure (confirm) that my sex drive is very high. I've had a little fun with this in the past by saying things that undermine the stereotype, then watch them defend it.
