This quote speaks VOLUMES. Every once in a while, a feminist slips up and reveals the true nature of feminism. This feminist, Sen. Hancock, has no interest whatsoever in equality. What she wants is "ladies first", and thus men last. She wants special treatment because she's a woman, plain and simple.

That article goes on and on saying how budget cuts affect women more than men, but doesn't list even ONE example of an unfair budget cut. Instead we get a rundown on how many men vs women representatives they have. ???

Give me some facts to work with, not just empty blustering.

I wonder if anyone has done a study of how much of public funds go directly or indirectly to benefit women vis-a-vis men.

The funding priority for battered women shelters (BWS) should be the highest, because human life is at risk, and because BWS's keep the good people in and the criminals and the murderers out.

Just you wait till the Feminist lobby makes this logical leap:

"Because in the range of 80% of the jobs lost are those of men and not women, the burden of budget and service cuts should be of 80% of the services for men over women."

I already see political movement in this direction, they just haven't openly made the statement. The feminist lobby (not surprisingly) blames the unemployment of men on dragging down their own earmarks and budget prospectus.

It's disgusting.

California has more to worry about than budgets based upon being male or female.. If the Dream Act goes through, expect a big rush on the state taxpayer funded universities soon.
