This is interesting. I wonder what kind of things it is responsible for, perhaps the increased prevalence of either genius or retardation in males? I'd like to see a follow-up once this is better understood.

Mens rights issue? I don't know. Feminists are all for empowerment and taking pride in their biology. Why not us, too?

The understanding of science and genetics shown in this comment thread is pretty piss poor.

"men" aren't evolving faster - the species evolves as a whole, since we reproduce sexually as opposed to asexually.

The Y chromosome doesn't contain much other than sex-specific genes, so before we're all "OMG THAT MEANS WE R TEH SMART!" ... realize that it likely has more to do with genes that control the kind of sperm you produce than the kind of brain cells.

Don't conflate this as proof of superiority, like the 'feminists' everyone says have said about the Y chromosome's demise.

Simply put, there is more variation in males than females. The best to expect is more carbon copy feminists and innovative genius, idiot, lethargic, hard-working, ground-breaking, space-faring males.

This is interesting as it appears that women are superior even when men should have the genetic advantage. Likely because men are trying out a lot of genetic dead ends. As a matter of fact I suspect a lot of these genetic dead ends are posting here!
