This is a reminder for myself and everyone who’s been through this. Never stay in a bad relationship too long. The time you invest into it will make it harder for you to leave.

Differences only get bigger as the relationship progresses. The idea of learning to accept each other’s flaws is often mistaken for being dismissive of their flaws.

People will never change for you and you shouldn’t change for them. It will only hurt you in the end.

Never give anyone a second chance. They’ll only treat you worse than before.
