Seeing the ICMI2020, I feel this what we really lack of in the men's movement. Being able to approach and convers with our "enemies" (not all feminists are against men's rights, quite far from that) with empathy and questions rather than arguments. Because the truth is usually, especially in emotionally charged topics, which gender rights is, people don't change their mind based on arguments. But they can do based on experience. If we were to show them that we are not all mysoginists trying to back to to the state were in the 60's and explain calmly what men's issues are (without bringing in straight away discussion about why they are wrong about the semantics of patriarchy/toxic masculinity and so on straight away) i think we would have much more success in de-diabolizing the movement. Unfortunatly when I see the latest International Conference on Men's Issues, we're quite far from that, seems like it was mostly the International Conference on anti-feminism.

Still, this level of charisma may be very hard to achieve I think. Or maybe I'm overrating the difficulty.
