I've encountered quite a bit of homophobia and fetishisation from feminists over the years as a gay man. So unless feminism is also an extension of misogyny then I don't see how they connect.
Also friendly reminder that Radical Feminism only became popular because Valerie Solenas tried to murder a flamboyantly gay man.
It's essentially the same as any other fetishisation. Lots of women are bad with that towards us gays, but feminists in particular are bad for it. Essentially they treat us like non-threatening sexual objects. We're attractive but because we lack an attraction towards women, many think it is fair game to make comments towards us, and some will even scope out "gay best friends." We aren't really their best friends of course, they generally just view us as a way to flex to others and as a way to vent about girl problems. Many others will view us as "one of the girls" simply for our sexuality, but without realising that it erases our maleness (which is extra fun is youre gay and trans) and gayness. However, any potentially unsavory thoughts and opinions by gay men which are said around or to this type of woman, are at best ignored and at worst turns you into a target of harrassment (learned this the hard way).
