The bill had overall strong Republican support. Those who felt selective service should discriminate against men were a minority.

A very relevant point the author omits is that a federal judge ruled that exempting women is unconstitutional. Regardless of how one feels about women registering, the fact is equally including women is in line with the judge’s ruling. Continuing to exempt women would be unconstitutional.

People should be free to voice their disagreement with a law, but it’s hard to argue we shouldn’t follow a constitutional ruling.

I sort of understand their point, wanting to protect women (because women can have babies) . . .

HOWEVER

. . . Feminists have demanded equalty, and that means that women get drafted too.

Here is your &%$#@! equality Ladies. Stop treating it like it's a buffet: "Equal pay, yes we'll take that. Pay for the movie? Fxck that. Draft? That's yucky . . . "

These are the same "Conservatives" who said nothing as the DOD allowed women in all combat positions. How can you scream Women are equal in everything, deserve to be eligible for all Military jobs but a potential draft is only for Men.

This is just another example of Female privilege. They want equal opportunity but not equal responsibility.

In my time when I served in the military, I've seen many women serve along side with me. At some point, even my wife as well. Many men and women do it. So why is the draft all of a sudden a problem? People are really ridiculous.
