I always have to wonder if women like this are running a grift. It seems bizarre to me to be so against your own equal rights and to be so willing to cast aside humanity, especially when she’s not coming from a religious angle. However, there’s a huge right-wing/MRA audience that eats this stuff up. It came out a while back how some of the popular alt-right content creators didn’t even believe the shit they said, there was just a ton of money in it.

This woman is exhibiting something that I like to call “political prostitution”— siding w men to be the “cOoL gIrL” & to get views and attention. Doesn’t want to be seen as your “typical feminist” girl. Her political opinions are more guided by what will make her stand out and look uNiQuE than that is actually right. She needs to pause and actually think critically about what she’s saying.

The girl is clearly brainwashed (no hate, we all were at one point). How can she sit there and deny women’s oppression when she clearly spends a ton of time and money on makeup, hair, and wardrobe to appeal to the male gaze? Does she feel like nobody will pay attention to what she’s saying if she doesn’t look attractive? Does she feel like men will only stop and watch the video if she grabs their attention by being attractive? Is she striving to be the “hot conservative chick” political pawn for the right; aka Tomi Lorens replacement (even Tomi started to wake up from the brainwashing eventually when she made that video complaining about men).

This woman reminds me of my former self and it makes me cringe. Being the “cOol gIrL” will get you NOWHERE.

Regarding voting. No sorry men starting and fighting wars don't disprove women being oppressed in the past( also funny she basically gave away that it's not just a gripe with modern feminism, but even the women who were merely fighting for voting right had it wrong, even when women were pretty much men's property legally/socially). Just like white people suffering from their own problems don't disprove that they oppressed/ owned black people. At the end of the day, even the most down trodden men could still trod on their women.

Just goes to show, no matter how bad,how obvious the oppression, women's rights never were and will be supported by these sorts of people. Hell, even India has an ever thriving MRA/ antifeminist movement, with a significant number of men and women( they pretty much say the exact same thing. The same regurgitated talking points) acting like men are the ones really oppressed in India. So the whole disingenuous " what about real oppression in India and Afghanistan!" isn't even consistent...
