It’s because men, or more specifically, marriage to men isn’t a financial necessity to women anymore. Not so long ago women couldn’t even have a bank account without a spouse as a joint. But now women don’t need to rely on a man to be financially stable, meaning for a lot of guys to get a long term relationship they actually have to be attractive and likable to the women they’re interested in. And to be frank, a lot of guys just don’t cut the mustard in being likable or attractive.

And I’m not saying that women should lower their standards, guys we need ti step up our game. Do some personal growth. Get a hobby. And for the love of god don’t say sexist shit and expect to be liked.
