So let's dive a little deeper into that chart by playing a little bit of pretend. Let's say I'm something like an aircraft maintenance engineer and in charge of a small team that looks for vital problems in critical parts of the aircraft. One day, I get a new employee that just happens to be a woman with no prior experience with these types of inspections. She has a massive lack of self-awareness and thinks she's the best at her job and need to prove herself to the men in both this line of work and the rest of the world.

I'm not allowed to explain what she's supposed to do because she hasn't asked me to do it verbatim and independently, which this chart tells me she has to do in order for me to explain this to her. If I ask her "Do you want me to explain this to you" I set myself up to mansplain which is also not allowed in this chart.

Now onto my point. Her first aircraft to inspect unsupervised is a larger airliner, like a Boeing 777. She is inspecting the engine and fails to notice an almost microscopical crack in a fan blade, which is easy thing to miss if someone haven't explained to you what to look for. The aircraft is cleared and sent back into service. The following day it's sent over the Pacific Ocean with 400 passengers on board. The fan blade with the crack on it is now spinning at a solid 15000RPM. It suddenly fails and the fan is sucked into the engine while cruising over the Pacific. The engine fails, the aircraft is too far away to make an emergency landing and can't call for rescue service because there's no ATC over the Pacific. It ditches safely into the water, but without rescue the passengers either die of drought or starvation or gets eaten by sharks.

Who gets the blame for this? Me. I get fired, sent to prison and ridiculed for not explaining this to her by the same media that would get me fired for sexism if I would have mansplained this to her.
