Idk. I’m almost 28 and dating now is actually harder than it was in my early 20s. It’s easier to date especially around college age because youre around peers of the opposite sex more often. As you get older, you have to be a lot more intentional if you want to date.

Dating in your 20s:

More free time
More social opportunities (gatherings, parties, etc)
Biological peak of your life
Little money and resources (unless your parents are rich)
Some still struggle with social skills, fashion, attractiveness, acne, etc
Social alienation if you wanna get an escort
Often unnattractive to a good amount of women (mostly based on looks)
Difficult possibilities to explore your options in other locations

Dating in your 30s:

Much less free time (bills to pay, schedules to attend, etc)
Less social opportunities (your teenhood and youth friends have to feed themselves and care take of their families if they have one)
Slightly pass your biological peak
Considerable more money and resources (except if you're poor)
Most men are mentally developed by this point
No social alienation if you wanna get an escort
Still sometimes unnattractive due to a lack of both resources and looks (most women work and earn their own money)
Easier possibilities to explore your options in other locations

As you can see there're both advantages and disadvantages

Personally I'd have liked to date during my teens, both looks and resources play a much lesser factor.

They are saying that because there is still some residual pressure for women to settle down, but the evidence has gotten too obvious that there are no benefits to women of having children and only risks, so younger women are really thinking it through. That's the indecision you're detecting/encountering.

IMO the crossover point is around 24/25, prior to that most women are dating just for fun and not seriously looking for mr right. Only by age 30 do they start getting desperate for someone to have a wedding party with.
