You mean if women have sex with some of the largest, most skilled lovers over the course of their life, that the person who happens to be their husband might not satisfy them as much? Shocker…

[–]majestic_tapir -2 points-1 points0 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

The link you have provided has nothing to do with what you've stated.

It provides a review of divorce rates for couples who have had 1, 2-3, 4-6 and 7+ partners. It does not reference men or women specifically, just people in a partnership who have individually had sexual partners. So if I'd had 1, and my partner had 7, we would not qualify for this study. If I'd had 4, and my partner had 6, we would qualify.

It also compares college educated to non-college educated, and shows that college educated divorce at lower rates under the same sexual partners concept.

This study provides no conclusions whatsoever, all it states is that more sex partners = more chance of divoce, whether you're male or female.

It's also a study which uses data between 2006-2010, which is most definitely outdated at this point.

[–][deleted] -1 points0 points1 point 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

This is nonsense.

It's like saying religious fundamentalists have the happiest marriages because they never get divorced.

Correlation is not causation.

[+]woolencadaver -45 points-44 points-43 points 4 years ago (19 children) | Copy Link

I cannot believe yours is the highest comment here. Body count. She's not a fucking sniper you twat.

This issue has nothing at all, to do with the number of sexual partners anyone has. It's about a space for one partner to tell the other about their level of satisfaction. And the dynamics that feed into that.

I don't know why we can't all just admit men take 5-10 minutes and women take 10-15 minutes to satisfy. Build that into sex education/ expectation. When you cum it ain't over. Its literally that simple. We don't need to have all this aggro. Men: Expect to Keep At It after you Cum. That's just the physical nature of the situation. And wear a condom. Women already know this shit. Sex is rarely over after she cums, if the situation was reversed. Once, twice, maybe. Mostly, the fella cums first.

If we all just admitted this is how orgasms work, men and women would have much better sex lives. I don't think we have to fight so much.

[–]Maldevinine 13 points14 points15 points 4 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

Isn't sex education what you do every time you get a new partner? You know, a period of learning each other's bodies and preferences so that you can make each other happy?

But I've largely found women to be no help in this. I'll admit I wasn't so good at it when I was younger, but as I get older I get better about listening to other people and accepting the differences, but they don't get any better at actually using words to communicate, and doing so clearly and effectively.

You are right that we do need to talk about the difference between the genders for how orgasms work, because they are very different. For men there's an outright endocrine crash afterwards which combined with the physical exertion of sex itself, means that the only thing you really want to do is go to sleep.

[+]woolencadaver -17 points-16 points-15 points 4 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

You gave a gentleman fellows experience. What might be a lady friends?

[–]Maldevinine -1 points0 points1 point 4 years ago* (4 children) | Copy Link

From what I've heard (mostly from fanfic writers discussing smut, because that seems to be the only time that they'll talk about this honestly) they're much more full body experiences and generally more pleasurable. The male orgasm itself is more like a sneeze, except the sneeze comes out the end of your penis.

There's also the idea that women's are more mental, i.e. you need to be in the right place mentally to be able to orgasm. I think that's not a sex difference but rather a gender difference, as men are taught more about separating emotions from actions and so are better able to compartmentalise sexytime (for lack of a better term) and so have an easier time getting into the correct mental state.

[–]woolencadaver 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I think I came off a bit snarky in my responses to you here, it wasn't my intention, I was more musing. I didn't realise it at the time. I often expect a big negative response on this sub, which to be honest I always get, it makes me defensive at times. Not your fault, thank you for your response. Anyway.

If I can speak to women's experience, right, if they insist on the sex still going after the endocrine crash, it can seem a bit desperate. And women = desperate doesn't look good. So they don't do it. They're playing the long game to train this guy in so he knows how to pleasure them.

Then, the talking. Women find it hard to communicate what they like because if you come off as demanding or sexually confident the man can ( not all men) feel sexually insecure, or think you're "too forward"( they wonder have you fucked the world, essentially or will you be too domineering). That's strong I know but often guys like to feel in control. That's not always true but even quieter guys often enjoy being dominant in the bedroom. I've had two close partners make fun of me for years for being upfront about what I wanted. Don't feel bad for me, I used the same dynamic and made fun of them into figuring out how to pleasure me too ( none of it was mean spirited but looking back there's definitely a better way to communicate.)

So I still do communicate ( no longer in jokes ) and it's easier now but back then it seemed like such a hard thing to say in case the person took it badly.. There is an added level of embarrassment around sex for both parties. You want to be satisfied but you don't want to hurt feels.

It must be frustrating for men too to know they haven't satisfied their partners. I think we need to normalise that conversation after the man cums. Get a buzzy toy for the clit and a dildo and get involved, enjoy the show.

[–]Maldevinine 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I don't see why you were downvoted for what you said. Yes you were less polite in how you worded things, but if you've been around this sub for a while you'll have noticed that we're not particularly polite at the best of times. You were not doing anything we don't do.

[–]woolencadaver -4 points-3 points-2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Is a lady orgasm so rare

[+]woolencadaver -7 points-6 points-5 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Hmmmm. So. Is your experience of a gentleman fellows orgasm is a sneeze out the end of their penis and you're still maybe wondering/ waiting for a good description of a lady orgasm?

[–]GreenFire317 5 points6 points7 points 4 years ago* (5 children) | Copy Link

You know there is this thing called the refractory period? It's when the dick gets soft after cumming and is the time between erections.

"KeEP aT iT AfTeR yOu CUm"

Yeah... smashing a soft dick on the outside of the pussy... feels fucking amazing let me tell you.

"Women already know this shit"

Obviously not or else they would help their partner help theirself.

"Sex is rarely over after she cums"

You're clearly missing the point. Women not getting to cum/orgasm, because they want to lay there and fake it like they have. They are doing that to theirselves and blaming men.

[–]majestic_tapir -5 points-4 points-3 points 4 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

I get where you're coming from, but I feel you've also slightly misunderstood where the posted is coming from.

You don't just have to smash your dick into her, you can use hands, fingers, mouth...toes probably if you're feeling it. The build-up and journey is as important as the ending, and it generally takes a learning period with any partner to figure out how to make it excel.

For men, it's easy and women never have to figure anything out. You stroke it, it's good. It's literally that simple. Stick a finger up the bum for a prostate massage if you're feeling fancy.

Women vary probably a little more, in that not all of them orgasm from penetration (minority apparently), and that external pressure is better.

Education done, onto the not fair bit. The emphasis is on the man providing the pleasure. Which is pretty fucking difficult considering women are so different. It's a major difference when you meet a woman who knows what she wants, and what pleases her, and is willing to just tell you. Makes life so much easier. Outside of that, communication is key.

[–]GreenFire317 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Doesn't sound like you get where I'm coming from. Your second paragraph sounds like the basis of your entire response to me. Which is just.... ignorant sounding.

You don't just have to smash your dick into her, you can use hands, fingers, mouth.

Ofc you don't just ram a dick in like a little 2-minute jackrabbit. Idek how you got that conclusion out of anything I said. That is for either quickies or the most boring sex.

Sexually educated people call the use of your hands and mouth "foreplay". The thing you do before sex. And I guess during or after if you're okay with slurping down your own cum. I assume most guys aren't, for obvious reasons.

[–]majestic_tapir -2 points-1 points0 points 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Yeah... smashing a soft dick on the outside of the pussy... feels fucking amazing let me tell you.

Well, the fact that you posted this certainly made me go down that route. Because you seem to think that after a man has cum, his only option to continue to please a woman must be to smash a dick against her. He couldn't just....go down on her and finish her off that way? Use his fingers, kiss her thighs, make it a bit about her after you've had your fill?

Sexually educated people call the use of your hands and mouth "foreplay".

No, sexually educated people call it sex. People who base their idea of sex based on what they've seen in porn call it foreplay. Does sex also have to have a standard workflow? Handjob -> Blowjob -> Play with tits -> Cunnilingus -> Missionary -> Cowgirl -> Reverse cowgirl -> Doggy -> Lay back feet in the air -> Cumshot on her face whilst she's kneeling?

And I guess during or after if you're okay with slurping down your own cum. I assume most guys aren't, for obvious reasons.

During, involves your own cum? Sure, may be some pre-cum mixed in there, but what's a bit of pre-cum between friends. After may do, if you haven't used a condom, and if you came inside her as opposed to on her, or in her mouth, or any other various options. As for tasting your own cum, maybe men should get a bit more used to this? Most men seem to find it acceptable for a woman to taste herself, but it's abhorrent for men to do the same?

[–]GreenFire317 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Wow your ignorance is unreal. Im done being civil with you. Just fuck off you ignorant slime. You literally just repeated exactly what i said but reworded with synonymous terminology or phrases. Like... Come up with your own argument you dipfuck.

[–]majestic_tapir -2 points-1 points0 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Wow your ignorance is unreal.

Really? About what?

Im done being civil with you.

You weren't really civil at all.

Just fuck off you ignorant slime.

No

You literally just repeated exactly what i said but reworded with synonymous terminology or phrases.

No, I didn't. I actually went against a fair amount of what you said, do you want some reading comprehension assistance?

Like... Come up with your own argument you dipfuck.

I did.

Do you also need some anger management assistance?

[–]Taylor862 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Dude how are so many men downvoting this answer 😂 they’re just speaking facts. They’re literally saying “hey dudes after you cum maybe help your Gf cum too” and they’re like “no how dare you!” Lolol just shows the level of egotistical behavior is straight sex on the side of the men. Dudes just need to get over themselves and step upa

[–]woolencadaver -1 points0 points1 point 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Anything that isn't actively against women is downvoted here. Folks here read that article and blame the women for not telling them they're unsatisfied. When the article is about how they feel like they can't. Yet again - a communication issue.

And the more important factor is that there's bound to be a disconnect - men cum faster. So get a dildo, something buzzy for her clit and finish off your partner. If finishing her off is part of what makes you a man ( to you, that's personal!) Then do it. Sure, you've cum, you're tired. It's polite to make sure.

You don't need to be hard, you can have finished yourself, you're just finishing off the job you started. Get on down there and ask.

[–]Taylor862 -1 points0 points1 point 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Exactly thank you for saying it. Some people point out blatant facts on her and since it’s not blaming women or either uplifting men it’s criticized harshly on here for no reason. There’s a lot of men on here that have a lot of valuable things to say about men’s rights but it’s always just drown out by men who want to complain and blame women for their problems

[–]woolencadaver -1 points0 points1 point 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I would love to actually talk about men's rights here. You can find good points here, for sure, but they get no attention. The top comments ( and that's a stretch) are always some toxic arse just eager to blame women.

[–]West-Sharp -1 points0 points1 point 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Your stereotype that men don't continue if they finish first is just that, your stereotype. I've been a straight sexually active man for 20 years, and no, this is not a concept I've ever struggled to understand. Please stop lumping all men into your stereotypes.

[–]woolencadaver 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Stereotype? I was basing it on my own sexual experience. And of course it's not every man, or women for that matter. But good for you! Tell your boy friends your experiences and tricks. Ask your girl friends if they're vocal about what they like. Talk it out. The more we normalise talking about pleasure the easier it becomes. Maybe you just always got it but given how frequent it is and unspoken, not everyone does. It's nothing to be ashamed about. Well, unless they don't care about your pleasure in which case yes. That's pretty shameful.

I do tell my girl friends to be vocal about what they like. You wouldn't believe how many came back and said the guy didn't seem to like it. But that's why I tell people to talk about it. If it's normalised people will feel more open to be vocal and won't feel insecure if they are told. A better future for fucking!

[–]rabel111 14 points15 points16 points 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Women who lie to their partners about their sexual arousal/orgasm are sabotaging their relationships, and more likely than not, have been dishonest about the relationship from the get-go, partnering with a man they believe the woman they want to be would partner with, rather than being honest with themselves about their own identity and who they find attractive. When they are finally exhausted by pretending to be in love (and lust), they blame their partner, citing the oldest feminist myth of all, that men are solely responsible for a woman's lack of sexual fulfilment.

[–]Necessity-- 5 points6 points7 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

you know what?

They get in a relationship where their material needs are fulfilled and sex isn't the priority.

Why you may ask? because she can always find another one to satisfy herself if her official partner doesn't.

It's much easier for a woman to find another partner than for a men.

So most of them as long as they have financial security they have no qualms to switch partners in secret.

This generation brought up a generation of wh..... and diggers.

[–]GreenFire317 2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Not whores, sluts. Whores get paid. Sluts fuck for free.

[–]LettuceBeGrateful 19 points20 points21 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

"And my immediate thought was, it doesn't matter, because if a woman senses her partner is insecure, she's never going to tell him the truth."

So she chooses to date an insecure guy, chooses to avoid communicating her discomfort, and then she chooses to perpetuate the cycle indefinitely?

I've had a fair bit of experience with both individual and couples' counselors, and NONE of them, even the one who outwardly called herself a feminist once, would put up with a woman saying this shit in session. In fact, it was the self-identified feminist who was the quickest to shut her down.

And yes, I did read the article, and I'm aware that some of the doctors who were interviewed agree with me. I'm just venting.

I’d like an article about how men aren’t satisfied with women in bed, but we deal with it anyway for fear on not getting laid again.

also to say that women peak up at 40yrs old about sex

While men 15-30 so while we have high libido women are shy and then they're up for it we're done

[–]bilgediver 3 points4 points5 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Women don't peak at 40.

They are just more desperate at 40 because it's literally the end of their fertile years.

Maybe men should just idk get better at sex? Straight men have the most orgasms of any orientation yet give out the least.

[–]squawker11[S] 2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (11 children) | Copy Link

Of course they should- not matter what men do it's not good enough for the person who just has to lay there expecting to have everything provided for her and all she can think to do is criticize and complain- pass.

[–]Taylor862 -1 points0 points1 point 4 years ago (10 children) | Copy Link

What kind of work is the man doing besides humping something for 7 minutes if that. Is it sensual? Personable? Romantic? Sexy? Probably not. The woman can’t make a good situation out of nothing if all the dude is doing is getting his dick wet and shaking his ass for a bit. Partners work off of each others energy. You need to set the stage my guy

[–]squawker11[S] 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago* (9 children) | Copy Link

If you're trying to prove my point you're doing a great job- by the time he is at this point he has asked her out after trying to compete with her 500 app matches (risking rejection/humiliation/arrest/expulsion/firing- we know how women like to put guys on blast), must meet the lengthy list of requirements, (height/hair/income/6 pack - live at the gym/D size/hair), pay for everything dinner/drinks/entertainment etc and on and on- and the second she is "not satified" it's all mens fault. Meanwhile she will smear a pound of colored clay on her face and assume a posture of superiority who I should be exstatic should she deign to so much as ackowlege me? Pass.

[–]Taylor862 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (8 children) | Copy Link

What are you on? That’s not all women lol not even the majority think that way. People have different types and want different things from/in their partners. Listing off a bunch of stereotypes and assuming that’s the expectations of every woman just shows that you haven’t had many around you in the first place. Don’t you have female relatives or friends?

[–]squawker11[S] 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link

what I am not on is dating apps- clearly you think none of what I point out have no basis in experience- but why would you? do you look at womens dating profiles? the entitlement mentatlity is off the charts long after their ability to make such demands left the building. 90:10 rule.

[–]Taylor862 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

What is the 90:10

[–]squawker11[S] 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago* (5 children) | Copy Link

90% of women are only interested in the top 10% of men- until the looks start to fade then they will deign to "settle" for you- problem is the guys she thinks she can settle for are not interested. They seem to think that men will jump through all their hoops to get treated with contempt- does not seem to be working.

[–]Taylor862 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

Oh god that’s such an incel thing to say dude lol and looking at dating apps won’t give you an accurate representation of the actual dating world and the way it works. Look up actual studies and you’ll find that people are dating/marrying at all ages. This idea that women are too picky until they get “old” (aka 30 for most people who believe in this 90/10 rule) is ridiculous. And it’s not 90/10 anyway. What you’re referring to is called the Pareto principal and it’s 80/20 not 90/10. Educate yourself with something other than Jordan Peterson videos on YouTube

[–]squawker11[S] 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

If men aren't interested in women over 30 then who is the incel "dude"? I suggest you look up "actual studies" and you'll find the marriage and fertity rates are at the lowest since records have been kept in the west. Pareto principle is irrelevalt- it is the ratio that matters- can be any 2 numbers that add up to 100. Based on all your demonstrably wrong statements, its clear that you are in no position to tell anyyone to educate themselves.

[–]BaddyRio 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link

Yes, because it’s easier for men to orgasm. Women can literally lie there and do nothing and a man will orgasm easily.

Maybe women should take some initiative. Communicate and maybe actually touch themselves and help themselves get there for once. Other than a woman allowing a man to put his dick in her, he is entirely responsible for his own orgasm. It’s time women take responsibility for theirs.

It’s statistically not easier for men to orgasm more than women. You can look that up. Also you need to look at how many orgasms gay men and women and straight women give. It’s a partnership. Maybe men shouldn’t be the selfish ones in the bedroom, but the way you put it makes total sense as to why men are so self centered during sex “they are only responsible for their orgasm”. Sex is a two way street my guy. Otherwise your just masturbating with a persons body and that doesn’t make quality sex that women want

Yes, it is supposed to be a two way street my guy. And yet straight women virtually do nothing in bed. They lie on their back or on their knees. That’s it. Which is why straight women need to take some more initiative in bed. Men are responsible for their own, so why shouldn’t women be responsible for their own?

The most most women do for men in bed is simply allow him to stick his penis in her, then the rest is down to him. His orgasm, his responsibility, her orgasm his responsibility too apparently, while she gets to lie there and hardly do anything. Doesn’t sound like a fair split to me.

Women need to take initiative and communicate and touch themselves and help themselves get there. They have no right to complain if they literally do nothing to help themselves orgasm and simply expect men to just figure it out on their own.

Sounds like you’re just mad at biology. That’s how sex works, but women don’t finish from 7 minutes. It’s just greedy to assume otherwise. While you’re done she’s got nothing to work with.

Not mad, I just don’t understand how people can complain when they don’t even try and help themselves orgasm. There’s plenty women can do, and they don’t do it. They expect men to do all the work.

So you admit it is easier for men to orgasm. Great. And this situation doesn’t just apply to men coming in 7 minutes. Even if he lasts for 20, many women will still not take any initiative in that time frame. No suggestion to change position like her on top, and they won’t touch themselves. There are plenty of positions where women are able to touch themselves while a man is penetrating them.

Idk what kind of women are you sleeping with. You need to set the scene and take initiative. Have you brought out toys or did anything that gives her pleasure? Why wouldn’t you want your partner to finish? Vaginal sex isn’t going to make a woman cum that doesn’t mean it’s more difficult for her to have an orgasm,

And what does she do? She doesn’t need to help me the scene? She doesn’t need to take initiative for her own orgasm? She doesn’t have to do anything, just lie there and enjoy the ride?

Have you brought out toys or did anything that gives her pleasure?

Yes. Im talking in general terms. Not necessarily specific to me. Why is it my responsibility to get toys? She can’t do that?

Why wouldn’t you want your partner to finish?

I do. Again, I’m just saying I don’t understand how women can complain about not finishing when so many of them do absolutely nothing to help themselves finish. They (and you) seem to think they shouldn’t have to do anything but lie there and be pleasured because sex is 100% the man’s responsibility. See, you’re doing it now. I say women should help themselves orgasm and you say I don’t want her to orgasm. Do women have any responsibility in sex?

Vaginal sex isn’t going to make a woman cum that doesn’t mean it’s more difficult for her to have an orgasm.

I’m well aware women mostly have orgasm from clitoral stimulation. Which is exactly why I’m saying women should touch their clitoris while having sex. But many of them don’t. They expect the man to do all the work.

Do you only watch porn or are you just giving crappy sex. If all you think a woman does is lie there you need help or skill or something

Why can't men just admit it?

[–]Kinexity 22 points23 points24 points 4 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

Admit what? You can't make a log (physical or mental) orgasm if it just lays in the bed. If women do not feel satisfied from sex they shouldn't just fake it but instead bring it up so that the solution can be found. Yes, men like to see that a woman reaches climax during sex because it makes them feel good. Faking orgasm is just putting a small plaster on a big wound. I've seen here recently either mentioned or shared a study which concluded that men's libidos stay constant after 5 years of marriage while women's tanks which is probably a contributor to them initiating 3 times as many divorces as men. Maybe the fact that they don't communicate sexual dissatisfaction is part of the problem?

I was being sarcastic. I forgot this forum isn't for shitposting.

Honestly, sometimes sarcasm is just hard to read when we can't hear the intended tone of your comment. We've all been there.

Yeah, forgot.
