The BBC at it again (although not as bad as last time...) [reporting on Philipp Tanzer's attendance at the ICMI]

UK Building Society bucks trend, is nice to Fathers on Fathers' day (even on the major network television channels).

This is something I am concerned about. During my pregnancy so far my husband has definitely had some sympathy symptoms. And he has admitted he is worried about newborn care and making a mistake to hurt our baby.

I, along with many women, babysat at a teen and I did infant care in church for a long time so I am reasonably confident, but he never had those experiences. Plus, his work doesn't give any paternity time for him to be home and really bond at the newborn level. He'll have his vacation time, but that's it.

Of course these things are going to have a negative impact!

I am all for this, men get postpartum depression. Both genders get it.

Many post about how male mental health issues are ignored. But then this gets posted to normalize male mental health issues and it gets 8 upvotes...

Seems even the people that complain about mental health issues being ignored are just as guilty as the feminists for ignoring it.

Leaving aside the fact that you are the worst person to take a moral stance against hypocrisy, are you suggesting that posts about how male mental health issues are ignored get more upvotes in general? Are you sure the lack of upvotes is because users here don't care about mental health issues, or might there be some other reason, such as timing of the post, the source of the post, or something else? Moreover, are you sure a lack of upvotes means people aren't seeing the post or approving of it?

I guess it's easier to pretend that everyone here except you is an awful person who doesn't care, making you the One Good Man even when you're defending paedophilia.

Nah. People just like an echo chamber of self victimization. Just like feminists.

[–]TheSnesLord 7 points8 points9 points 4 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

"echo chamber"? Yet you're allowed to continuously spew your disguised misandrist donkey s**t here?

[–]EnvironmentalWar4627 -1 points0 points1 point 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

I've never said anything mosandrist. You just think people that believe in equality are anti men.

[–]EmirikolWoker 7 points8 points9 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

You have described criticism of looser laws that disproportionatly imprison men while not covering women offenders as wanting to make abuse legal, called anger about false rape allegations "defending real rapists" as well as comparing anger at false rape allegations to anger at people not caring about ones feelings, described criticism of the gender sentencing gap as just mean(ing) more criminals on the streets, stated that you believe there's no force or coercion involved in raping a minor when women do it, continually defended an ideology that is innately anti-male when you examine what needs to be true for it to reflect reality, and called misogyny on the very concept of countering the Women Are Wonderful effect, where wrongdoing carried out by women is perceived as less serious, if it's perceived at all.

You don't believe in equality. You are a liar, gaslighter, and paedophile apologist.

[–]EmirikolWoker 3 points4 points5 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Was this you? What happened in 5 months to go from "was there ever a time that men had it good?" to "People just like an echo chamber of self victimization"?

In any case, an echo chamber would have banned your paedophilia-apologising ass a long time ago.

Problem being, that document is most likely there because ots good for women in the end, and its completly not about our good, in any real way.
