Feminism only has three basic rules:

Blame men.
All men are bad and want to hurt women.
You cannot be a good or moral person without being a feminist.

Feminism can't exist without "Patriarchy". Thus they invent non-issues like man spreading, use tortured-data like the 77% wage gap, and just generally sling mud at anything males enjoy doing.

But don't believe me out of hand; test The Rules for yourself on Feminist arguments, and draw your own conclusions.

Once the pattern is seen, it's impossible to unsee.

Yeah. Most men aren't making the rules and running the big companies and all that. We're the grunt workers and doing all the same jobs women are for the most part. Trust me I WISH I had the power to just decide how society runs but realistically a female executive at a company has way more influence in how things are run there than I would as a general employee.

This is such a bad characterization of what the supposed partriarchy even attempts to describe or what even the average feminist beleives it's hard to believe you're being serious. You have actually described a cartoon.

I mean, I have had it pretty easy. But I do feel like I deserve it too. Let's just say there wasn't anything overt about the opportunities I received and a lot of it is probably down to socialization to "fake it till I make it" and act confidently.

The problem is that implicit bias is hard to quantify and if I did benefit from it that doesn't make me a bad person. If I perpetuate something consciously that's where the good ol boys club comes in.

Edit: I can't tell if it's unsuccessful men down voting me for my success or insecure men down voting me because I shared my experience but I have to say I'm disappointed by the negativity of this community. If you disagree with me how about having a conversation about it instead of hitting the "idea I don't like" button.
