I wasn't able to make it a picture post because of the way this sub is, but here's the link to the screenshot

Anyways, it's exactly the title. This guy went on to a subreddit to talk about how he had been out jogging. He saw a woman coming up and didn't think much of it when she stopped walking. As he went to pass her, she unloads a can of pepper spray into his face, sending him blinded to the ground. By the time he was done gasping for breath and able to see a little she was long gone.

I won't expressly say what sub, but he came online to truly get this off his chest and also ask if he should tell the police about this assault.. after the story there are a couple of edits, within saying something like "okay. Okay, I get it.. It seems I was in the wrong and I won't be going to the police. I hadn't considered she may of had trauma or how scared she may have been"..

I go to look in the comments and sure enough, and keep in mind this is a post with thousands of upvotes and hundreds of comments, there are so many people essentially telling this guy, "awee poor baby! You got sprayed a little and now you want to further traumatize your victim? You should be ashamed of yourself, what were you doing out jogging? She saw a man running towards her she had every right to hurt you and YOU should be the one apologizing but instead the little fragile boy wants to tell on her, pathetic".

Obviously I'm paraphrasing and exaggerating the exact wording, but for fuck sake- this guy was literally just out on a jog. he had never met this woman before, he didn't say a word to her, wasn't fucking licking his lips with his arms outstretched, wildly motorboating the air as he approached. He literally was just passing her by and she assaulted him with a chemical defense weapon and then ran.. But because of the possibility she was scared or that she had past trauma and he was a man this is not only justified but this guy, the fucking victim, is being made to feel like they're the one in the wrong??

I just.. I am so fucking sick of this shit..
