Why isn't the phrase "he should have kept it in his pants" never used to women who want to abort their baby?

Isn't "Believe women" sexist?

You think it's a coincidence that United Nations (the same people who's message for men's day was "happy men's day to all allies who support women") picked 19th of November to be International Toilet day?

It is so sad that we still need to say that "men can be victims too."

[–]FatherOfLights88 3 points4 points5 points 4 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

It's not "can be". It's "are".

[–]WhiteRabbit16 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Cognitive dissonance or perhaps confusion as taboo

[–]FatherOfLights88 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

It's rather impressive, isn't it, the mental hoops one will go to in order to skirt the admission that there are people on this world who are objectively bad.

JD is a good man who has led a troubled internal life. As such, he has done bad things.

AH is a bad person who has done nothing good in this world.

The two simply cannot be compared against eaxh other, as they are fundamentally not the same thing.

Yes thank you for articulating this. I m enjoying Johnny articulate this too. He said so many lines were crossed, that he didn’t know where lines were anymore” and he used the word “reprobate”

I had to look up it’s meaning an unprincipled person. "She had to present himself as more of a lovable reprobate

"I did assault a couple of cabinets, but I didn't touch Ms. Heard,"

Unless of course she's a cabinet. I'm sure they'll argue that.

[–]raclnp 33 points34 points35 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Yeah only absolute passiveness and submission is accepted.

And then people will question why you didn't do anything, and that it couldn't have been that bad.

It's disgusting.

[–]Chinchillin09 24 points25 points26 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

"Your honor, my client identifies as a cabinet, we haver to stop this cabinetphobia once and for all!"

[–]PacoBedejo 9 points10 points11 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Unless of course she's a cabinet.

I've seen her acting. Such claim could be credible.

[–]Normal-Yogurtcloset5 4 points5 points6 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Well, her acting is sometime wooden, so…

[–]HorrorFan1191 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Yeah exactly, they will argue what if she identifies as a cabinet.

[–]Vanriel 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

If she's a cabinet does that mean you can take her to a scrapyard and Chuck her?

[–]WhiteRabbit16 35 points36 points37 points 4 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

Interesting as her father seems bit odd… but good that she’s acknowledging women can be violent abuser and Johnny Depp sister said there mom scapegoated abused and threw things in violence at Johnny as kid

[–]PacoBedejo 10 points11 points12 points 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Interesting as her father seems bit odd…

The highly vocal anti-gun activist who has negligently injured and murdered more people than the millions of armed Americans whom he has repeatedly maligned? Odd indeed.

[–]BWSnap 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Are you talking about Alec Baldwin?

[–]PacoBedejo 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Aye. Her father has negligently killed more people than 99.9% of American gun owners while being vocally and ignorantly anti-gun.

[–]very-muscular-badger 2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

She's not responsible for her father's personalized, actions, or anything else though.

[–]WhiteRabbit16 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

True

[–]DavidByron2 94 points95 points96 points 4 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Male can be victims too if they have millions of dollars to clear their name and decades of fame as a Hollywood heart throb for women.... but only after struggling for years and spending millions of dollars and after losing a court of law despite a shit ton of positive evidence including witnesses, video, hospital and police records and a fucking confession.

Other male victims can go fuck themselves.

[–]mrriorball -1 points0 points1 point 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

are you implying that johnny depp is less of a victim because he’s famous?

[–]DavidByron2 6 points7 points8 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I'm saying if he can be fucked over what chance has anyone else?

[–]WhiteRabbit16 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

My dad was married to an Amber Heard character, unlike Johnny he didn’t have the language to describe the abuse. And it’s difficult to believe a pretty skinny and sometimes really loving 🥰 woman can also be extremely abusive. It’s so confusing

[–]OldEgalitarianMRA 27 points28 points29 points 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

It will be very interesting to hear the jury instructions about what is "domestic violence".

[–]GivePuppiesBazookas 3 points4 points5 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

This is a civil suit over the WaPo article. This actually has very little to do with DV. DV is coming up to relate her inferences in the article are about Depp, to essentially say it was referring to him and also a lie. This court is not placing any judgement at all on DV.

[–]WhiteRabbit16 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Yes it’s a civil defamation case, no real outcome or punishment, just an airing out, this kangaroo court has no real powers and no money outcomes

[–]eldred2 12 points13 points14 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Did you read the article? Ireland Baldwin may be defending Depp, but the author of the article isn't:

The pair have accused each other of abuse over the course of the trial for the past 10 days, but cross-examination by Heard's defense team on Thursday revealed eye-popping text messages, photos and video evidence — much of which Heard took herself during their relationship — painting Depp as a violent substance abuser.

[–]Impressive-Coat-22 18 points19 points20 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

We all know Depp is a victim here, but the quote is true: in order to protect her own ass Amber is trying to smear Johnny's bad deeds in jury's face (and let's be honest, he had a history of drug abuse and a few misdeeds). It doesn't make him any less of a victim, but the lawyer of Amber's is trying to do whatever in order to make it seem like relationship was mutualy abusive in order to protect her ass.

For some reason r/twoxchromosomes has been awfully quiet about this case

[–]Anticelidg[S] 5 points6 points7 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

In the same way feminists are awfully quiet about female privilege, womansplaining and every situation where women are seen in a negative light.

[–]NextStopMyAss 14 points15 points16 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Always good to see truth from smart women!

[–]pappo4ever 10 points11 points12 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

This girl Amber, has the same expresion that my ex had when she was on medication. My ex did to me exactly the things that Heard did to Depp. There is something about mental illness that reflects in the muscles of your face. Because you have to be certainly ill to be married to Captain Sparrow and ruin it.

[–]Ryuujinken 7 points8 points9 points 4 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

There's something in her face that creeps the shit out of me.

[–]UnemployedTechie2021 4 points5 points6 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

It's her whole face mate, not just something in it.

[–]WhiteRabbit16 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Her face beautiful but sometimes something dead behind the eyes

[–]Ryuujinken 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

The face of a psychopath

In excess of 70% of all victims of FALSE allegations of abuse are men. Yes, men may not speak of the matter as openly or as often as women, but we do suffer from the adverse affects.

Good. Now it's generational. We have a famous family speaking out for men's issues. For those who don't know, her father Alec, wrote a book about the corrupt the family court system. This bodes well for the future. Maybe other famous families will join them.

Although the "men can be victims too" ticked me off a bit, I'm glad she spoke out against Amber Heard.

It's not can be hun, it's the fact that men are victims too. And not just tens or thousands. Millions. Everyday.
