So, I believe the attorney for my ex-wife violated the law, engaged in misconduct and ethical violations. In describing the incident in my home, the ex's lawyer used language intentionally designed to exaggerate the situation and gain the sympathy of the family court judge. I am trying to have this attorney investigated by the CA state bar.... But, I need some more evidence. Does anyone know someone who was taken advantage of by an ex's attorney re: a TRO, who lives in Los Angeles, CA? If so, please reach out. Or, do you know how I can access a database of previously filed TRO's? I'd like to compare the ones she's written. THANK YOU

Yeah bud, welcome to the club. All sorts of accusations none remotely true. Was able to get it removed couple months later. Could have been worse, but impacted my time with my kid.

I sure was! Said I was this huge tattooed guy with an AK47. I’m a very average build office worker and have no interest in AK47s. It was purely to inconvenience me and use it as a threat for leverage. She never showed up to the hearing.

BTW…..this was after she was removed from the home for DV.

Yes, was charged with DV3, I called the police because her son pointed a handgun at my chest, with my 14 month old son in my arms, when I asked him to stop petting my dog. The sheriffs department arrived, took their story. Went inside and cuffed me. 24 hours later I find out I have a PFA signed against me. I was not allowed to contact her, I could not get any clothes, my daily medicine, even my wallet, for over 2 weeks. Same clothes I had on when it went down. Constant lies, in less than 4 days she had reached out to me and asked if I wanted to keep my son for a few hours. Next day, she invited me to our home to eat breakfast, stayed around 5 hours and spent time with both of my boys then. Around her the entire time. The sheriff told me she wasn’t suppose to contact me either, or she would go to jail, but that was cleared up real quick. She can do what she wants basically. It’s all a ploy to get the upper hand. Proof of everything will help a lot. Be as nice to her as you can be if she does contact you. No crossed words. It should help when you actually go to court. Sooner or later these judges will catch on to all of this, it’s basically manipulating the system so all the control is hers.

Yes! And it was granted and listed the kids as protected parties. Everything in there was a lie and I had video proof to dispute everything that happened. It supported my case, and I won attorneys fees as a result. It prevented me from initiating contact with the kids for a full month.
