19-year-old woman who punched an elderly man unconscious in the street, causing him to fall to the ground, hit his head and then die a week later, is cleared of causing his death. Instead, she was charged with "wounding" and given a six-month curfew

So women don't want to participate because it requires time, effort and doesn't pay enough. One cow said she didn't want to participate because she didn't like an all male staff.. and then they say its the men who are biased and create hurdles.

Good points.

The article says the time commitment is too great and pay is too low to attract female candidates.

Obviously, all the men who choose to serve are willing to do so for the same low pay.

Well according to FDS, women are just expensive .

Funny how it’s a problem when men are more represented in a field or area but it’s progress when women are more represented.

I also disagree with the article that a politician needs to be the same sex as their constituent to represent them. Political representation is not sex dependent. I feel the female governor of my state represents my interests quite well, better than her male opponent would have.

Remember that sexist india 'trailblazer' ad for amazon?

I missed that one. I remember Gillette’s misandrist ad, yet few men stopped buying their products…..

It must have hurt the bottom line though, since they apparently dropped the campaign!

Please, tell me more.

Her actions are more in line with my desires than the other candidate. She’s not into woke B.S. She does what makes sense.

I've read your posts for a while and respect your opinion. But that's totally vague and gives me no information.

Can you be more specific?

Feel free to direct message me.

If no women run for office, how does one expect them to attain said office? Even if they run and win, what benefit would arise that isn't available from a similar male candidate?

What I'm saying is, just because a particular gender isn't represented in some endeavor doesn't necessarily mean that endeavor will suffer for it.

I require evidence greater than "there aren't any of group X in job Z!".

In other words, asking for equality by outcome
