I have reached acceptance. While there is still much to do before decree day I understand it is happening and the bell has been rang. As I reach this point I’m looking to understand my new life approach and situation.
Friends: I don’t have many as I work odd hours and have only lived in my city two years. How did you get past this hurdle?
Hobbies: I’ve been hitting the gym per recommendation which has been great. I’m considering a tough mudder in august if I can convince someone to roll with me. What did you get into? Did you take any kind of classes? Music/cooking?
I am a single dad, honestly I’ve been a single dad for a long time so this doesn’t scare me. It will be nice to not have to cater our plans around mom and walking on eggshells around her during our time. She always complained about parks and stuff the kids enjoy. Did anyone find any single parent groups or naturally fall into friendships through parenting?
Finances/side hustles: unfortunately I will be paying her lots of money (I got to get cheated on, lose my family and now give her money… ain’t life grand?) so, that being said in the handful of days I won’t have my kiddos 50/50 time split did anyone come up with easy ways to make some extra cash and to fill time?
DIY: I will keep the house, any easy projects you’ve done to increase value?
Just a couple of things I was curious about this morning.
