Ok so for some context I (24M) work long night shifts as a body guard for a high-end jewelers shop meaning my normal sleep hours are 10Am to 6 Pm. My shift today ended at about 5Am so I do what I normally do which is going on a hour long walk.

So it was proboly no later then 5:30Am when I just started walking at I was walking behind a girl who looked about 19-20 and I noticed she kept looking over her shoulder which made me very uncomfortable as I've had bad experience with women before.

Now it's important to note 2 things, 1. I'm a very fast walker and 2. Im relatively big.

So I start to chach up to her but don't notice as I'm looking down on my phone. I look up and see that she is just staring me down like death stare but she quickly turned around when I looked up and reached into her pocket and grabbed her phone.

I still didn't think to much but beacuse of how close she was I wanted to get infront of her as she was creeping me out so I started to walk faster and on the road as I felt it was less rude to walk around her.

When I was about equal distance to her (as in she was next to me but I was still on the road) I tryed to walk infront of her to get ahead.

All of a sudden when I went back onto the pavement she started screaming, ran up next to me, pushed me to the ground and continued running away. I had seriously banged my head when she pushed me and was in a lot of pain.

A car also came round the corner and nearly ran over me luckily I got up just in time before getting hit. I contemplated calling the police on her but I didn't realy care any more and again had bad experiences with police.

So like 5 minitues go by and 2 cop cars pulls up next to me with a bunch of officers coming out and jumping me. I dont fully remember what happend next but I was put in the back of the police car and i know a female officer spit on me despite the fact I was being cooperative and just asking why I was being arrested.

So I learn that I was arrested for attempted murder and sexuall harassment. Which I was very confused by. Turn out the crazy lady had reported me because (in her words quote) "I was walking suspiciously" So she lied and told the officers I was threatening her and making sexual gestures which i wasnt.

After spending a night in a cell I was released and the lady desided to drop the charges beacuse oviously she had no prove.

This hole situation has just made me realy annoyed as I know if the gender roles where reversed this wodnt have happend and I'm even more disgusted by how the officers refused to tell me even why I was being arrested and spat on me.

Anyway sorry I just had to get it off my chest as everyone I've spoken to just told me to suck it up since to her I would have seemed dangerous so she was fair to call the police and its realy been bothering me.
