So I’m not gonna pretend that I’m a guru or anything. In high school I was lucky to take a girl to prom and in college I only got with two girls. I didn’t get my first GF until a few years after college and I’m pretty sure having a high paying tech job is what makes me attractive.

my current GF lives in my place but I pay all the bills. She only covers her car payment and tuition. This setup make sense since i make 5 times what she makes and I lived by myself before she moved in. I consider myself to be a “good boyfriend” since I don’t cause any drama and finances aren’t an issue. Since my GF doesn’t have many bills she typically spends her paycheck at her job (jewelry store) and complains that she is broke. She will send me pictures of stuff she wants and I sometimes give in. If I do something I’m used to doing like cleaning the bathroom or cooking dinner she always says that her previous BFs never did that. I start to ask myself why I have to be Superman when her previous 2 BFs only had to wipe their ass in by order to stay in a relationship.

My GF is 23 so sometimes I assume that I’m just paying the price to not have her be in the streets “having fun”. I know she doesn’t have any other guys in her life since she stays with me and she volunteered to share her location with me. When I look at other guys around me they do the bare minimum and their women still treat them like a god.

Is their any benefit to being a “good boyfriend” or is it better to just find a girl who is okay with being by my side while I work towards my goals? My ultimate goal is to find a house wife and my current GF led into the relationship that she will accept that position if I can provide. She is attractive and I don’t want to hop back into the dating scene since finding a girl that’s attractive and actually wants to be a housewife is tedious and I don’t want another girl to ask me what’s my sign or what’s my favorite color… need advice.
