So... let's say I'm in a relationship (or something perceived as one by my hypothetical partner), and she's being emotionally abusive towards me, and I bounce and cut contact to preserve my own mental health, I get dragged through the courts on a charge of not caring for her mental health?

My thoughts: who cares, it's some dude trying to pass a bill in the Philippines, I doubt it will pass. But they also ride around shooting drug dealers so who knows. I don't feel like this is a mens rights issue as either gender can ghost and get a hypothetical emotional offense.

Not enough room in jail because everyone is getting or going to get ghost at some point or another. This is so stupid. Impress me with a law that give Dads their GOD given right to "their" kids. And stop allowing these stupid females to control every thing.

I second this. Ghosting IS emotional abuse, with or without relationship. There's not a single culture on Earth which didn't develop social norms to regulate our lives. Ghosting someone is sheer emotional abuse. Say something like an excuse but say it, if you are "empowered" or "strong and independent"(TM) then you're expected to have the balls to politely dump someone. That's the behavioural equivalent of racism. All this exaggerated individualism bullshit is simply against our animal social nature. That's it.

What I don't trust is its application in a gynocentric social order, the moment you enact such a law it will be applied in a female-friendly way
